Salvation known as regeneration or the new birth confers a glorious destiny on everyone that has been redeemed. We have been redeemed as priests and kings, and God’s plan for us is that we reign on the earth (Rom. 8:29-30; Rev. 5:10). We have also been called unto glory and virtue (2 Pet. 1:3). But how do we access this heavyweight dimension of glory reserved for us?

Knowing what is yours but not knowing how to get at it can be very frustrating in life both as a man or as a woman. Isaiah 2:2-3 and Micah 4:1- 2 makes it very clear that the unfolding of God’s ways is what will bring down His glory upon the Church. The quality of revelation the Church has access to is what will determine the quality and weight of glory that she is able to enjoy.

A discovery of vision and its pursuit is the gateway to the actualization of our glorious destiny in Christ. Equally very vital is the place of divine guidance in the pursuit of vision, because only those that are led by the Spirit of God can truly manifest their sonship on the earth. It is divine guidance that makes the journey of life great, as you cannot operate by the ways of God and not cause waves on the earth.

The Bible says, “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts” (Isa. 55:9). When you walk by the higher ways of God, you become a high flyer in life.

The Bible unfolds the unlimited realms of glory that God has reserved for His people in Deuteronomy 28:1- 13. Much more important to note is the secret for accessing it, which is revealed in verse one:

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

The glory packaged for the endtime Church is rooted in His voice; it is rooted in hearkening to the voice of the Lord, which is divine guidance. When harkened to, the voice of the Lord will always culminate in a glorious experience. The voice of the Lord,
therefore, is the master key to the dimensions of His glory in our lives.

He leads us in the path of profiting by His voice. We are told in Isaiah 48:17: Thus saith the LORD, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

Everyone who harkens to the voice of His leading will end up being distinguished. Following His leading is the guarantee for the fulfillment of vision and destiny, because the leading of the Lord is what makes great l eader s. Speaking about the Holy
Spirit, the Bible says:

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. John 16:13

The Bible also says in Isaiah 49:10: They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for he that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.

After the outcome of the just concluded PDP primaries in Portharcourt Nigeria, twelve notable PDP stalwarts slugged it out for the presidential ticket of the party in Port Harcourt throughout Saturday night until yesterday when the final results were announced with ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar emerging as the flag bearer.

The question many are asking is the way forward for the remaining aspirants.

Other presidential aspirants who tried their luck during the contest were governors Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State and Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe State; Senate President Bukola Saraki; former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido; former governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi; former Minister of Special Duties, Alhaji Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, former Senate President, David Mark; former governor of Kano State, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso; former governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa; former governor of Plateau State, Jonah Jang; and founder of Baze University Sen. Datti Baba-Ahmed.

However, while some of the aspirants would simply go back to their businesses as they did when they tried for the presidency or other positions in the past, there were insinuations that others would fall back on the ‘Plan B’ which they worked on long before Saturday.

Sources said part of the agreements reached in Port Harcourt is to give room for those who lost out to vie for other offices if they so wish. “Some of them may likely declare for senate before the Sunday dateline given by INEC and others would still have opportunity during replacement which is allowed in the Electoral Act and party guidelines,” a source said.
