Between those educational programmes and the big brother Naija show which one pulls more traffics. The latter of course. Unfortunately, the media have been commercialised to the extent they no longer give a damn. The corporate organisation, nowadays, are only interested on those programmes that pulls traffics and inturn promote their brand. |

Politics / Karma? Old Tweet of Poultry Farmer Whose Farm Was Demolished. by edogu(m): 5:57pm On Sep 09 |
Kaduna activist/politician, Ndi Kato, has dug up an old tweet of an Abuja-based poultry farmer whose farm was demolished by FCDA officials, supporting demolitions of properties in Lagos. On Sunday September 8, Bankole took to his X handle to cry out after some officials in Abuja stormed his farm and destroyed it ‘’without any prior notice''. According to him, his farm worth N150 million was destroyed with 5000 birds killed and 50 persons rendered unemployed. While some Nigerians took to his comment section to express their sympathy, Ndi ran a search and discovered that Bankole had supported the demolition of properties in Lagos state. Back in May this year, Bankole praised the Lagos state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunboh Wahab, for demolishing properties blocking water channels and causing flooding in the state. See Ndi Kato’s tweet below… https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2024/9/politician-ndi-kato-digs-up-old-tweet-of-man-whose-poultry-farm-was-demolished-by-the-fcda-supporting-demolition-of-properties-in-lagos.html 1 Like

Politics / We Were Warned In 2015 by edogu(m): 9:25am On Aug 05 |
He warned us about the outcome of our decision in 2015. We're back to square one. Everything seems to going upside down. Before 2015, a bag of cement wasn't up 1500. Today it's something else. I remember buying a paint of bean for not up to 900. Today, a paint of beans is now hovering between 8000 and 10,000 depending on your area. Jumbo bread was between 400 and 500. Today it's now between 1700 and 2000. I remember buying 25kg bag of foreign rice for 9000 (2018). Today, it's between 35,000 and 40,000. Before the election in 2023, series of debate were organised for various candidates to present their opinions but a particular candidate kept dodging from the debate. When he eventually made himself available for an interactive interview with journalist and the Nigerian in diaspora at the Chatham House, veritable questions were thrown at him, yet he dodged them. Today, he is now our president. Bishop Oyedepo, before the election, made it clear that Nigerians have short memories. In other words, we tend forget quickly. Those who forget history tend to repeat the same mistake. The American political debate between Trump and President Biden provided the American people every evidence that President Biden is not fit to contest for the presidential election. Today, he has been replaced by his Vice President. It's well. This is just the second year and we still have six years and half months to go. May God to sustain us in this trying times. 1 Like

Politics / Re: We Owe This Man An Apology. by edogu(m): 9:03am On Aug 02 |
OPICANTO2223:Goodluck was never a politician. He was favoured by fate. Remember, he was a lecturer ( I stand to be corrected) before he was picked up to serve as the Deputy Governor. He was yet to acclimatise with his position when he was picked to be the Vice President. He was yet to adapt to the position of Vice President, when his boss, late President Yardua, passed on. For such position as the President of Nigeria, you need to have not just the experience but the heart to govern difficult country like Nigeria. Those inexperience and inability to take 'fully charge' of his position was considered weak. But what we couldn't remove from him is the fact that he was a listening President. 1 Like |

Politics / Re: We Owe This Man An Apology. by edogu(m): 6:00am On Aug 02 |
Horus:So, what's the difference between what he did and what the current administration is currently doing? They called him all sorts of names just to be in power. He even made an attempt to remove fuel subsidy but people who are currently in power worked against him indirectly using protest. Indeed we owe him an apology. |
