Hello folks, pls am really stranded right now the school I was supposed to use in applying for my study permit just sent me a mail telling me they can't process my application for this year September that I have to wait till next year( Durham college) September for that particular course. I have avoided universities because I don't know how to go about getting supervisors. Please can anyone help me secure a supervisor for January admission am seriously getting tired of surfing the internet without any success. Some people here are really good at these things. Or if I could get any PGD in any school that offers any biology related course. Please I need help time is running out for January admissions. Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm a new member... I submitted my application on the 9th of March via online route, did biometrics the next day. But I've not heard anything from them. They've sent mail like 2ce that there's no update yet. I've also checked my account, nothing too.
So my question is this: does it usually take this long for a feedback? Or is there someone here that submitted similarly to mine or paper route and has gotten a response? Thank you
You are not alone paper route MSc....

Thanks Lakola.
I also applied to Manitoba but my application was declined.

I would like to know what i did wrongly compared to what you did right.
Although i submitted my application 19th Dec, 2016 before d deadline Jan05, 2017.

Could this pribably be this reason for the denial.
Lakola, kindly fix your mobile number so i could contact you for proper communication.

Thank you

Manitoba as a province is a good place and attractive to foreigners, meanwhile uni.manitoba is very very competitive and only few available seats of 30-40 are available for applicants, depending on the faculty/dept. some canadian universities don't admit much applicants especially for research masters program making admission selection a survival of the fittest.

Good day proficient experts on this platform..
Please does the new cic policy that one must pay entire tuition fee and show a sum of money available in Canada for the first year..

Please does it affect those that get funding? Because a friend of my recently got funding of $19,000 at university of Saskatchewan that covers his tuition and living expenses for the first year.

Secondly, I am a fresh first class graduate (cgpa of 4.71 of 5.00). I will like to apply to university of Toronto due to the availability of guarantee funding that covers tuition and living expenses of 15,500 for the first year.
