RIP Rush Limbaugh. Great man. Rush Limbaugh a "great man"?? Do you live in an alternate reality or something? |

Why are they angry with the GOP though? at least, the GOP helped them send two extremist to Congress courtesy the orange turd. If they like let them not get nice. Lindsay Graham said Trump was pissed about the impeachment but was ready to let "bygones be bygones"....the comedian knows he can't go form his own party. Watch he'll eventually try to suck the others dicks...just like he did with Cruz and Rubio after that crazy primaries in 2015. |

raumdeuter: That is why they are striding both sides, Condemning Trumps actions(appeasing the moderates) yet acquitting him (Appeasing the extremes)
Or if you were to be a GOP strategist hoping to win elections in the future, what will you rather do? Honestly I don't think Mitch did enough to please the moderates. He's lucky this impeachment thing came towards the end of Trump's presidency hence he could use the excuse of not being able to impeach someone not in power. He could've held this impeachment trial before Trump left but hey... |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by edi287: 4:59pm On Feb 15, 2021 |
raumdeuter: You heard McConnels speech after the trial that is the highest ranking Republican in Senate, you saw what Nikki Haley said last week, Will that be possible when Trump was still in office? Yet its less than a month after Trump left office That is enough distancing in the political realm. An ex president will still have influence and allies in key places
Politics is still a game of numbers and GOP know they need to find a way to carry along the crazy faction of the right just like the left too has to find a way to carry along the Anti-FA extreme left if they want to win an election even if they dont like their ideologies or what they represent
Will I vote Eric Trump? I wont even vote Donald Trump. But people who will vote Donald Trump will see no reason why they wont vote his son if the father was banned
If GOP convict Trump the only side it benefits electorally is Democrats as it isolate a significant block of their voters So if the 20-30% decide to sit out elections or form another mushroom party. Is that not the democrats wish? This makes strategic sense but what about the moderates that were talking about opening a center right party and the ones who might just be tempted to switch parties?? |

Ibime: Utah is Republican, not Trumps. Trump has never had over 50% approval rating in Utah cos Mormons don't like his proud, bashful and false rhetoric and belittling of opponents. It is at odds with their religion and the way they comport themselves. The only thing Utah hate more than Trump is Democrats for obvious religious reasons.
Romney's term is up in 2024, not 26. He is one of the only Republican senators with balls, and a multi multi millionaire, an ex-Governor of Massachusetts etc. He is not a bïtch like most Republicon senators looking for where to eat, or like Moscow Mitch who gave hostage speech yesterday to show he is only paying rent in a party where Trump is Landlord. Don't mind him. He thinks Romney is Jeff Sessions |

basilico: Hi
He begged Trump to endorse him. Sure Trump made some unsavoury comments about Romney over his 2012 opponent in Obama. Well Trump said Romney chickened out.Thats on record. We all know Trump says what he means And means what he says. Romney is a turncoat. Rode on MAGA rodeo train and got elected. Then went against Trump.
Trump was the first president who dedicated all his policies to an American first agenda. The whole DC apparatus dont want that because money has to be made from especially China the world's factory. Romney is a globalist. He will not contest . He has no chance Proof please. Romney never begged Trump for shit!! Trump endorsed him on his own just like he did in 2012. Typical Trump thinking that he's some kind of kingpin. That's how he said Sadiq Khan would be an "exception" for his Muslim ban and Sadiq told him to Bleep off with his compliment. Romney will run 2026 and win again! |

Stop lying. He didn't beg Trump for shit. Trump endorsed him on his own. 2026 will come and ROMNEY will win again. Romney voted to impeach the guy TWICE. Does that sound like a bitch to you? |

basilico: Call it Trump party. If Trump cancels any RINO his base will punish them.
Dems are in disarray. They have to stop Trump running again, because everyone knows he will win. There will be no mailin votes without signature and address verification. Which makes it impossible for Dems to rig. Trump can't do shit to the likes of Romney, Murkowski and Collins. Murkowski has won her state as both an Independent and a Republican. She will win again next year EASILY. MAGATS were talking about how Collins was in trouble till she easily trounced her opponent. Just like Joe Machin in Virginia. He does what he wants and NO ONE in the DNC can do anything about it. Murkowski is not Jeff Sessions. Sooner you magats realize it - the better. |

