If you can't find one, make one. Some of the businesses you see today started because someone saw a gap, discovered a solution to it and boom it became a business. You may be surprised to see Chinese who are interested. |
Bahamas95:I still remember that username. |
It's because he has no palatable choice. ![]() |
The transfer market is officially open. ![]() |
When I joined Nairaland back in 2009, one of the things that always kept me coming back was the variety of interesting topics from different fields. You could see different threads about cars, dogs, fashion, DIY tips, entertainment, and then our usual politics making it to the front page. There was always something fresh and engaging to read and honestly, it made the platform addictive in a good way. I even convinced my dad and younger brother to join because of how interesting it was. I still remember one particular ASUU strike period when I was already running my Master’s programme at Uniport. My dad would always tell me he had read one update or another about the strike on Nairaland. That was how relevant and informative the platform was back then. But along the line, politics started dominating the Nairaland front page. Many of the stories pushed there began to look biased. At some point, I even wondered whether Seun was actually seeing some of the things the moderators were doing. Even some topics outside politics no longer added any real value to readers. You would see fellow Nairalanders asking questions like, “Who actually pushed this to the front page?” It gradually stopped feeling like the lively and balanced Nairaland many of us originally signed up for. Recently though, I’ve started noticing some really good changes. I’m seeing more interesting stories from different sections again sports, animals, lifestyle, and other engaging topics. The moment I noticed that, I genuinely felt happy because it reminded me of the old Nairaland that made me create an account in the first place. Thank you, Seun. I sincerely hope this continues. |
My prayer has always been let nothing put asunder between myself and my family members. Most time family issues are due greed, injustice and unfairness. If you are man, if possible, ensure you write your will. ( That’s if you have something to will to your children). As parents, we should learn to treat our children equally and separate sentiment from emotions. We learn to sow the seed of unit always. It's very important. |
Report reaching you. As what ? As the chief information desk officer. ![]() |
He should back to his acting. ![]() |
Congratulations to him. Courage and boldness have paved way for him. |
Does it mean he was looking for modern slaves when his company's complained about inability to engage 500 workers? ![]() |
What goes around comes around. The same Oshiomhole sided the Senate President against Seriaki Dickson on the new electoral law using the same standing order. ![]() |
They should keep deceiving themselves. This is the point where you wish you still have a president like Olusegun Obasanjo. |
This is the right thing to do. |
The 5 term, therefore, is to go and make more money. ![]() |
Una see wetin I dey talk. The insecurity is too much and it's as if nobody's incharge. |
APC should better watch it. Something big is coming. You are free to dispute this but if you have paused and paid attention to what's happening on the street, you'll definitely understand. The level insecurity, unemployment and hunger keep increasing. |
What happens to engaging an intern and repositioning them in line with the company's vision. Again, what efforts have they made in visiting some of our training institutions such as the business schools. This is because there's no way we can progress if our curriculum doesn't align with the global standards. Even if the information are there on the Internet, you still need someone to guide you. You equally need the resources as these certifications are not easy. He was able start moniepoint because he was Nigeria, young and smart. There're others like him. What they need is guidance, sponsors, positive mindset and the opportunity to thrive. Opportunity equally includes the environment. |
Coming from someone who had to collapse because of allegation of fraud. ![]() |

Banky W would have done better than this guy. He should go and face his acting career. Not too young to run. Just look at them. |

As at that time , there was no petition against the formation of the party until news about Obi and Kwakwanso trying to join the party. When you are big, you're big. ![]() |
In my state, the sons of David Umahi and Anyim Pius Anyim are contesting for local government chairmanship and state House assembly respectively. |

You can depending on type of public yards. Growing up, we were living in a flat. However, during evening time many of us will come out to play either football, oga, square, boreress, chase ourselves. There was still rooms for privacy. But if you are referring to face me I face you type, it is possible but it depends on several factors. If you're the type of parents with strict values and norms, it is possible as far as the parents are always there to monitor and observe their kids. Where there's lapses ensure that they are controlled before it escalates. I've seen people who raised their kids in such environment and today some of them are now living their own apartments. But if you have the means, I don't subscribe to such arrangement. There's a high tendency of exposing your family to certain behaviours especially if the convenience and other facilities are made open to everyone |
Nigerian police are one of the most heartless police in the world. |
The political transfer market will soon open. Political agents for aggrieved members, especially in APC, will be scouting for suitable club ( party) for their Politicians. I pray ADC succeed since they look promising. Even if ADC fails to win the presidential, Nigeria still needs a formidable opposition in large numbers especially at the house. The reason the ruling party keeps getting away with certain things is because not only are they in majority but leaders at both Senate and House that can easily bend to their demands. You need opposition that will scrutinise their policies for the greater good. Just look at how loans get easily approved without any attempt to check the implications on the common man. |
Why didn't Umahi not complain about consensus when they nominated his son for chairmanship position? ![]() |
