He might have had a bad game in our last 2 qualifiers doesn’t meant he hasn’t been good for the Eagles

You need to stop lying bro ,the ejuke you praised una go still insult am soon

Simon Moses has been good for the eagles ,he has not been most of you guys favorite that’s why

No he hasn’t and we should stop lying. Just because he is assisting through corner kicks or an anywhere belle face pass at his club should not negate the fact that he hasn’t had an impressive performance for SE in a minute. Anyway, Rohr can continue to not field his best players until next nations cup. If Rohr doesn’t reach the finals or Win the ANC, then he might have to go

Opinion: Three Reasons Why Super Eagles Could Emerge As AFCON 2021 Champions
kabiyesi

As you set your foot on the majestic Cairo international Airport at El Nozha, Governorate, you're welcome by stern looking custom officers who ensure that you get a clear passage into the country without much ado.

Walking through the arrival Hall, pictures of Hassan brothers, Aboutreka and other Egyptian's football heroes with AFCON medals hanging on their necks adorned the walls.

But from Heliopolis to Tahir Square, football is being worshiped in Cairo, and every single Pharaoh fan believe Nigeria Super Eagles is Egypt's major threat in the African Cup of Nations.

Both countries will again rekindle their rivalry in Group D opener when AFCON 2021 get underway in Cameroon next January, and all eyes will be on Nigeria and Egypt to make an easy passage to the next round considering the strength and pedigree of Sudan and Guinea-Bissau.

While host Cameroon will be looking forward to avenging their second round defeat to Nigeria at the last edition in Egypt, other teams like Ghana, Côte d'Ivoire, Algeria, and Senegal are expected to parade a crack side that is capable of sweeping their way to the podium.

While the big boys are always tipped to win the competition, below are three major reasons why Nigeria could emerge 2021 AFCON champions.

1. Rohr Now Understand The Terrain Better.

Super Eagles gaffer seems to understand African football terrain better after three appearances at the AFCON with Burkina Faso, Gabon, and Nigeria.

He now understands all that he needs to put together to win Africa most prestigious competition: a near perfect goalkeeper, water tight defense, a well knitted midfield that is powered by goal hungry strikers that are armed to the teeth, and of course, a strong bench.

Rohr now understands how to be wary of injuries in the group stage and above all, keep his best for the last. These and many other factors would be a defining factor in his quest to win his first AFCON diadem.

2. Nigeria Is Blessed With The Right Talents.

Barring any injuries, Nigeria seems to parade the most talented and youngest squad at the moment with some its players playing their trade is some big European clubs. Besides, the experience gained in Egypt will be useful for most of the players that will fly the green and white flag in Cameroon.

3 Everything Is Under Control

Yet qualifications aside, Rohr seems to have everything under control, and he is strictly sticking to his program. He is set to visit Super Eagles hotel and training pitch, while effort is in top gear to pick a training camp in Europe. These are good steps in the right direction.
First point is moot. It's taken him this long to 'understand' the African terrain? Dude got his first job in Africa as far back as 2010!

Ejaria matter no be today.
This is one guy I can tell you who never saw Nigeria as a second option. Nigeria has always been FIRST
That said, the matter don reach FIFA tey. I don't really know if he has been cleared yet. But there has been reports that he has been.
He shows this quality in training according to their coach, he just need to bring it on consistently match time, then we won't have to worry about Ebere Eze's commitment, because they are similar players to me, and Iwobi will have some good competition.

Yeah this Ejaria thing is weird. Maybe Rohr doesn't rate him as highly as we do.

Really epic. Dessers has already walked his way into the Hearts of Feyenoord fans just for triggering the PSV fanbase. Lol

Gives them enough weaponry in their banters with PSV fans for the rest of the season. Hahaha.. all parts of the beautiful game.

I think the last SE player that did this same style should be Osaze Odemwingie at West Brom that year. Should be Man U or so. I like players that do this thing. But that Drogba 2006 own pain me well mehn. Telling SE fans to shush!! Chai. grin

Nice weaponry no doubt

Lookman is good, I wonder what is keeping his switch. Danjuma will also be needed.
We need the best talents to successfully execute the last phase of the World cup qualifier.
Lookman is still hoping for an England call up.

You analyse football out of sentiments sometimes especially when it comes super eagles players

I will say it the way it is...a player is as good as his last games

He has not been convincing enough for the super eagles in the aspect of crossing and more i didnt call him a bad player should ejuke start flopping tomorrow will say same....even if he is my favourites or not it does not stop me from calling him out when he underperforms

Simon Moses has been "dependable" for us. Not as flashy or dynamic as the likes of Samu, Kalu, Ejuke, etc but he's one Rohr likes because he always puts in a shift on both ends of the pitch.

Victor Moses outplayed Ejuke in every aspect this evening, despite playing at wingback.

Ejuke couldn't get past.

His main duty is to create chances, assist and score and if he cannot do his main duty, someone else has to be given a chance. Enough of these moral victory nonsense

I guess no one is talking about how Simon moses has 5 assists in 6 games?
Na still otu....You'd wonder where these are when he's playing for Nigeria. No successful cross and his take ons are readable.

You know he will run and want to cut to his left, very predictable play.

By now Osihmen should have comprehensive understanding of how Insigne plans. He cuts from left wing and shoots. In this case Osihmen should always prepare himself for rebound and stop waiting for a pass that will never come from Insigne.
Napoli has just scored and the scorer is not known yet between Insigne and Osihmne.
Modified: Osihmen has the goal.

Osimhen scores. Insigne will kill him in the dressing room, but the defender might have cleared it off the line.

Victor Osimhen has been credited with Napoli's first goal, this is his first Serie A goal this season and his third goal for Napoli this season.
