What I'll suggest here is that she should change the company she keeps. If she has decided to maintain her virginity (which is a great thing), then she should "roll" with those who share similar ideals. Am 100% sure there are guys out there willing to maintain a "non-sexual" relationship. |
A unit of new manual battery cages that can house 240 birds at 105k. Location: Owo, Ondo State. Let me know is interested. |
About 500 pullets I got from Zartech on 5th June, 2014 (over 21 weeks ago) have not started dropping. What could be the issue? NOTE: This won't be the first time I would be raising pullets. However, this would be the first I would procure from Zartech. The previous ones started dropping between the 16th and 19th, though I fed them ad lib, while this set have their feeding regulated. They are generally healthy with all the physical signs of a laying pullet, yet no eggs yet. Any piece advice? |
Gorgeous58. I'm impressed seeing a lady who knows her football this well. As to your point; it is valid. Mangala, as I suspected he would, has been struggling. Consequent on this, I don't Pellegrini using him tomorrow. Even at that, I still believe that City will win comfortably. And that is for one reason; United. this season, have struggled against all the teams that have attacked them. They will equally struggle against City, who arguably have the best attack in the EPL. |
Your form before coming into a derby doesn't count on the day. The 2 teams are devastating going forward. However, City are stronger defensively. I expect them to pick United off at the back. City are at home and they have a lot to prove. Silva's absence will be a big miss; no doubt. However, Nasri is back & will compensate. Finally, United have struggled against all the teams who have attacked them this season; Leicester, West Brom, etc. There is hardly any better attacking team in the EPL today than City. United are bound to struggle. |
A Big Win For City. Definitely. |
Boko Haram has denied claims by Nigeria's government that it has agreed to a ceasefire and will release more than 200 abducted schoolgirls. The group's leader, Abubakar Shekau, said the girls had converted to Islam and been married off since being taken. Nigeria's army announced a ceasefire with the militants on 17 October, saying the girls would soon be freed. But violence has continued since news of the alleged truce, including a fatal bomb blast on Friday. Boko Haram has been fighting an insurgency since 2009, with some 2,000 civilians reportedly killed this year. 'We will not negotiate' In a video released on Friday, Abubakar Shekau said: "We have not made ceasefire with anyone. We did not negotiate with anyone. It's a lie. "We will not negotiate. What is our business with negotiation? Allah said we should not." Shekau also claimed that the militants were holding a German national, thought to be a teacher, who was kidnapped by gunmen in July. There was no indication of when or where the group's latest video was shot. The BBC's Tomi Oladipo in Lagos says the video will come as a huge embarrassment for the Nigerian government after it said it had secured a ceasefire with Boko Haram. Newspapers with headlines on the Chibok girls and their possible release are displayed at a news stand in Abuja - 18 October 2014 News of the government supposedly sealing a truce with Boko Haram made the front pages The Islamist militants sparked global outrage in April by abducting 219 schoolgirls from the remote north-eastern town of Chibok, in Borno state. Their continued captivity has led to criticism of the Nigerian government's efforts to secure their release. Hopes were raised earlier this month when Nigeria's chief of defence staff, Alex Badeh, announced a truce with the group. "They've assured us they have the girls and they will release them," he said. "I am cautiously optimistic." But the Boko Haram leader said the girls were "in their marital homes" after being married off by the group. Last week, Human Rights Watch said in a report that Boko Haram was holding more than 500 women and young girls captive and that forced marriage was common in the group's camps. melifew213. Check for the following; the comb must be red, turgid & extended, to cover between the pelvic and breast must take at least 3 fingers. Additionally, the vent should be moist and red. Success |
hardniola. Depending on how much a plot cost in your choice location, you may wish to consider the following; a manual cage with capacity of 240 birds can be gotten at 100/110k at Akure there. Similarly, budget btw 950 - 1,000 for each bird (whether you're raising from day old or you are buying at point of lay). You'll need about 5 bundles of roofing sheet to cover a pen capable of housing 500 birds. Other expenses include cement for the flooring, net & planks. Success. |
Preparation To begin with, each player selects a token. Then they place their token on the Go space on the board, only when his/her first turn to move arrives. One player becomes the Banker, who distributes assets from the Bank to the players. Only the player in question can use their money, money can only by lent via the banker or by the player remortgaging an asset, money can not be lent by another player. Each player receives two $500, two $100, two $50, six $20, five $10, five $5, and five $1. The Bank has 32 houses and 12 hotels , but never runs out of money. If necessary, the Banker can create more money to give to players. The Banker keeps his assets separate from those of the Bank. The Banker can not get extra money. When you pass GO you receive $200. General Each player, in turn, rolls both dice and then moves forward (clockwise around the board) the number of spaces indicated by the sum of the numbers rolled. Action