Education / Mastering Financial Wellness: Strategies To Live Within Your Means In 2024. by Efeiretegzz: 5:22pm On Jan 23
In recognizing the boundless nature of human desires, the importance of living within our means cannot be overstated. It is a potent strategy for attaining financial stability and securing a future. In the coming month, I urge everyone to craft a realistic budget by formulating a comprehensive budget that delineates your income, fixed expenses, and discretionary spending. Ensure that your budget is allocated judiciously to cover essentials while allowing for some flexibility. Staying vigilant about my spending habits is a way to stay within your means.

Exercising prudence when spending is paramount in attaining financial strength. When you are able to differentiate between essential needs and discretionary wants, you purchase items based on necessity and not merely a desire. You can also curb impulse purchases if you institute a waiting period. Allow time for contemplation on whether a purchase is essential or impulsive. Delaying your gratification can safeguard you from unnecessary expenditures. Regularly reassessing your financial standing and adjusting strategies accordingly ensure that your approach aligns with your current situation.

This post invites you to share your insights, experiences, and challenges in pursuing living within your means. Let's empower one another on the path to financial well-being in 2024!

Career / Re: Why Youths Should Be Encouraged To Be More Involved In Entrepreneurship by Efeiretegzz: 2:48pm On Jun 13, 2023
That is true, Capital is very important but knowing which business you want to get into and being able to draw up a well thought out business plan is more important. I say this because having a flawless business plan will put you in a position to apply for loans to start up your business.

Career / Why Youths Should Be Encouraged To Be More Involved In Entrepreneurship by Efeiretegzz: 9:30am On Jun 13, 2023
Nigerian youths should be encouraged to take the reins of their lives into their own hands. Case in point - entrepreneurship; it's time for our young people to explore the world of startups and business ventures.

Why, you ask? Well, for starters, entrepreneurship allows you to be your boss and pursue your passions. It offers a chance to make a real impact on society by creating innovative solutions to local problems. Plus, it opens doors to financial independence and the potential to create jobs for others. We have plenty of talented and creative minds among our youth, and entrepreneurship provides a platform to showcase and monetize those skills. So let's inspire our peers to think outside the box, embrace risk-taking, and seize the countless opportunities that entrepreneurship brings. Together, we can drive economic growth, foster innovation, and shape a brighter future for Nigeria.

Health / Healthy Skincare Trends by Efeiretegzz: 11:45am On Apr 18, 2023
Hey Nairalanders, have you heard about the latest healthy skincare trends? Gone are the days of harsh bleaching to just become white as snow. Instead, natural and organic products are taking over the market, and I'm loving it!

Lately, I’ve seen people doing a lot of facials, using natural serums and oils; that's healthy living!!
There are some products and devices that help; imagine a device that can be used to massage your skin and smooth out stress lines. I know of one such product from Physio Radiance, it's like using a roller to massage your face and reduce puffiness.

Healthy eating is very important, when you eat well, you look good. And have you tried using avocado or coconut oil as a makeup remover? It's a game-changer!
It's exciting to see people prioritise their health in all aspects, even in their skincare routines. So let's all jump on the healthy skincare bandwagon and glow from the inside out!

If you work in an office setting and you have to do a research, most times you're advised not to depend on Wikipedia for information because it isn't reliable. Even you and I can post stuff on it because they always give the option of editing or updating their current report. So you can't exactly trust it because Wikipedia will carry every and any news, whether they are true or not. For their name change, I can't say so much about that, but what I know is that a lot of companies have changed their names to rebrand; for example Airtel was formerly known as Zain, and 9mobile was formerly known as Etisalat. Their change of name didn't mean they have done something wrong, they might have simply rebranded their company. This is just my viewpoint though.

It’s a global scam they even claim to have various offices overseas but all na scam even Wikipedia has a page on their activities

They even use different type of names

Yes ooo, he should run, it is obviously a scam. I suggest he does more research about the company before anything else. Quickly check google. Because I heard something on Wazobia FM last week of this same QNET saying they know people are using their name to offer fake jobs, and that isn't them, so before doing anything, he should find out about them

This is why i have my fears over the credibility of the upcoming elections.
The things that go down are more than the eyes can see.

If we want anything close to a free and fair election, we should be ready to enforce it ourselves at all cost.

Jobs/Vacancies / I Just Received An Interview Notification From QNET. Can I Trust It? by Efeiretegzz: 12:26pm On Feb 03, 2023
Some posts here talk about QNET inviting people for job interviews. In the first case, you cannot trust an interview notification from a company that does not offer employment opportunities.

QNET does not grant job opportunities to anyone. If they don’t provide job opportunities to anyone, it means that the interview notification from QNET is fake.

Many scammers are using QNET’s name to lure people into paying money in exchange for jobs. Please beware!!
QNET only offers entrepreneurship direct selling opportunities where you are your boss. You are not working for anyone and don’t need to attend interviews as the whole process is automated online.

You also don’t need to pay any money to register; you only use cash to buy products directly from the company.
I have said a lot already.

Check out their website @https://www.qnet.net/ and confirm if what I am saying is true too. A word is enough for the wise!!

Now isn't the time to vote based on he's from my side or he deserves it.
Look at the state of Nigeria now! Is this how we want to continue?
No currency to spend, no fuel, no light, needless traffic because the roads are terrible.
All these problems and someone wants to vote based on ethnicity, not on who can help and move us out of this mess we're in?
Vote wisely!

Politics / Re: New Naira Notes: Who Is Suffering Now - The Politicians Or The Masses? by Efeiretegzz: 12:28pm On Feb 02, 2023
Everyone is suffering! the common masses are suffering!
Now is not a good time to be a Nigerian living in Nigeria.

timota:
When the president wanted to end the use of old #1000, #500 and #200 by January 31, he made it look as if he is trying to checkmate corrupt politicians from having naira note in their private vault, and so many sadist commended him thinking that it is the political class that will suffer.

Just three days down the line, the reality is setting in and people could not buy or sell because of paucity of new notes and the politician that was taught to be the ones to bear the brunt do not join the ATM queue to withdraw the new note.

In my area, I have not heard of any big politician complain, it's just a call from bank managers and bags of new notes are taken to their houses, so will want to ask, in your area who is bearing the brunt: the politician or the masses?
