Hello,
I graduated from Conestoga college and now reside in Canada. I would like to answer questions about Canadian schooling and the immigration process, do ask if u need info. Thanks
After your masters, did u apply for a study permit extension or a post graduate work permit?

Hello guys,
Update as regards my TRV application. I have been able to buy a bank draft of $10,000 CAD(that is for living expenses for the first academic year) with the help of my brother in Canada...And i just sent the bank draft and my tuition receipt to CIC as per the their latest request. Does any1 have an idea how long it will take for them to reply me abeg cos i dn tire for the whole matter.... 8 months already since i applied. sad sad sad sad sad sad sad
Seriously... 8months or u are exaggerating?
Anyways it won't take long again, it took them exactly two weeks to reply that my study permit has been approved after fulfilling the additional requirements.

Na was for you ooooo. I quoted you to call Olamide on this thread to book your flight at cheaper rate to any destination in Canada you did not. I always advice people from here to follow threads of sucx. If you know @folaroyal on this thread you won't waste time to contact who he gave to us to always book a flight with. Olamide works for quantum travel and tour at ikoyi Lagos. They are trusted and tested. Gbam. Congrats on ur trv.
I mailed olamide but it wasn't as cheep as the one I got in travel start, Egypt Air to be precise .

Do you mean u paid your fees and had your expenses in your dorm account here in Nigeria? Is that it? Did u also get reference letter from your bank?

I didn't get a reference letter from my bank since there was no need. I paid the one year fees and 8000 living expenses in my student account since CBN policy says I can't use formA to pay more than 15,000usd. The balance I put in my dorm acct and I printed the bank statement.

I applied in 2015. It took about 90 days to receive my approved passport.

Remember my dear friend that the average Visa Processing time has been increased from that time period by another average 51days todays (141 average processing time).

In God we trust. It's well be patient.
I have had friends who were delayed same way as you but today are in Canada studying.

When the trials come don't give in but give all.

If you aren't prayerful it's a good time to become.

*note: average

Am sorry I don't get, did u just say that after ur visa has been approved that is ur passport has been stamped it took u 90days(3 months) to get the passport back?

Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Edilanco: 9:42pm On May 16, 2017
Banks don't issue draft in convertible currency anymore and u can't open a Canadian bank account since u haven't had ur study permit yet, so u can go for the last option of putting the money in your account and attaching the cbn circular or better still u can pay ur one year fees to the school