is then taken depending on the space on which the player lands: If the player lands on an unowned property, he or she may buy it for the price listed on that property's space. If he or she agrees to buy it, he or she pays the Bank the amount shown on the property space and receives the deed for that property. There can only be one player per color. If he or she decides not to buy it, the property is auctioned, and the bidding may start at any price. The highest bidder wins the property and pays the Bank the amount bid and receives the property's title deed. Railroads and utilities are also properties. If the player lands on an unmortgaged property owned by another player, he or she pays rent to that person, as specified on the property's deed. It is the property owner's responsibility to demand rent, and he or she has until the beginning of the second following player's turn to do so. If the player lands on his or her own property, or on property which is owned by another player but currently mortgaged, nothing happens. If the player lands on Luxury Tax/Super Tax, he or she must pay the Bank $100 (in some editions of the game, only $75). If the player lands on Income Tax he or she must pay the Bank either $200 or 10% of his or her total assets (cash on hand, property, houses and hotels). In some editions of the game, this is a flat rate of $200. If the player lands a on Chance or Community Chest, the player takes a card from the top of the respective pack and performs the instruction given on the card. If the player lands on the Jail space, he or she is "Just Visiting" and does nothing. No penalty applies. If the player lands on the Go to Jail square, he or she must move his token directly to Jail. If the player lands on or passes Go in the course of his or her turn, he or she receives $200 from the bank. A player has until the beginning of his or her next turn to collect this bonus. If a player does not have sufficient funds to pay off a rent or fee, he or she may take a loan from the bank by mortgaging one or more properties or trade property deeds to other players in the game. Players may not loan money to other players, only the bank can loan money, and then only by mortgaging properties. If a property is mortgaged, a sale of this property can be forced by another player by offering the bank a sum more than the mortgaged price. This forces the person mortgaging the property to buy it back at that time or relinquish the property to the bank which may then be purchased for sale for the offered price. If a player skips another player's turn and is caught, the turn is transferred back to the player whose turn was skipped. Doubles When doubles are rolled, the player picks up the dice and moves again, however, while house rules may vary, the official rules state that you do land on the square you landed on, on your first roll, and you must pay the price or should you so choose, buy the property in question. After the third roll of doubles, rather than landing on the square you would go to, go immediately to jail, and therefore, do not enact the appropriate action of landing on that square. Jail A player can be directed to jail in three ways: by landing on the Go to Jail space, by drawing a "Go to Jail" Chance or Community Chest card or rolling three doubles. In any of these cases, the player moves directly into jail, without collecting the $200 for passing Go. A player in jail remains there until he/she does one of the following: opts to pay a $50 bailout to the bank, or spend a "Get out of Jail Free" card, before rolling the dice rolls doubles three times fails to roll doubles on his/her third turn in jail, in which case the $50 charge is levied anyway (the player may not use a "Get out of Jail Free" card in this situation) In any of these cases, the dice rolled on the turn on which the player leaves jail are played out. However, in the second case, the power of the doubles is "used up" by bailing the player out of jail, and so he/she does not get an extra turn. On the other hand, if the player rolls doubles in the first case, the extra turn is still granted. While in jail, a player may still buy and erect houses/hotels, sell or buy property, and collect rent. [1] Properties, Rents, and Construction You can only buy houses or hotels second time round on the board. You can't buy these on the first round. If a player lands on property and refuses to buy it the others may bid on the property. The player with the highest bid gets the property. Properties are arranged in "color groups" of two or three properties. Once a player owns all properties of a color group (a monopoly), the rent is now doubled on all unimproved lots of that color group, even if some of the properties are mortgaged to the Bank, and the player may purchase either one to four houses or one hotel (which is equivalent to five houses) for those properties (as long as none of the properties of that color group are mortgaged to the bank), which raise the rents that must be paid when other players land on the property. The properties in a color group must be developed evenly, i.e. each house that is built must go on a property in the group with the fewest number of houses on it so far. In another way of speaking, the number of houses of any properties of a same color group must not differ by more than one. For example, houses in a group may be distributed (2,3,2) or (0,1,1) or (4,4,3), but not (1,2,3) or (0,4,4). If a property is owned by a player and another player lands on the property and the owner does not realise it before another player rolls the dice then the player does not have to pay the owner. You may have up to 1 Hotel or 4 Houses. 