I don't know what to contribute, it's funny arguing about this issue. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Nigeria was worth 486.80 billion US dollars in 2015. The GDP value of Nigeria represents 0.79 percent of the world economy. GDP in Nigeria averaged 86.50 USD Billion from 1960 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 546.70 USD Billion in 2014 ... The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Kenya was worth 63.40 billion US dollars in 2015. The GDP value of Kenya ... https://tradingeconomics.com/kenya/gdp |

Rossikki: We are making giant strides that will DWARF whatever Kenya is doing. Kenya has nothing as extensive and sophisticated as the current $12 billion Lagos-Calabar project.
We need to pay attention to what the govt is doing in terms of projects. There is a push towards infrastructural development. Trouble is people here spend so much time fighting ethnic battles, watching BBN, following celebrities, actresses etc, that they've no clue what the govt is doing, or what projects are going on on the ground. We have been signing rail, mining , refinery , power and what not projects since the first tenure of Obasanjo, what tangible results do we have to show for all these ? Apart from privately sponsored projects like those of Dangote, there's no assurance that the govt funded ones will be completed. Look at the River state monorail for example, it's turning out to be one of the whitest Elephant projects in this country's history |

Lana1: What about all the constant UCL quaifications?? Doesn't that count Of course for teams like Man Utd, Tottenham and Liverpool who finish outside top four in modern football, UCL qualification counts. But you have to understand Arsenal expects more. @Spy360I agree with your list of players who should stay. I think we should add Perez and Welbeck to the stay list. As for the leave list, I'm still not sure about Walcott. May be it's because he has been here so long. Add Giroud |

If you want your state to be like Lagos then stop: i. Religious extremism ii. Militancy iii. Terrorism iv. Kidnapping v. Hostile business policies vi. Mafia-like state govts
These are just a few of the problems plaguing the places that are complaining about Lagos stealing their business. |

Anyway, media noise can't change the reality on ground and wouldn't stop any apprehended culprits from being PROPERLY treated as the law demands. Because you are ignorant and can be easily manipulated like sheep , you fail to ask what a Dane gun is. For your information there is no village in Nigeria where you won't find at least 50 of those. They are used for hunting. When would the Nigerian Army stumble on the Marauding Fulani militia and their AK 47 rifles ? |

Politics › Benue State Commissioner Accused Of Theft In China by edoyad(op): 7:38am On Apr 19, 2017 |
The rumour running the mills is that a commissionerr was caught in the act in China though no one can give exact derails. The rumour is so strong that the governor had to come out to deny it. But like they say, no smoke... Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has dismissed reports that a commissioner who accompanied him to Guangzhou in China for the First Nigeria-China Governors’ Investment Forum was caught stealing.
The governor was accompanied to the forum by two commissioners, Professor Dennis Ityavyar of Education, Science and Technology and Dr. Tersoo Kpelai of the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, one of which was reported to have itchy fingers.
Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Terver Akase, was also on the entourage. Responding through Akase, the governor said the report “is a figment of the reporter’s imagination and should accordingly be dismissed.
“We wish to urge Benue people to disregard the falsehood being peddled on social media by members of the opposition that a Benue commissioner has been arrested in China.
“Nothing of the sort happened in Guangzhou where the First Nigeria-China Governors’ Investment Forum is currently taking place or in any other part of China.
“It is unfortunate that instead of focusing on constructive and purposeful ways of engaging the present administration, the opposition party in Benue State has resorted to blatant lies and cheap blackmail.”
