Hi everyone,
I will be brief with my write up.I have a female friend who is planning to relocate to Canada. So yesterday evening she called to tell me she was bothered by what her agent told her concerning her traveling plan.
The agent said she will have to travel to Canada for six months first as a business woman then she will later come back and finally relocate permanently. The reason the agent use to justify this was that her #5 million naira is not enough to relocate permanently to Canada. That for her to relocate permanently she must have #15m upward.
I just need detail explanation on how it works when traveling to Canada and hopefully he is not using tourist visa for her since he is aware she doesn't know much about traveling.
I need the views and opinions of pple who had been to Canada or have traveling experience.

This is not true. Age is not required for you to get a job in most countries as long as you are not looking old and impaired . Many Nigerians in usa, Canada, uk, UAE are working with Nigerian degrees including me. So this myth of they don’t recognize Nigerian degree is a lie. BSC from Lasu with 3 years experience from KPMG, access bank, Nestle will get job in usa or Canada faster than a Nigerian that did msc in usa or Canada but has no tangible work experience. You can go to LinkedIn and verify . Nigerian nurses and Doctors in Uk are they not using Degrees from Nigeria I know people who entered tech and nursing in their late 30s and 40s and are cashing out today in same abroad. But if your field has lots of available indigenes they may take them over you. So na to be strategic and wise:

Please i will like to know if having an uncle or aunt that is a citizen in Canada will add to an applicants CRS score. While I regularly hear that only siblings and direct family members can add points, I saw on the Canadian website and some forums that an Aunt or Uncle can also give additional points. I would appreciate some clarity on this.

Aunt and uncle can only give you points towards eligibility which is 5 points ( to be eligible your points have to be 67 and above. With a good ielts, age, degree most people are able to cross the 67 points easily. But for crs scores zero points