5 Houses are equal to 1 Hotel. House prices should be on the property cards. A hotel may be built on a color group only after all properties in the group have four houses. A player purchases a hotel by paying the price of an additional house, and returning the four houses on that property to the bank in exchange for a hotel. If there are not enough houses in the bank for a player to build four houses on each property before building a hotel, the player may not skip directly to buying a hotel by paying the full price at one go. The bank has a fixed supply of 32 houses and 12 hotels. If more players decide to build more houses at the same time than there are houses in the bank, the houses are auctioned off one at a time to the highest bidder. This rule favors the owners of expensive properties, for which the houses cost more in the first place, because the auction price of a house is not tied to the value of the property on which it will be placed. It is not possible to buy more houses than there is available in the bank. This could stop people buying hotels in the future! At any time a player may, to raise cash, return hotels and houses to the bank for the mortgage value on the front of the card. If there are sufficient houses in the bank, hotels may also be "broken down" into a number of houses for the corresponding percentage of their purchase price. For example, hotels in one color group may be replaced by two houses each, and for each hotel thus broken down, the player receives half the cost of three houses. Also, properties with no houses or hotels may be mortgaged for half of the property price. A property does not collect rent while mortgaged and may not be developed. To de-mortgage a property a player must pay interest of 10% in addition to the mortgage price. Whenever a mortgaged property changes hands between players, either through a trade, sale or by bankruptcy, the new owner must immediately pay 10% interest on the mortgage and at their option may pay the principal or hold the property. If the player holds the property and later wishes to lift the mortgage they must pay the 10% interest again as well as the principal. Sharing the ownership of any property is strictly forbidden and equals in the players involved forfeiting the game. For a street repairs card, the player must pay for every house and/or hotel they own on the board. Railroad and Utility Rent The rent a player owes for landing on a railroad varies with the number of railroads the owner possesses. The rent is as follows: Charge $25 if one owned, $50 if two owned, $100 if three owned, $200 if all owned by the same owner. For utilities, after a player lands on one to owe rent, they must roll the dice again to determine the rent amount. The rent is 10 times the amount rolled if the owner has both, or 4 times if not. |

This move will likely backfire in the party's quest to win most votes in the state during the presidential election. From information available, the governor has lost his goodwill among Ondo State people due to non-performance since he got a second-term mandate. Forcing him on the State PDP may lead to some of the party members teaming up with the APC just to prove a point. The national leadership should have sought a middle ground |
I'll suggest vitamins 3 days before, then Stresoak (or any anti-stress drug) 2/3 days after. The whole idea here is to minimise effects of stress on the birds which might lead to reduced production and/or outbreak of diseases. |
The scarcity and attendant price increase is nationwide and has been attributed to shortage of soybeans due to Boko Haram insurgency affecting its cultivation. Meanwhile, why don't you consider Vital or Hybrid Feeds? Those 2 are being milled close to Minna and should be cheaper than Top Feeds due to reduced cost of transportation from the mill to distributors/retailers in Minna? (This is just a suggestion and not an endorsement of a brand over another) |
It won't happen; at least, not till after the 2015 general elections. As implementing it now may spell doom for the PDP-led FG. Meanwhile, the proposed policy isn't just being practicable now |

This isn't surprising. The whole essence of governance is to make lives of citizens better in the immediate and also secure the future for the coming generations. However, as was played out in Ekiti, STOMACH INFRASTRUCTURE (immediate gains) triumphs over CAPITAL INFRASTRUCTURE (the future) in Nigeria. |
When Joshua Blue, a vice principal at the Kennedy School in Hong Kong, hosts an assembly for his students, he wears a light violet-coloured pastel tie to give him an edge. The bluish-purple tie is “colourful yet muted”, he said, which Blue believes keeps students from being as bored when listening. On the other hand, he avoids brighter purples and pinks when standing up in front of students. “You don’t want so many bright colours that the kids will get distracted,” said Blue, 35. It might sound a bit like hocus pocus, but experts say that no matter the audience — clients, staff or even children — picking the right tie colour can help get your message across. “Colours give off very specific signals,” said David Zyla, New York-based author of Color Your Style. “The same suit can be transformed with different tie colours, each with a very different impact and message.” Wondering what colour tie to wear to your next meeting? Here’s how to choose the perfect tie colour for every occasion: All Powerful Reds It’s not a coincidence that many politicians wear red-coloured ties with light shirts and darker suits. “Red is the power tie,” said Mark Woodman, a trend analyst who studies colour in Laurel, Maryland, in the US. “There’s something about red that always comes back to strength and passion.” But the tone of your reds matters, too. Darker reds, such as a burgundy, can help build