ANSWER---I choose computer science because i have a growing passion with the computer technology and it is a rapid growth and i really want to study this course to expand my knowledge and use
my PASSION for my profession. MY COURSE IS {COMPUTER SCIENCE}.

i choose this particular university because of the good instinct moral they pass to their student and the practical’s they do on a daily Basics...

3 Why don't you do this course here in Nigeria?
I aim to be the best in what I do and to be the best, I need to get the best education I can possibly get which is in Salisbury University. Unfortunately there isn’t any school in my country that can offer me.

4--Why do you want to study in USA?
ANSWER-----I chose America because I believe the standard of education in the country is among the very highest in the world and I strongly believe that I will acquire quality education by going there”.

5 For which course are you going?
ANSWER-----I am going for Computer Science for the FALL Semester 2013 Session

: DO YOU HAVE SAT?-i did the SAT EXAM BUT RESULT DIDNT SHOW SO,I TO ME,IS JUST LIKE I DIDNT TAKE SO IT NO,BUT I DID THE TOEFL AND I HAVE MY RESULT BUT MY SCORE IS LOW...48 #SAD
ANSWER---NO, My SS3 subjects in my high-school transcripts and my SSCE were evaluated and because of my excellent performance in them since SS3 subjects are the core subjects, my department waived the SAT for me'.

Ricky Rozay: There is no Magic in getting dates. You just need to keep checking..

But let me give you some useful tips about the date stuff..

Check by 8am, 10am and 12pm.. Dates are opened mostly by this hour most especially by 10am in da morning.. That's hw many peeps got their dates here..

And also you need to keep ya heads up on this thread frequently, because peeps sometime alert everyone here when dates get available..

Also back to your second question, you will need to do more research about your course and know why you chose this course and let it reflect your personal aspiration. Speak in your own voice..

If you are confident on that day and know lots and lots about your course, the structure and core subjects, mehn dose VOs will dust their Hat for you mehn....

So let me give you some hint about your course..

Broo i Gat you and i really appreciate your response....it gonna Help...Well To be Frank and to be Honest with you bro....i am a computer literate and i love been on it alot and since i was in secondary skool i have make up my mind that COMPUTER SCIENCE WILL BE THE COURSE I WANT TO STUDY,But i dont know more about it,i will appreciate if you can tell me somethings i need to know about as i am a fast learner...But when i get to see the VO....All i have read will just get off my MIND..i think i am scared maybe because i am facing a white person,i can still face the females than the males...

Walspring: Always check for dates between 10am in the morning or you call the embassy care line by that time to book for date

bigfrancis21: Forget showing the VO the SAT registration ticket. It is the same as not writing it. It WON'T work for you. Go with what I've said when asked if you wrote SAT. After telling the VO what I've said then you add, 'but I took the TOEFL examination'.

If I may ask, what's your TOEFL score?

Okay Good,NO problem i will do exactly as you have said....My TOEFL SCORE IS 48....I didnt do any Tutorial,so i guess that was why my score is very poor.

bigfrancis21: From your two interviews, it is very clear your not writing the SAT nailed your chances. However, go this time with what I've told you as reason for not writing the test. You'll get it this time, I assure you.

As for likely questions that might come up, start reading the interview experiences posted on this thread since may. Visa interviews have changed somewhat in recent times and are not what you've been used to. So I suggest that you read them to get familiar with the likely questions that are now asked currently.

Okay Bro.Thank you so much and i have been following the threads since part3 now...i will keep looking,i did the SAT Exam aswell,But my result didnt show,so i did the TOEFL Again,But my result is not so good in my Toelf,But am hoping on GOD This time around and i am also thinking of taking my SAT Exam Ticket along with me and if the VO ask me did i take the SAT?I will tell he/she Yes i did,but my result didnt show up for no reasons and show him/her my exam ticket as a proof that i took the Test Then say but i also have my TOEFL RESULT HERE WITH ME....OR I better say what you have told me to say,That my school Exempt me from taking with the SAT because of my Grade in my secondary skool bla bla bla nd all and also show him the Letter my school provides me with? Pls let me know? which is the best for me and give chances to approve my VISA.Thanks

bigfrancis021: Your admission letter of last year and your new I-20 are good to go. However, going with a SAT/TOEFL waiver letter covering your not writing any standardized test will NOT suffice at the embassy. As you did not write any, you'll have to come up with a very cogent reason for not writing any test. The usual my-school-waived-it-for-me alibi will fail to work for you at the interview. Instead say that, 'my SS3 subjects in my high-school transcripts and my SSCE were evaluated and because of my excellent performance in them since SS3 subjects are the core subjects, my department waived the SAT for me'.

Finally, remember, articulate and post your two previous interview experiences for the house to review.

My fellow brodaz nd sister,I really need ur help now and I need a very good and interesting answer to this question A̶̲̥̅♍ about to ask,as I A̶̲̥̅♍ sick and tired of been in nigeria,The question is this.
I gained admission into salisbury university Maryland,USAsince octorber 16 2012 and I went to my interview here in lagos,but I was refused due to unknown reasons and I went for another interview again In january again but I was refused again,but later on I guess to know that I w refused the first and second time because I didn't have both toefl/sat but now my school official have already sent me a letter that I should print it out and take it along with me to the embassy when A̶̲̥̅♍ going for another inte stating I A̶̲̥̅♍ exempted from doing the sat exam which my skool resume jan 24th been a spring semester so I have to mail my skool and they have to move my admission to the fall semester which his august and I hew I-20 formwith me but he didn't include a new admission letter with the new I-20 he sent to me for the fal semester period and when I asked him he said I should use the same admission letter that it the new i-20 I jst need to fill again,so I just want to know if this is not going to affect me again at the embassy.
