The university management should engage in businesses that will help them generate extra funding. Most universities have nursery , primary and secondary schools , what about the funds they generate through their pre-degree programs , the money they make from post UME exams , other sundry charges to the student . Come on ! Our university mgmt are effing lazy and lack things upstairs.

They're already doing that. What I'm saying is if government fails to do their part, universities may have to increase fees. Ofcourse, you know the implications.

It’s still very poor, unless they have to increase their school fees. With the recent agreement between ASUU and the Federal Government, a professor in a federal university earns around 700k, while their counterparts in some state universities earn between 400k and 500k. That’s really poor for someone who has spent almost 25 years in the system.

I sincerely want to thank the people of Osun State. This is not the first time they have set this kind of example. You may recall that the successful deployment of result upload in the gubernatorial election in Osun in 2021 gave people hope that the 2022 election would be more transparent.

This time around, they have set another good example. I only hope that next year’s election will be even better.