Ladyhippolyta88: Although it is a shame and stain on the republican party I wanna commend the 7 GOP senators that voted to convict it was the most bipartisan vote on conviction in American history.
Senator Romney although I don't agree with his policies must be commended he did it twice and he is a true republican who is not happy with where his party is at and is loved in Utah by the mormons.
I was surprised that Bill Cassidy who was once a democrat voted to convict Trump too his state party is already barking at him.Even Richard Burr surprised me I was not surprised by Toomey's vote to convict I thought Portman will convict since he was not vying for re-election but he is spineless like the others Also Ben Sasse who may be censured by the Nebraska GOP he did well on this one I wonder why the GOP is censuring and rebuking their own for a man that joined the party less than 7 years ago a useless, morbidly obese scum of a man tueh.
Susan Collins has a lose screw it seems she voted to convict because Trump did not learn his lesson this time around she gave that excuse last year when she voted to acquit.
The one that struck me the most was senator Lisa Murkowski she is up next year yet she had the courage to do this she was always anti-Trump and is loved in Alaska she may very well be re-elected she seemed to be the only one with something to lose because she is up next year but she chose to do the right thing and voted her conscience.
*Claps* I applaud them. Trump has threatened Murkowski but it's clear she doesn't give a damn. She's won her state as an independent so MAGATs are wasting their time if they think they can intimidate her. People like Collins and Murkowski will vote however they feel like because their states run jungle primary elections. |

basilico: Hi
Some of those being arrested were arsonists .Burn the **** down They rant and rave knowing very well they will be bailed out if arrested. And continue burning the place down after release? While the group paying out has high profile Kamala getting them funds. And saying the protests should continue?
What part of logic do you not understand.
Trump called for a peaceful protest. And Kamala called for a violent one? If Kamala is meant to know that MFF were bailing out Arsonist then Trump should've known that he has loonies as supporters. Simple. I have no time for lame double standards..#Trumpisguilty |

basilico: Yes she did. She paid for bails of Antifa. One of the recipient of her fundraising was a rapist who went om to murder after their bail was posted. She knew they were criminals when helping post their bail. What does that tell you. Loool I swear you're a bloody comedian. Kamala asking people to donate to a group that helped bail out people getting arrested for protesting means she paid for it? Does Kamala own MTF? Kamala is supposed to be responsible for MFF bailing out a rapist but Trump should be blameless for the riot?? Well done!! *claps *claps |
Foreign Affairs › Re: American Politics Thread: Trump Is The 47th President! by edi287: 11:32pm On Feb 13, 2021 |
basilico: To summarise. Trump supporters to a man almost believe the election fraud was massive and should be audited. Media and Big tech constantly squeal there was no fraud. Trump tells them to protest peacefully.Media ignore the peaceful part and claim had he not "falsely" claimed electoral fraud , the capitol would not have been breached. Read , its impeachable to claim fraud and demamd audits in specific counties. DID YOU REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU BLAMED THE LOOTING AND VIOLENCE ON BLM LEADERS?? Weren't you the one trying to say Kamala Harris supported the violence in those rallies? |

LordAdam16: Don't flatter yourself. You guys needed a once-in-a-century pandemic to rig the election.
So you agree that Sessions is a clown and Dems would be stupid to accept him. What's your argument then?
Never-Trumpers are grifters. Good riddance. Just look at the clown show that is the Lincoln Project scandal. If the Democrats want that, we'd pay you guys to take them.
-Lord Because Dems have won all their elections as a result of a pandemic? Sessions has always been loyal to Trump till he decided to do something logical for once and all of a sudden he's now a consensus clown? Thanks for the Lincoln Project guys. I sure have enjoyed how much they've embarrassed Trump. Trump wasn't rigged out. He lost. Mail in ballots will not become a problem when Okrika Reagan loses. Next time, tell him not to lie about a pandemic and mock people who take it seriously. |

LordAdam16: Oh, that was necessary.
They outed themselves. The Trump movement tried to be welcoming post his election in 2016. The likes of Nikki Haley, Tillerson, Mattis, Sessions, were welcomed into the fold and yet they repeatedly stabbed the movement in the back.
This is a long-term project and that means grifters will have to be regularly ejected.
We know them including many of those who didn't even vote for convict or impeach like Crenshaw and Thune.
These same Never-Trumpers were in the party when the GOP lost 5 of 6 popular votes. Democrats have open borders and demographics going for them, a bunch of old gringos in purple states are immaterial to their success.
-Lord MAGA crowd will never win the popular vote so I don't understand the rationale behind mentioning that. The fact you think Sessions "stabbed" Trump in the back shows how some of you people think. Good thing Dems aren't stupid enough to welcome clowns like that. Trump won narrowly in 2016 and all of a sudden thought he was a big shot and didn't need the centrists/moderates. Now that he got smacked around, we start hearing excuses of "rigging". Trump will never face a candidate as unpopular as Hillary Clinton. So no "her emails" to bail him out. |

pompeiimagnus: Affidavits are just statements, you can't win a case without concrete and physical evidence to support these "Affidavits". The Judges knew all these. Trump felt because he appointed most of them, they would fight for him. When the judges you appointed are throwing out your cases left and right - then maybe, just maybe they are bogus. |
