Nigeria is one 'great' country. Disasters have to happen b4 we profer solutions. So we never needed this scanner had this incidence not happened. Just as the VP is just summoning a 'meeting' to 'rescue' the retrenchment situation on the Banks after about 4,000 employees have lost their jobs in the Nations most-engaging sector. Yet yesterday we heard another 800 had joined the un-employed from Oceanic Bank. In Nigeria, the word PROACTIVE exists but only in written form. Biuldings will collapse b4 we set up a committee to enforce regulation on the standards of buildings; People will die in accidents b4 we call for special FEC meetings to approve and award contracts for road rehabilitation; Cholera outbreak will occur and thousands die b4 we will think of providing portable water for our citizens; Less than 10% of our students will pass entrance exams b4 there is a call of the overhaul of the educational sector; The list goes on and on, We need our own Mandela, Ghandi, Nyerere, Nkurumah, or even Obama, for these times. |

Behind bobo:This is exactlywhat I hate about this forum. People think that cos they have internet access they can post anything to anyone at anytime. Keyboard happy pple. To offer an advise is one thing, but to conclude without facts is another. Wisdom has it that, it is only a bad businessman that does not bargain. I do not have the time to take on forumites. It is quite close to meaningless!!! THANX Y'ALL FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS. |

There has always been two sides to a coin. Perspectives would always be as many as the different faces that exist. Today it is PHB. Tomorrow it will be another. My issue here is dat PHB is not doing badly if rated with her likes. If u doubt me, then begin another forum on poor services using another bank or organisation instead of PHB. The only problem PHB has is catching up with that superlative impression her adverts have built in the minds of the people who walk in thru her doors. The poor services complained of in this forum are abound in other banks. So do we blame PHB for showing us what to expect of them while they r working to get there. Personally I have received poor quality services from eateries, bars, banks, fuel stations etc where they make u feel priviledged for patronising them. The people who meted out these wrongness on us did not fall from the moon. They r our brothers, uncles, sisters, aunts, cousins etc. It only shows how we treat ourselves once we r not the ones at the receiving end. |
