so even if they walk about fully naked, they should be left alone because "it's their body" and "what does it got to do with anybody". So are you sure you are really thinking before talking (typing)? Little21: It's no one's business, it's their body and it's their way of dressing. So what does it got too do with anybody?
You guys should just leave in a different planet where everything is done the way you want it to be. Tsk.... |

Wow. May God heal you bro. Just don't go at it alone. There is solution for every problem. Get a bible based church and start attending. Open up to the leadership and submit to accountability there. It is well bro. ChildOfDoom: thanks. As for listening to sermons, I will.
But my parents have tried spiritual means to stop my betting habits, no avail. I was once taken to a spiritualist, he gave me annointing oil to bathe with and a deliverance soap. I was also taken to a priest who gave me nine days novena to undertake with morning fasting. After little days of remorse, I fall back to my lifestyle. You can't imagine the things I have sold to feed my betting addiction. Also got into troubles using people's money. No TV or generator again. Sold countless phones I purchased. I now beg random girls for raw sex in order to get maximum pleasure. Gave one BJ that messed up my wind pipe
If I make it to 40, I will do thanksgiving |

God will heal you bro. Have you given your life to Christ? Get a good church and approach the pastor for help. You can also start watching sermons along that line on YouTube etc. |

Amazing app!. I too am a developer working seriously on my startup. Interestingly, it's also in the e-hailing niche but the concept is quite different from Driveinhud's. I would really love us to network together if that's fine by you. I promise our collaboration will be of mutual benefits. Pls hit me up on call/chat on 08161165422 or email on elujobaoluwafemi@gmail.com Charpell: Dear Nairaland community, join me as I document my journey of building a world class app. I am going to give a daily update on my progress and open to constructive criticism and feedback as I work.
Getting laid off from a job is never an easy experience, but it can also be an opportunity to explore new possibilities and pursue a passion. In my case, losing my job led me to start building a carpooling app that will made a difference in the lives of many people.
When I was let go from my job, I was devastated. I had been working for the company for several years, and I had never thought about what I would do if I lost my job. But as the weeks went by and I struggled to find another job, I started to realize that this could be a chance to take a risk and follow my dream of launching my own product.
I had always been interested in the concept of carpooling, and I saw an opportunity to create an app that would make it easier and more convenient for people to share rides. I started doing research, studying the market and the competition, and identifying the features that would make my app stand out.
One of the biggest challenges I faced was funding. I had no job, limited savings and no investors, so I had to be creative in finding ways to finance my project. I started by doing freelance work to make ends meet, and I also loans. It took a lot of effort and patience, but eventually, I was able to secure enough funding to work on the app.
The next challenge was building the app itself. I created a wireframe and worked with a designer to create a sleek and intuitive interface. I made sure to include all the basic features that would make the app stand out, such as the ability to; - Search for route - Create route - Book trips - Rate fellow carpoolers
Once the design was complete, I began working with a team of freelance developers to build the app. We encountered several challenges along the way, such as compatibility issues and server crashes. But we persevered, I was working 15 hours daily, 7 days a week and after several weeks of hard work, we finally had a working prototype.
One of the biggest lessons I learned during this journey is the importance of perseverance. There were times when I wanted to give up, but I kept pushing forward, knowing that my idea had potential. I also learned the importance of collaborating with a team of experts who can bring different skills and perspectives to the table.
The app is currently on Alpha testing, if you want to get a sneak peak before the official launch date, here is the link
(Please only Nigerians can test) Playstore: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/driveinhud/id6447472979?platform=iphone Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.charpell.driveinhud

To be continued
UPDATE!!! We finally launched the Driveinhud app on 6th of June, 2023. All my beta and alpha testers, core staffs came from this thread. Thanks to Nairaland for giving me the platform to launch Driveinhud. |

Listening to everyone except my heart.
You must not give a damn about what anyone says, including me your father, if your heart is telling you something different.
When you become successful following your heart, everyone who would have derailed you would still congratulate you, and if you fail following other people's advice, you bear the brunt alone!.
If you like my child, ignore this advice. |

Any child that can cut picture out of money and arrange them so orderly like that is old enough to know it's wrong to do it. He will receive the beatings of his life. thesicilian: I am of the opinion that some of these pictures were set by their moms to trend. Because I find it hard to believe that there's any kid that could cut up currency notes so perfectly with scissors, and then arrange them neatly on the table. Not to talk of the one in the fridge, which sane person would come home and meet the child naked in a cold refrigerator and the first thought is to pick up the phone and take a pic? |
