This tax was suspended due to it negative impact on the a very competitive market we are competition with other stable Africa Nation . With this 10 percent leading to lost of over 600 bn naira by diaspora investor and FPi who normally send FX inflow. How it will affect the Naira Maturing Treasury bill by FPi and Diaspora will now convert back to US at an accelerated rate leading to collapse in Value of the Nara . sholatech: He is not taxing the treasury bills. He is going to tax the GAINS from the short-term treasury bills sales. The aim is for the FDIs to stay longer and not be doing hot money flows all the time. Trade in treasury bills for longer terms and get tax waivers. Trade for shorter terms and pay capital gains tax on your gains/profits. I am in support of this, professionally and for the good of our Nation so the funds stay longer in-country FPI by design are short term money coming into Money market and not FDI which stay longer . The source Location for FPI are Max 1 year due to risk associated with Investment in weak Africa countries like Sudan and Nigeria Imagine all the FDI ,FPI in Sudan . Adedeji competence is currently in question As Majority of his work experience is in Govt work and they normally fest on other persons effort . Why would any FPI invest in Nigeria Treasury bill and be Tax WHT after collecting VAT ,bank charges ,commission and risk of Devaluation. |

With the fragile recovery FIRS Adedeji is about implementing a 10 percent tax on treasury bills . Making it unattractive for FPI you bring in million of USD to invest in such debt instruments Other Nation still have Tax waivers . Treasury bill rate in Nigeria are currently in negative return but the FIRS want to tax a negative real return at profit . Is that Madness and deinventive I call on president to Half FIRS before they destroy the economic recovery. Short term instrument are for Liquidity management, FX inflow etc. Not a source of FGN revenue |

Kaliningrad: This is for the hot heads in the US and Europe who think they have a slight chance of surviving a nuclear war with Russia.
Before the start of a nuclear war, Russia can launch about 100 of this missile. Because they're powered by a nuclear reactor, they can circle the globe for 30 years while waiting for the last U.S survivors (President, VP, Chief Of Defense and other top military brass) to come out of their underground bunkers.
Then it strikes them again. The Americans were getting too confident that their President can wait out a nuclear war... Well this missile can wait even longer. And when they're out of their secret bunkers.... BOOM!!! Another bright red flash. The last thing they'll ever see.
Checkmate ✅ Am disappointed with Russia claims they can't finish up small Ukraine na america and NATO |

Geeprince1: Hi everyone, I really need your advice. I have an OND and HND in Accounting, but someone once advised me not to stop at HND. So I went on to earn a B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance, and by God’s grace, I also completed an MBA in the same field. Currently, I’m pursuing my ICAN certification, and I recently got a job that pays ₦450,000 per month. However, the workload is extremely demanding, it’s literally Monday to Monday, and even when I work tirelessly, the tasks just keep piling up. I’m an accounting professional with strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and various accounting software, but lately, the job has started taking a toll on my health. Constant laptop use has affected my eyesight, caused back pain and poor posture, and I often feel mentally and physically exhausted. I can’t even prepare to read for my ICAN exams or study on weekends because of the constant body aches. Now I’m at a crossroads, should I quit this job and look for a lower-paying but less stressful one, or should I hang on until I secure a good federal government job or top private firm? For context, I leave home by 6:00 AM and don’t get back until around 9:30 PM daily, and remote work isn’t an option. Please, I’d really appreciate your honest advice. sub contract the Job for 50k per month to reduce work load |

RayRay06677: Treasury bills (T-bills) in Nigeria are now subject to taxation following the expiration of a previous tax exemption order. The interest earned is subject to a 10% withholding tax (WHT) for corporate entities, while individuals are exempt from this tax, although corporate income tax may still apply.
Please note that individuals are tax free on Tbills. individuals investing through First bank or All banks Cos the guy complaining invested via GTB |

