Not a religious society in a sense that they have a state religion. But most Kenyans have a strong spiritual/religious belief system.whether ancestral,Islamic or Christian.
Also,the constitution of Kenya grants the right to all groups to freely express their point of view.

The religious group is entitled to it's opinion. At least they stood up for what they believe in. The constitution of the republic of Kenya gives them the right to voice out their concern.
