Faleke shared a joint ticket with Audu. Audu won the primaries legitimately and Faleke was his legitimate running mate. Thus they both share a joint ticket legitimately. So this is different from the Taraba case.

The Supreme Court had once ruled that a governorship candidate of a party and his deputy shares a joint ticket. So Faleke is the legitimate person to continue with the elections (the election is still ongoing in the eyes of the law) and not a new candidate from a new primaries when elections is ongoing!

In Amaechi's case no fresh primaries were conducted. That's the difference. Fresh Primaries is not done when elections has commenced! It contravenes sections within the Electoral Act. INEC should have continued with the primaries with Faleke as APC candidate.

That would have been worst, Faleke didn't contest any primaries, we all saw what happened in Taraba where a governor was removed from office cuz of "primaries wahala" and hope you know deputies are assigned to the governors after primary elections

If this people cant adhere to the rules they should leave Nigeria Market (of course none of them will leave cuz of the amount they making) others would gladly grab it. I believe if Nigeria got about 10 or more service providers call and data rate will fall drastically due to competition. Before Etisalat and Glo came on board the call rates were higher, when more service providers come in again they would have to reduce their charges.
