The APC led federal government, since inception has made a lot of noteworthy history for itself by making Nigeria the top leading nation in the following area's.... 1. Nigeria (with a population of around 200milion people) have overtaking India (with a population of 1.4 billion people) as the country with the highest number of people living with extreme poverty. Nigeria has over 86 million people living in poverty compared to India's 79 billion, for a country that is 8 times our population size & not up to a third of our mineral resources. 2. Not only did we overtake India in the area of poverty, we also have overtaken them as the country with the highest number of out of school children (dropouts). *How Did We get Here?* 3. Nigeria has been listed as the No. 1 most dangerous place to travel to & live in the world due to the unabated spate of killings and terrorism by faceless herdsmen and Boko Haram Terrorist. In the last 3 years since the onset of the APC led federal government, Nigeria has lost more citizens to Herdsmen killings than Nations fighting civil war, yet, *Our APC Led federal government could deploy over 30,000 policemen for the sake of an election.* How Did We Get Here? 4. Nigeria, which was the fastest growing economy in the world before the APC led Federal Government took power, is now the worst economy in the world. To be precise Nigeria now is the world place for investors to do business in the world, as a result of the various anti-economy policies of the government and most especially due to the harassment policies of the government to opposing views. Take for Example the recent happenings in IMO state, you would agree that *APC Led States Aren't Even Safe For Business.* Electricity distribution Company, EEDC disconnected Imo Govt House because they are owing electricity bill (over 200million). Next, IMSG marked EEDC building for demolition. (Remove within 7days) *Now, you can see why major business like P&G & Others are leaving Nigeria.* *How do We Move From Here?* Go get Your PVC, 2019 Is The Year. #PDP2019 For a greater Nigeria. *Comr. Obasi Chinedu* National Publicity Secretary For: *Alazigha Oweipa Emmanuel.* *National Leader, PDPCOYS* |
The emergence of a new faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) which emerged in Abuja today has been described as the beginning of the end for the ruling party according to the PDP Congress of Youth and Students (PDPCOYS). PDPCOYS reminds Nigerians that the All Progressive Congress (APC) were formed by a group of politicians, and selfish individuals who neither shared the same ideas, goals, objectives nor vision but rather, shared what they describe as a common enemy. This is the reason why the party has not been able to field any credible candidate for elections since its formation. Such Unions do not stay for long and as such, we expect them to crumble hard. The Reformed-APC (R-APC) led by its chairman, Buba Galadima is just the beginning of the end for a failed party. Last week was Saraki's Chief of Staff who dumped the party, today is the formation of a new faction. we still expect Other well meaning Nigerians still in the party, who still have a conscience and love for Nigeria to depart the sinking ship with their conscience still intact, before its too late. We call on all Nigerians to join the Youth Friendly and Purpose Driven Peoples Democratically Party (PDP), to reclaim the nation back from the hands of those without vision and put her back on the Road to glory. It is our collective responsibility. #PDP2019 to #SaveNigeria Comr. Obasi Chinedu National Publicity Secretary For: Alazigha Oweipa Emmanuel. Founder / National Leader PDPCOYS |

belovedsamex:With regards to your question, 1. Admission for OAU DE would commence after the Post UTME. that should be sometime in August, once the University decides to conduct. 2. To the best of my knowledge, Direct Entry students won’t participate in the Aptitude Test. They will, however, be subjected to a special administrative process. Direct Entry (DE) Candidates should ensure that their transcript is forwarded by the Awarding Institution to the Admission Office, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife for DE Admission processing. 3. For OAU Post UTME Applicants, get a free copy of the OAU Past questions, Check: https://nigerianuniversitynews.com/2015/08/obafemi-awolowo-university-oau-post-utme-past-questions-and-answers.html Still have any other question, ask and i'd do well to answer. |

akunna:let's wait till JAMB announces 2018 cut-off for Universities then, we would know if you meet the cut-off |
Rursh:I agree with you that the Cut-off might not be made public, but believe it when I say that If you go to the Faculty, you can get the cut-off mark there. Like I mentioned earlier, there is Concessional admission (connection) in Nigeria. its even legal. But the quota for merit would never be compromised |

