IT'S TOTALLY STUPID FOR ANYONE TO BLAME ANYONE COMPLAINNING ABOUT THIER UNSATISFACTORY JOB SIMPLY BECAUSE SOME OTHER PEOPLE DON'T HAVE JOBS AT ALL.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB, CREATE A THREAD AND COMPLAIN ABOUT THAT TOO.

DON'T INVALIDATE PEOPLE'S FEELINGS WITH YOUR FALLACIOUS ARGUMENTS AND HIGHLY INSENSITIVE ATTITUDE.

Romance / Re: My Fiancee Tested AA For Genotype When Young, Now She's Testing AS by efembaba(m): 2:36pm On Jan 21
Thank you boss. I will also DM you for more enquiries on how you went about the IVF thing.

ProtonX:
OP, Sorry to hear about your predicament.
There were several genotype testing errors years ago in Nigeria. I for one was tested AA for my admission into uni. AA for NYSC.
This was in the late 90s and early 2000s. I ended up being AS when my GP tested my genotype. I didn't believe but I had two separate tests done in Lekki and Jabi the following year and I was still AS. At the time I had already married my wife who I knew was AS from the start so you can imagine the situation we were in.

It is not a death sentence if you have the means. We employed the services of a Geneticist and we were given about 4 options. We eventually chose pre genetic testing (IVF) and we have a set of twins and a 3rd child. And they are all AA.

If you don't have the means, unfortunately, you don't want to gamble with the lives of your future children and family. It is a painful journey bringing an SS or SC child into the world. I have met a couple of people who were lucky because of inaccurate genotype results. They have no SS kids. But the decisions are yours to make.

Romance / My Fiancee Tested AA For Genotype When Young, Now She's Testing AS by efembaba(m): 4:11pm On Jan 19
My fiancée and I have been engaged for about 7 months now. About when we started, she told me her genotype was AA of which she showed me the test result so I never really took it upon myself to confirm mine which I had been believing as AA.

Recently I went to confirm mine and it turned out to be AS. In shock, I asked her to recheck hers since the result she'd been working with was from when she was a baby. She checked at the first hospital and it surprisingly turned out to be AS. Immediately she did another one at another hospital/lab and it still came out as AS.

I know what most people will say is that that's the right test and we are not compatible medically (which though gruesomely painful, I understand).
but my questions are then these:

1. How do genotype test results change over time? I know they don't since it's based on genetics but how on earth was it possible that she tested AA before but not now (my head is so messed up right now).

2. I know the plain, straightforward answer for situations like this, for most people, is that we path ways due to the outcome of our genotype and I get it. But I want to ask, is there any possibility of an alternative at all? Maybe something that's not so conventional that some people in such situations have done to help them still marry and bear children without issues.
I understand if you think this question is stupid but I'm am a possibility thinker and I know that the world/internet is filled with possibilities.

If you know, please kindly help out. Thank you....

Have you read 1 Timothy chapter 4 where it's said that no food is unclean and nothing is to be refused and have you read where Jesus said in Mark 7: 18-20 that what we eat don't defile us but what comes out of the heart?

You must separate Old Covenant's legalistic ways of attempting to please God (which the bible states is not acceptable to God) and embrace the New Testament's faith based worship (which is the new order and which is based on walking in the Spirit).

There is no food that is sinful. Food doesn't commend us to God for neither if we eat are we the better or if we don't eat are we the worse.1 Cor. 8:8.

The ONLY thing that counts is our faith in Jesus. There is liberty in Christ. May God give you understanding.

GOTVee:
sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, I can't justify eating this. The Bible warns we Christians in the book of leviticus 11:22 against eating grasshoppers and four legged insects. Any Christian that eats this will go to Hell for ever. I pray our lord Jesus continue to guide and protect the Palestinians against the evil persecutions of Isreal. Amen sad

so even if they walk about fully naked, they should be left alone because "it's their body" and "what does it got to do with anybody".

So are you sure you are really thinking before talking (typing)?

It's no one's business, it's their body and it's their way of dressing. So what does it got too do with anybody?

Wow. May God heal you bro.
Just don't go at it alone.
There is solution for every problem.

Get a bible based church and start attending. Open up to the leadership and submit to accountability there. It is well bro.

ChildOfDoom:
thanks. As for listening to sermons, I will.

But my parents have tried spiritual means to stop my betting habits, no avail. I was once taken to a spiritualist, he gave me annointing oil to bathe with and a deliverance soap. I was also taken to a priest who gave me nine days novena to undertake with morning fasting. After little days of remorse, I fall back to my lifestyle. You can't imagine the things I have sold to feed my betting addiction. Also got into troubles using people's money. No TV or generator again. Sold countless phones I purchased. I now beg random girls for raw sex in order to get maximum pleasure. Gave one BJ that messed up my wind pipe

If I make it to 40, I will do thanksgiving

God will heal you bro. Have you given your life to Christ? Get a good church and approach the pastor for help. You can also start watching sermons along that line on YouTube etc.
