We are looking for a facility in Lagos where we can machine clean seeds like sesame seeds and soybean seeds. If anyone knows any of such facility, we would appreciate such information. Thanks and God bless. |
I weep for my beloved Nigeria. The man in the street has been told to tighten his belt because of the austere times we have found ourselves in. However most governors on both sides of the political divide are carrying on like there was no tomorrow. |
Curiouscity:@Curiouscity.... Very typical indeed! Trust cynics to rear their ugly minds at every turn! |

Hi NK - Love!!! What a wonder "kid" you are. You have given me more than I can chew with the list above. I believe by the time I get through the list I will have more than enough firms to deal with. Presently, am looking at Halifax. Will get back to you. Will give you a call as soon as I make any discovery. Meanwhile thanks a zillion for sharing. Much regards. Educitti |
@nk-love: It has happened again. Mid way into the account opening process, Sogotrade removed Nigeria the drop-down list of countries to which accounts can be opened for her citizens. Another door closed in my face. Any other suggestions please? |
@nk-love: Thank you so very much for your post. I am currently checking out Sogotrade. I will try opening a brokerage account with them since the company is a member of both FINRA and SIPC. You mentioned you have an account with them. That suggests you trade the American markets. Is there any way we could "get together" to share ideas. My email address is chiedunwagbo@yahoo.com. Thanks once again for the info. |
Hi Arthur2k5! Thanks once again for your response to my enquiry. I visited Panda's website. It turned they only offer managed funds where you subscribe to a mutual fund-like package which they manage and pay you interest or whatever. However what I am actually looking for is an online stock brokerage that will enable me do my own research, buy and sell individual stocks as I please. More like a self directed account. |
Arthur2k5! Thanks a mil for your reply. Will visit and study the site and then get back to you via your email address. Thanks once again. |
Happy New Year Nlanders!! I trust you all had a beautiful a holiday. Please I need information on how I can open an online brokerage account to trade on stocks quoted on the American stock exchanges. I recently completed the online application on TD Ameritrade site only to be informed that owing to regulatory reasons the can not open accounts for residents of Nigeria. One or two other brokerages said the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas please. |
