Following reports that the Presbyterian Church of US has accepted Gay marriage, Ghana’s branch of the same-Presbyterian Church has decided to cut ties, calling the acceptance of homosexuality by some churches as demonic influence.

“They have deviated from biblical principles,” the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Rev. Professor Emmanuel Martey told Joy News Thursday.

According to Rev Professor Emmanuel Martey, the US Presbyterian church is not a “bible-believing church” and Ghana will have no part in accepting a demonic practice. “It is only the church…the true church that Satan is afraid of. Satan is not afraid of United States army or any other army. It is only the church…the church of Christ,” he told Joy News.

He added that his heart bleeds for any church that accepts homosexuality.

This is the sort of leaders we have in Ghana which has stagnated our development and progress. While others have moved on and found the need to accept people’s sexual orientation, we sit back home in Africa to condemn their actions while perpetuating bigotry.

Ghanaians have become more catholic than the people of Rome—I guess. The white man who brought Christianity and his Bible to us is accepting these things yet we say it’s wrong. Pretty funny!

Please, do not see this issue as men versus women. There are women who believe women should not serve as pastors and that the Bible places restrictions on the ministry of women, and there are men who believe women can serve as preachers and that there are no restrictions on women in ministry. This is not an issue of chauvinism or discrimination. It is an issue of biblical interpretation.

The Word of God proclaims, “A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent” (1 Timothy 2:11–12). In the church, God assigns different roles to men and women. This is a result of the way mankind was created and the way in which sin entered the world (1 Timothy 2:13–14). God, through the apostle Paul, restricts women from serving in roles of teaching or having spiritual authority over men. This precludes women from serving as pastors over men, which definitely includes preaching to them, teaching them publicly, and exercising spiritual authority over them.


God has ordained that only men are to serve in positions of spiritual teaching authority in the church. This is not because men are necessarily better teachers or because women are inferior or less intelligent (which is not the case). It is simply the way God designed the church to function. Men are to set the example in spiritual leadership; in their lives and through their words. Women are to take a less authoritative role. Women are encouraged to teach other women (Titus 2:3–5). The Bible also does not restrict women from teaching children. The only activity women are restricted from is teaching or having spiritual authority over men.

You know when you get married for the first
time, and the first six months are awesome? It's
all new, you do everything together, you go eat
at different places, you want to be with the other
person all the time, and it's all love and fun. And
that love and fun don't seem to disappear at all.
But then, routine happens. You see her all the
time, you have to eat the same bad dinner she
cooked every night, you think she just wants to
spend your money going to the mall every
weekend, you don't see movies together

just to get that crappy marriage out of your

Love runs out, and you're stuck. You ask
yourself, "do I even love her anymore?" You took
things for granted, the marriage got bad and you

Once in a while, that metaphor comes to my
mind when I think about Barcelona (and
football) fans and Lionel Messi. The relationship
started in an amazing way, and we all loved to
witness his greatness. We just watched in awe
as he blitzed the sport and became one of the
best players in history. Every Messi game wasn't
just must-watch, it was can't-miss. You just say
to yourself "MESSI IS PLAYING! I HAVE TO SEE
IT!"
Seeing him win with Pep Guardiola was
awesome. He did things we never thought was
possible, and he made us smile with every new
trophy he lifted while doing impossible and
beautiful things.
But as time went on, we started to take Messi for
granted. Even though he was still doing Lio Stuff,
we just weren't appreciating him as we should.
Especially after Barça started losing with Tata
Martino. Even Barcelona fans were saying he
was in decline, and maybe the Messi Era has just
become part of the past.
And then came this season, and Leo doesn't like
his coach, he doesn't like being moved back to
the right flank and he's not happy. And his
season is probably going to confirm to
everybody that Messi is simply not the same and
we're going to see a shadow of his former self.
But, as always, Leo did his talk on the field. And
after five months of REAL high-level football, we
have to recognize that we were all wrong about
him. I don't care what you say, at some point
you questioned your trust on Messi. It's just that
simple. Your marriage became routine. And you
knew that things weren't the same, but you don't
know what happened. You took the marriage for
granted, and all of a sudden you're questioning
whether or not this is good for you.
We've all taken Messi for granted. We are still
going to take Messi for granted. He's just SO
FAWKING GOOD that his greatness becomes

Same thing here..I used to take dreams likely until something terrible happened in my family. I had a dream where i was at my dad's funeral. i saw family members weeping with a white casket in front of them..Suddenly, i woke up from my sleep, went to my friend's room to tell him about my dream..'nothing go happen, na ordinary dream', he said...Behold, few months later i lost mum..It was a white casket i bought to bury her.

Furthermore, Early last year, i had another dream where a huge snake swallowed my 5 chickens. i seek interpretations from close friends and family,but none of them could decipher the dream..However, 2 weeks later, 5 of our staff were sacked in our company.