Rursh:There are procedures for admission in Nigerian tertiary institutions and they are broken into 3 categories: Merit Catchment and ELDS and finally, there is something called Concessional admission (which you can describe as connection). if you meet the merit cut off for your year of admission, you MUST be admitted. to get the merit cut-off, go directly to the department or admission office of the institution. do not believe what you see on most websites. Many are largely untrue. The cut off this year might not be the cut off the next year. so if you know someone who had 300+ and 80+ and wasn't admitted, it could be down to the fact that the person didn't meet the cut off for that particular year. This doesnt mean that someone with a lower score cannot be admitted (via ELDS, Catchment or Concessional) but definitely not merit. to conclude what I mean, UNN's cut-off for 2008 was 265 but in 2014, it was 303. in 2015, it dropped down to 295. in other words, someone with 280 would be admitted in 2008, but not in 2014 or 2015. whereas, someone with 298 would not make it in 2014, but would make it in 2015. so merit Admission depends on cut off, which depends on performance that year. So, she definitely has a chance. its down to her post UTME performance. |
kathrah:surely, there is. UNILORIN's cut off for eligibility to write post UTME for Medicine in recent years used to be 240. so, with that remaining the same, you are eligible to write the post UTME. Prepare adequately for the post UTME and you would see admission smiling at you. |
Witsproject:Know that you actually dont have to pay to download the post UTME past questions of your school, unless we do not have it. On our portal, we have FREE Post UTME past questions for about 43 Tertiary Institutions and we are still adding more. You can check for these free past questions at: https://nigerianuniversitynews.com/2014/05/free-university-and-polytechnic-post-utme-past-questions-20142015.html Let us know if you do not find that of your institution and we would do our best to get them and add them. |

Students of Benue State Universitry, Markurdi yesterday in their hundreds took to the streets to protest the recent increment of fees by the management of the university. The protesting students at the early hours of yesterday, barricaded the main entrance of the institution, chased away the security personnel manning the institution’s gates and took over the Makurdi-Gboko road. The students who took over the entrance of the institution, even as they prevented any form of movements, in and out of the institution. One of the protesting students who commented said they are protesting to resist the new tuition regime recently introduced by the management of the institution. According to him, “how can the management of the university carry on as if they are not aware of the economic situation in the state and country, with the new policy the least fee payable in the school is N92,000 as against the former N56,000. Their action is the height of insensitivity.” He said. However, reacting to this, the Acting Registrar, Mrs. Catherine Bur blamed the protest on those she described as miscreants and not students of the school. https://nigerianuniversitynews.com/2018/05/bsum-students-protest-fee-increase.html

A student of Kogi State Origin, Miss Fatima BomBom Sani, who emerged the best graduating student at the 2015 Call to Bar examination of the Nigerian Law School has been granted a scholarship to the tune of Thirty-three million five hundred seventy-three thousand naira, by the executive governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello. This was made known last weekend, at the award ceremony at Government House Kogi state where the Governor Lamented the Lack of appreciation for Academic Excellence in modern day Nigeria. He said: “The case of Fatima Sani reminds me of how academic excellence has not been adequately rewarded in Nigeria. Imagine someone that bagged nine separate awards including Best Student of the Year and Council of Education Star Award, and nothing was done for her since 2015.” Talking to Fatima: “I heard about your exceptional performance at the Nigerian Law School in 2015 and assumed you were recognized and sponsored by the administration of the day. It’s unacceptable that such brilliance is not celebrated and promoted. “Nevertheless, now that your genuine self is before me, I shall grant you a personal scholarship to celebrate your exceptionalism and help your career-defining goals,” the governor said. https://nigerianuniversitynews.com/2018/05/kogi-state-student-gets-n33m-scholarship.html
