Politics / Karma? Old Tweet of Poultry Farmer Whose Farm Was Demolished. by edogu(m): 5:57pm On Sep 09
Kaduna activist/politician, Ndi Kato, has dug up an old tweet of an Abuja-based poultry farmer whose farm was demolished by FCDA officials, supporting demolitions of properties in Lagos.

On Sunday September 8, Bankole took to his X handle to cry out after some officials in Abuja stormed his farm and destroyed it ‘’without any prior notice''. According to him, his farm worth N150 million was destroyed with 5000 birds killed and 50 persons rendered unemployed.

While some Nigerians took to his comment section to express their sympathy, Ndi ran a search and discovered that Bankole had supported the demolition of properties in Lagos state.

Back in May this year, Bankole praised the Lagos state Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunboh Wahab, for demolishing properties blocking water channels and causing flooding in the state.

See Ndi Kato’s tweet below…

This is a new one. Didn't know it was possible to employ armed security from DSS as a private person
I believe he meant local vigilante. Not to man the shop but to inform them of what's happening. Believe me it will go a long way to help.

I was using Eversend initially and the charge was always around 1690, someone told me about Providus card and gave me a contact.

I chatted the person up and he asked for the normal docs required for opening account in Nigeria.

I was charged 5k for they card.
You must make a 100k deposit that you can withdraw anytime.
Thank you

The card was delivered to me via DHL

It was from the 100k that they deducted their 5k charge for the card.

I have used it twice this week and the rates is fair.

Chat him up. 09059000627
Thank you!

Politics / We Were Warned In 2015 by edogu(m): 9:25am On Aug 05
He warned us about the outcome of our decision in 2015.

We're back to square one. Everything seems to going upside down.

Before 2015, a bag of cement wasn't up 1500. Today it's something else.

I remember buying a paint of bean for not up to 900. Today, a paint of beans is now hovering between 8000 and 10,000 depending on your area.

Jumbo bread was between 400 and 500. Today it's now between 1700 and 2000.

I remember buying 25kg bag of foreign rice for 9000 (2018). Today, it's between 35,000 and 40,000.

Before the election in 2023, series of debate were organised for various candidates to present their opinions but a particular candidate kept dodging from the debate. When he eventually made himself available for an interactive interview with journalist and the Nigerian in diaspora at the Chatham House, veritable questions were thrown at him, yet he dodged them.

Today, he is now our president. Bishop Oyedepo, before the election, made it clear that Nigerians have short memories. In other words, we tend forget quickly. Those who forget history tend to repeat the same mistake.

The American political debate between Trump and President Biden provided the American people every evidence that President Biden is not fit to contest for the presidential election. Today, he has been replaced by his Vice President.

It's well. This is just the second year and we still have six years and half months to go. May God to sustain us in this trying times.

In all, you are right but to me, he is the major cause of this mess in Nigeria. If you are not a politician, why not listen to Obasanjo, etc that saw the danger , called him but he refused before they team up together to fight him
The same people who teamed up against him later apologise directly or indirectly when the evil they foisted on Nigerians boomerang. It's well.

How exactly?

Jonathan was a "woman president".
Patience.....
Deziani.....
Okonjo .....
Patricia....
Etc...
Women controlled his administration.

Jonathan would have been the best if he had chosen a cleric work, like pastor.

Weakest president ever! No action!
Jonathan was never a politician but opportunist.
Sentiments apart, Jonathan contributed to the deterioration of Nigeria. What BAT is facing right now is an accumulation of problems from the past.
He was an opportunist but favoured by fate. I agree to the fact that he was never a politician.

OPICANTO2223:

Not what I mean. His weakness made APC to toppled him. He don't realize the power he has as a president. He was advised not to give INEC chairman to a northern man , he foolishly did despite getting two names from Senate for the post.

He seeded all important positions to the north against all warnings. All this make them to caged and bundled him back to Otuoke. What a foolish man him be. His weakness turned this nation to this problem
Goodluck was never a politician. He was favoured by fate. Remember, he was a lecturer ( I stand to be corrected) before he was picked up to serve as the Deputy Governor. He was yet to acclimatise with his position when he was picked to be the Vice President. He was yet to adapt to the position of Vice President, when his boss, late President Yardua, passed on.

For such position as the President of Nigeria, you need to have not just the experience but the heart to govern difficult country like Nigeria.

Those inexperience and inability to take 'fully charge' of his position was considered weak. But what we couldn't remove from him is the fact that he was a listening President.

Apology has no formal place in criminal law. Imagine a funds looter saying: Stealing is Not Corruption
So, what's the difference between what he did and what the current administration is currently doing? They called him all sorts of names just to be in power. He even made an attempt to remove fuel subsidy but people who are currently in power worked against him indirectly using protest. Indeed we owe him an apology.

If you are using access Bank, you might have to check your present pay slip and check the account number, if possible make use of the old account number u were using. I just knew this problem is currently synonymous with access Bank users
Using old account number has some implications. The old account number can't be used for salary.
