PoliticsRe: Emir Blames Failure In Neco On English Premier League by Edwinoh: 11:24am On Apr 07, 2010
those who see beyond the Emir's speech with their "mind's eye" understand his point ;if but we can commit the same time, energy and vigour to celebrate those who committed same to their personal lives to become stars and multi-millionaires a little of such in our career would producing outstanding results. The level of this "fan thing" is becoming quite alarming .I still believe only lazy and unproductive minds commit to this "League stuff" even the ant knows time is precious in building a castle

Sometimes i wonder if we where any different from our forefathers  whom while Europe and America where developing their countries and making outstanding leap in technology , where only giving time to the number of wives they could marry and the amount of gin they could consume per sitting. it only gave them "momentary joy" football no different as they present it to us today .Can anyone tell me why the things that will bring long term joy to us especially from these “whites” are not given to us freely but are concealed ? We advocate technology transfer yet they would not give to us .We should hastily not forget that while they give us “momentary joy” from football they have their scientist working tirelessly to make new strides .Africans wake up and don’t forget a man whose house is in disarray should think of a way of escape .Only those who have a third eye would understand what the emir's position on football   and the “fan thing” is. It is only targeted at wasting destinies in Africa especially as it has engulfed the youths like wildfire”. Same humans like us with one brain think of how to build those gigantic stadiums of theirs and organize the so called league matches.Time properly invested is destiny built. Let’s wake up from this “madness”
PoliticsSlave Trade Continues In Nigeria by Edwinoh(op): 1:37pm On Feb 10, 2010
I sat down not in a trance i recalled when i was in secondary school we were taught how the Portuguese and other European merchants came to our chiefs offered them gin, mirror clothes and in their "wisdom" gave out their subjects as slaves not bother about the treatment meted to them red hot iron to brand them for their masters. I visited Aba musuem and same story with evidence i was told again. In our thinking what was wrong with these chiefs(you could have felt same way too if you ever had such stories real as they were) what makes us better in this generation if for personal gains we loot the national treasury and for a morsel of meat we sell our resources to these americans and europeans and leave our loved ones in poverty are we in any way different from those chiefs?

Christianity EtcRe: A Us Or Uk Visa Secured; Is It Worth Testifying In Church As A Miracle? by Edwinoh(op): 7:42am On Feb 09, 2010
Agathamari i really do appreciate your contribution i think you really understand my point we dont need visa testimonies anymore but people whose minds are committed to making nigeria an "america" so that we will not only be judged by posterity as right thinking but we will be able to reverse the trend and make our country the most sought after. Those who have eyes let them see."Our elders will say what they sit and see a child standing will not see"

Americans and other developed countries have worked out a homely society for themselves despite the little resource they have compared to ours where we have them in abundance.I often marvel that nigerian christains go to church to testify of their securing a visa to developed countries as a miracle.Cant we make our society like theirs? Are we justified to continue testifying of visas as miracles?.I'm a christain so lets be objective. This issue specially for those whose minds see!