trust, while lighter red and pink ties can be more of a statement about your personal style and be associated with creativity. In the last decade, a pink tie can sometimes signal “solidarity with women,” added Woodman. When you are taking the lead on a project or want to convey a sense of ambition, consider a bold shiny red. A matte or printed red tie can be a more subtle way to convey power. Royal Purples Ross Znavor, an executive in financial services in New York, wears purple ties rather than red to business meetings because the colour shows a bit of self-confidence and helps him create lasting first impressions. Wearing a tie in a hue that’s less traditional shows clients, he is “comfortable in my own skin and someone with whom you want to build a relationship”, he said. Lindsay said purple, traditionally a sign of royalty and wealth, is becoming more acceptable in the workplace. “Men are wearing shades of lighter purple shirts and darker purple ties,” she said. Wear one of these shades if you want to stand out from the crowd with a slightly bolder look that’s not distracting. Black Affair While you might not wear them to executive meetings on a regular basis, wearing black ties to a cocktail party or even an upscale dinner gives off a sophisticated vibe, said Zyla. But beware: the formal black colour can feel arrogant or overdressed in many situations. “Avoid it if being one of the ‘boys’ at work is necessary as you climb up the ladder,” Zyla said. It’s often smarter to stick to grey shades, added Woodman. A grey tie can help give you a more sophisticated look without seeming pretentious, said Woodman. “Grey is kind of edgy and it can look very modern,” he said. To pull it off, pair it with a lighter, pastel-coluored shirt. Look for lighter grey shades and shiny finish for a more polished look. Shades Of The Garden Green can signal several things, from rebirth to the colour of money in some countries. But, surprisingly, it can be too loud for the workplace. “Do you want to be remembered for the tie or who you are as an individual?,” Woodman asked. Choosing the right green can be tough. A bright green is often too distracting, and it can also be difficult to find matching suits or shirts, he added. Still, a light green tie with a subtle print can pair well with a neutral-coloured shirt. Yellow is a traditional tie colour in countries, including England, which can signal assuredness, along with radiance and vitality, he said. Yellow ties can make you more approachable to colleagues because it’s a vibrant colour that’s symbolic of the sun. For many, wearing a yellow tie, “can show optimism and a positive outlook on life,” added Eve Roth Lindsay, an image consultant in Hong Kong. Be careful of committing cultural faux pas when it comes to colour. For example, a yellow tie in India can signal that someone is a merchant, said Zyla. Wearing a white tie in China signals a period of mourning. Fifty Shades Of… Blue Afraid of sending the wrong message with your tie colour? Consider blue as the all-purpose tie hue. Blue ties are a good investment because the colour reminds people of the sky and ocean, which has a calming effect, said Lindsay. “Blue is the safest colour to wear,” she said. Patterned blue ties tend to give off a classic professional feel and can be worn in a global business environment without sending the wrong message. A subtle blue can be “soft and introspective” while a cobalt or royal blue can help you stand out just the right amount, she said. “Dark blues are often reminiscent of well-respected pilot uniforms. Navy blue is a trusted colour and gives us confidence,” Lindsay said. Be One With Nature “A more relaxed wardrobe of friendlier colours such as tan, brown, earthy colours, salmon and yellow works for people dealing with other people such as sales, teachers and the service industry,” said Lindsay. Make sure the brown tie does not look too plain, because it can signal a dull personality. A beige tie can sometimes come across as too relaxed, she said. Avoid pairing earth tone hues with similarly coloured shirts. And if you are eager for a promotion and want to stand out in the workplace, skip these colours altogether. SOURCE: BBC WORLD SERVICE. |

We’ve all heard the stories about job interviews gone wrong, like the eager young applicant who brought a sandwich to the interview, because, after all, it was lunch time. But a candidate’s first impression begins long before the interview. It starts with cover letter and CV or resume, which often are far from blemish-free. BBC Capital asked recruiters, hiring managers, and career coaches to share some of the most egregious errors they see in applications — and how to fix them. I can’t take a gamble on someone who can’t follow the first instructions I give. — Emily LaRusch Cut and paste isn’t your friend Matthew Lanier, a Boston-based corporate recruiter at technology staffing firm Eliassen Group, recalls the resume of an applicant in her twenties, who had mostly retail and customer-service experience. So he was surprised when lower down on the CV, he found an executive-level position with a major finance company and dates of employment spanning almost 10 years. Turns out the applicant had searched professional-looking resumes online, found one she really liked, and cut and pasted her own experiences over it. But, she mistakenly left some of the other person’s work history and personal contact information on the document. “You have to assume that your entire resume will be looked at prior to being contacted, and that a careless mistake could be the difference between getting the job you want or being passed over,” wrote Lanier in an email. There’s also another important reason to take the extra time—you can more easily