SpecialAdviser: There is no bitter and honest truth in it. I dont know why many of you clap at every statement without deep research about it. Monogamy seems troublesome now because many of us never witnessed polygamy in practice. Every type of marriage comes with its own drama, you cannot just believe one is so perfect.
Below are some of the insights. For every marriage, three major parties are involved. Father, mother and children. Polygamy may look like benefiting men but the mothers and their children will be getting the hits.
1) Father: Yes options for sex. Options for loyalty etc 2) Children; Except the father is rich, may drop out of school. May witnessed constant problems at home, quarrels and envy most times. Go to northern Nigeria and see their kids. With all the money they steal in government, still the most backward region. There can never be a man that loves two women equal! Even God does nit love us equal. If not why did He chose Israel those days in the bible. Why was DAVID His friend? For as long as you cannot love those wives equal, trouble sets in and the kids get the hits.
3) Mothers: Lack of attention, Unhealthy competition, Sometimes lacking sex, Their husbands gets the licenses to honourably chase women since they can bring in another wife. Go to Abuja and see how Alhajis chases young girls for sex. I have seen first wives suffer in Kano state and wonder if polygamy worts it. It looks like its succeeding in the north because most of the women are uneducated and religion also used to calm them. If your child drops out of school, its the will of God. My dad was born into a polygamous home. Very brilliant man. They called him uneducated professor but he never went to school. I still thank God my dad did not bring in another woman to compete with my mum all the time they had issues. It would have been a disaster. I would never have been educated and will still be suffering now. People are blind sha
Summarily, Its only selfish for men to believe their sexual satisfaction and attention is enough for marriages. Do you think of being born into polygamous homes? Most of us would not have attained our heights Most tich people will always make polygamy look perfect until you get into it as a poor man. you have been brain washed by Europeans.Polygamy bad Gay good Polygamy is a Natural order It help women breed We not have a pandemic of well trained unmarried sisters |

Brendaniel: First, is it normal?, secondly do you have any evidence to prove that?
Thirdly, does the constitution permit civil servants to do side hustles aside from farming?
and finally if the civil servant is unable to get a land close by to his house, should he and his family starve to death because the FG refused to pay them well?
please answer all these questions if you are replying me, I hate arguing with irrational thinkers... when the Nigeria state pay 70k Minimum and post a Civil servant to Abuja where two bedrooms is 1.5m The Nigeria state has failed in it primary responsibility to demand civil servant come to work daily . The current pay only Last 1 week So they come to work ,8 days in Month Lagos State has reduced work days to 3 Kaduna 4 Kano 4 Katsina 3 They know they are paying impossible wages |

MatrixCircle: Stamer is a Public servant who uses Public funds for Public Good. Akpabio and kalu are corrupt politicians who believe Public funds are for personal good. Stamer is accountable to the British people. Akpabio and kalu are not accountable to anyone, no matter the amount of the treasury being looted. That's a little of the comparison. it not about you is accountable or not . One UK worshipper say persons in old people home are living better than Nigeria senators. Him don't know who is a Nigeria senator. Boris Johnson was partying during COVID-19 lock down .Forget accountability you have been brains washed . Prince Andrew is also accountable |

MatrixCircle: That old people's home you talk about, are not cheap to live, most of them the old people pay upto £1000 ( 2 million naira) to stay there per week, so per month is about £4000 (8 million naira). How much does your senator pay for house rent in a month. I believe not upto 8 million naira. Also, in the UK 🇬🇧 there are labour laws that governs every job, that grass Cutter has a pension contribution which every employer must abide by, no one will embezzle his pension just like they do in Nigeria. His pension runs in £ one of the strongest currencies in the world. If he retires and decide to return home, his pension comes in £ while he is in Nigeria, his NHS medical treatment in case of any health challenges is still there, he may decide to fly back in UK 🇬🇧 and see his Doctor for free but your President and governors will pay millions of naira of tax payers money to access it. The grass Cutter will walk in for free. Story all this yarns are for Novice who never touch UK before with internet now everything is Very Clear . Less than 1 percent of working population make 8k in the UK Doctor in the UK are always protesting pay 2300 and Japing to Australia. Reforms UK is gain ground and English defense league just know you cannot be British enough even Kemi is about to be kick out Majority of pensioners are on 1000 pounds pay and struggling NHS is crumbling and wait time for surgery and dental care is endless unlike Najia you have your money treatments happens Hope you heared the story of a Nigeria woman that drug her daughter to sleep so she can work .If na Nija neighbors dey ,sister dey sense of Communal living Don't compare Nigeria senator to British grasss cutter he lives a High Class life even the British PM can only dream of . You can go to sleep without worrying about bandits, armed robbery, kidnappers invading your house or receiving a phone call for ransome payment. The best schools for children in the UK are free. The same kind of international school the wealthy in Nigeria send thier kids and pay 10 million naira pay term. All those British international schools in Abuaj and Lagos, that grass Cutter in Uk his children attend it for free. That same grass cutter his children will get UK 🇬🇧 passport in future and become British citizens. That passport cannot be bought with 1 billion Naira. Dangote with all his wealth can't buy it.
