see this strike as an opportunity to skill up if you are a student. I remember when I was in school, that was when I picked up web development. I could not continue because my work load was much and there was no time. I thought I would pick it immediately after school. After school, life happened and I could not. I went to work for a small school for four years before I went back to learning JavaScript. If I had d time then to learn when I was in school, I won't be where I am. If you are still counting on your degree alone for success later, You are on a very long sorry journey

hmm I smell danger. This acquisition will be like giving a giving a kid a fully loaded gun and letting him know that there are no consequences as to how he chooses to use it. Elon claims he wants to promote freedom of speech but what he wants to do is make himself a demigod.

There should not be absolute freedom for anyone. People should be free but also be held accountable. He is privatizing Twitter and turning it to his private tool to control the world, and he will be doing that with impunity.

The idea of "self taught" is a misnomer. There's no such thing as "self taught". Somebody actually is teaching you, albeit not physically but rather through videos, books, docs etc. Maybe it should be properly called "unofficial taught"......

Battery life:
Heavy usage 3 to 4 hours like connected to internet and making live Tutorials.

Not heavy usage like reading or coding 8 good hours.

I'm also a front end developer who has just finished learning ReactJS, and I think I have a good grasp of it. BUT I NEED A JOB RIGHT NOW.

I have been learning for about seven months intensively now.

How do I go about it.?

I have been sending my cv to some companies online (although it's a bit scanty since I've not got lots of working experience) but I've not got any positive response.

After all this years, have been tired and frustrated. I needed money so bad(as we know how Nigeria take tough reach) and then I consulted people to know how to get money. So fortunately in the process of venting and searching a neighbor of mine was a programmer, I met him then it all began

I started learning programming as at 2019, by the way I learnt JavaScript, React, CSS and HTML. Then I practiced and watched other videos on YouTube as he told me to. Then I was ready to get a job and money after all the whole learning process and patience. I started hunting for jobs everywhere starting from LinkedIn, glassdoor, jobberman, indeed, I searched basically everywhere to get jobs. Then thank God I got one finally, while working I was introduced to Upwork (though have heard about it earlier) and I got introduced and payed for the class, 1 month I left my office and started freelancing and have been freelancing since then and made x8 of my salary in my comfort zone sitting at home receiving payment weekly and no issue of traffic nor offices delay payment or those issues of office
