Benin's do not worship Obatala. Ogun and Olokun are Benin gods. Oba Ewuare 1 was known as Prince Ogun before he was crowned and he was a great warrior. It will help you a lot if you do a proper research on Ife, how could Ife be 100 Yrs old before benin and Oduduwa sent one of his son's (Oromiyan) to Benin? SMH!!!

The very day Awolowo disrespected Oba Akenzua that was the day he signed his death warrant and later ended up committing suicide. The Governor can never be superior to the OBA, in this life and in the next life. Obaseki's family is a palace chief and so the child of one who kneels to greet the Oba every morning can never be greater than the Oba his father respects.