support your story in interviews, according to Lanier. “There is a huge difference between the candidate who can naturally apply their experience to the questions being asked of them versus one who is looking down at their resume for every answer,” he said. Toss the form letter When Ed Zitron, founder of EZPR, a public relations firm in San Francisco, listed an opening for a paid intern on InternMatch.com, he received more than 100 applications. Not one contained a personal cover letter. “Every single one was a form letter, clearly copied and pasted,” said Zitron by email. Worse, almost none of the applicants even bothered to “put my name, or the firm's name, anywhere in the body” of the cover letter. “I'm so easy to Google: you type my name in, there's my Twitter, there's my personal and my professional website,” Zitron said. “Getting even the most basic facts… is easy.” His advice: Don’t send a generic cover letter, ever. Instead, share a bit of who you are and how that might relate to the position for which you are applying. Spend a few minutes Googling the firm. If you have a contact’s name, Google that person, too. Be selective Executive career coach Irene McConnell has clients who tell her they apply to more than 100 jobs per week. This is a big mistake, according to the director of Sydney-based Arielle Careers. “The recruiters remember your name and begin to associate it with ‘that dude/gal who spams me every time I put a job ad up’,” McConnell said. Think of it like a house that’s on the market for too long. You start wondering what’s wrong with it and why it won’t sell. Don’t think recruiters don’t know which applications have made the rounds. Some tell-tale signs: a resume and cover letter that are completely non-aligned, the wrong recruiter's name or an incorrect role of interest, according to McConnell. The recruiting world is a lot smaller than you might think. “If you damage your reputation in the eyes of recruiters, it will be more difficult to get a call back even when you put a thought-through application in,” McConnell said. Keep photos to yourself Roy Cohen, a New York-based veteran career counsellor and executive coach, remembers when a new client included an image of herself in a bikini in her application packet. She had come to him for job search advice and strategy because she was frustrated that she wasn’t getting beyond the first round or getting many interviews. “In advance of our first session, I asked her to provide me with a little background, a resume, and a sample cover letter,” said Cohen in an email. “That's how I discovered her very wrong approach.” She wanted to work in marketing for a hedge fund and told Cohen that she knew that hedge funds typically hired "babes,” so she thought the photo might give her the upper hand. While it is quite common in Europe to include a photo of oneself when applying for jobs – and sometimes it is even requested by companies – it is not expected and is often frowned upon in the US. Even where it is expected, keep it professional and current. Cohen counselled his client against the use of the photo, not just for its inappropriateness but also because it was quite dated. “Imagine the awkwardness when you discover that a candidate has misrepresented the facts. In this case, by submitting a photo that is 10 plus years old,” said Cohen. “In addition to feeling like a ‘bait and switch’ occurred, interviewers are likely to wonder if the candidate is delusional or simply prone to lying.” Shikha Arora, senior recruiter with SAP Asia, who is based in Singapore, has had other photo issues. “I received [an] application from an experienced professional from Hong Kong. The file size was 14 MB and I was taken aback to see more than 10 pictures shared in the document,” she wrote in an email. Some of the images were of the applicant receiving rewards and other showed him doing a favourite hobby. “In my opinion, not the best way to tell and sell your story,” she said. Follow instructions Emily LaRusch, founder of Phoenix-based virtual receptionist services firm Back Office Betties, likes to test applicants’ attention to detail right from the start. Recently, she included in a job posting two straightforward instructions and a mention that anyone who didn’t apply as instructed wouldn’t be considered. She received more than 30 applications in two days; only three people followed the instructions, and only one of them had a good command of English grammar. She is the only one who LaRusch is even considering for the post. “This is supposed to be where applicants put their best foot forward, so I can’t take a gamble on someone who can’t follow the first instructions I give,” said LaRusch. Don’t be too sure of yourself Amy Silverman, managing editor of Phoenix New Times, recently advertised a food critic opening on the newspaper’s food blog. What she quickly learned: “Everyone eats so everyone feels like they could make a great food critic.” More troubling, Silverman found that a lot of people out there don’t take the application process very seriously. Whether it’s refusing to submit a resume or making up excuses, she’s seen it all. As one applicant put it, "I don’t have a resume. I’m a business owner and, quite frankly, have complete disregard for resumes. They’re snapshots of what a person wants you to know, not a synopsis of who a person really is. That type of understanding can only be gained through interaction." Needless to say, Silverman didn’t give the applicant a second glance. Another applicant talked about “wetting” one’s appetite and another who mentioned her own “little to none experience in food.” Her advice: “If you want a job writing, don’t send a cover letter with typos and grammar errors.” SOURCE : BBCNEWS WEBSITE |
