What Do You Call Citizens Of These Countries; Equatorial Guinea; Panama; Laos; and Gilbratar? |
walex084:. What is the colour of the feacal matters of the weak ones? As for those you said are "blind", can you explain better? Is the blindness affecting the 2 eyes? |
Trueigbo:. Depending on the age of your birds, 78% daily laying rate may be considered acceptable. However, 1300 layers need 6.5 bags of 25kg feeds/per. That means your birds are being underfed. |
Beautiful. Thanks |
My take on this is the people we have in government lack the ingenuity required to solve our myriads of problems. Sports & agriculture are 2 areas, in addition to entertainment, capable of absorbing about 70% of the unemployed/underemployed Nigerians. However, our political leaders think development is all about erecting some physical structures without commensurate human development. As for money being put into football, it is true. However, the money being put into it isn't for development of the game, but for administrative overheads. THE SOLUTION? The solution lies with passionate individuals such as you and I. As for me, I've decided I'll ensure that Nigeria produces a grandslam winner in lawn tennis within the next 30 years. And am not looking up to the government for assistance. Am presently taking baby steps in that direction and am certain it is doable. You too can have similar dreams for development of basket ball in Nigeria. Success |
A good piece. The issues raised here are generally obvious to all objective and discerning minds. BH couldn't have succeeded in wrecking this much damage if there are no backers within the two big political parties. Truth be told, Nigeria's political system ensures that so much power is vested in the President that it won't take him much time to crush the insurgents only if he were sincere about doing so |
Avoid rapid acceleration, hard braking and frequent gear changes to save fuel Your car loses fuel every time you accelerate or brake. It guzzles up even more when you accelerate rapidly or brake suddenly. This is because the more you push the throttle, the higher the engine RPM or in simple terms, the more stress the motor takes. To get the most out of every litre of fuel accelerate gently, get to the highest gear as quickly as possible and then maintain a steady speed. Avoid jackrabbit or rapid starts while waiting at a red light and, of course, turn off the ignition if you’re stopping for over 20 seconds. Some studies say that keeping a light foot on the throttle can lower fuel consumption by as much as 30 percent! Similarly, there’s no need to race to a red light and slam brakes at the last moment. Unless, you get kicks from watching the fuel gauge needle drop rapidly to empty, which we doubt anyone does. But how does braking hard burn more fuel? Let’s say you accelerated to drive 500 metres but applied the brakes suddenly at 200 metres. In this case, while you burnt enough fuel to travel 500 metres, you stopped the car at just 200 metres. Frequent changing of gears and pressing of the clutch is another fuel sapper. Avoid keeping your foot on the clutch while waiting at red lights. Also, as aforesaid, get to the top gear as quickly as possible and shift to a lower gear only when required. Fortunately, most modern cars come with a gearshift indicator on the display, which tells drivers when to change gears, thus maximising fuel efficiency. While I'm not entirely opposed to the country as presently constituted dividing, it is my considered that you have not given any worthwhile reason to justify that course of action. What good have the state governors done despite most states in the country being largely homogeneous? What good has a typical LG chairman done despite leading his own kinsmen? Sometimes, I think it is too simplistic to claim that dividing the nation on tribal basis is the solution to her many malaise. LEARNING TO HOLD OUR LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE IS THE KEY. IMO. |
That depends on what the poison is and how it is stored. Many oganic poisons like most common insecticides and herbicides break down over time and eventually lose their toxicity. They become less poisonous, meaning you need a bigger dose, but you'd have to wait years after the expiration before it stopped working altogether. Some organic poisons have an expiry date for exactly the opposite reason. They break down, but they break down into more poisonous substances. Some herbicides for example gradually decay and produce dioxanes, some pesticides break down when exposed to water and produce a very potent volatile nerve gas. You can usually spot these poisons because the expiration date is very short and is printed as two dates: expiration date and shelf life from date of opening. The inorganic poisons like arsenic or mercury compounds tend not to break down as such. They have expiration dates because they absorb moisture from the air and change form chemically. That makes then harder to use and it also means they take longer to work. Instead of killing the animal within hours it might take days or months. Ironically the chemically altered form of arsenic is often more deadly insofar as it requires a smaller dose to be lethal. It's just less useful because it takes a long time to act. So the answer is, it can become less poisonous, it can become more poisonous, but poison is always poison https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=1006021000103 |
HENRIETTAPOWER:That is good news. You may still wish to give them artificial lighting. It'll sure help. Success, pls |
adedam007:I think you should check online for the locations of Choice Farm and/or Animal Care. One of them should close enough to your location. |
HENRIETTAPOWER. I've never heard about CapsFeed, so I wouldn't know if it is rich enough. However, I'll like to suggest that you give them artificial lightening. Let us say you put on bulb at the pen between 6pm & 9pm. As to the quantity being fed them, I'll advise you keep it at 90gramme/bird for now. Increasing it to 120g/bird now may be detrimental in the long-term. Meanwhile, why don't create a new topic about your concern? I believe more people will see it & may proffer needful solution. |
aAK1. AmoBygn Finished Feeds is quite good. I've used it for 3 set of layers and have always gotten great result. However, I can't say much about their Finisher. |
Adieu Dr Myles, Ruth & Charisa Munroe. Your lives were inspiring. Thanks for giving to the world. |
Temiegrace |
Hmmm. Eleyi gidi gan. Nothing more would be said. Otherwise, I may be tagged a GEJite or GMBite. Though, plenty dey to say |
Send pictures showing your face and the angle at which the thing is stuck. Until then, I can't prefer a solution |
Same applies here. Guess the issue is that the internal memory of your phone is relatively small. And with each update & usage, more memory space is used up. Even after deleting some apps, those left will use up the space freed up overtime. Long & short of it is; you need another phone; albeit with a larger memory size. |
At What Age Will They Outgrow The Cage? Or Can Birds Remain In It Till They Start & Finish Laying? |
A pest control firm exterminated 4,400 rats over two days at a state-run hospital in India with thousands still on the premises, its chief executive said on Thursday. According to Sanjay Karmakar, Head of Laxmi Fumigation and Pest Control Service Ltd., said that Maharaja Yeshwantrao in Indore, south of Delhi, was still home to over 10,000 rodents. However, the complex consists of seven buildings across about 10 acres. Karmakar said, “We have only tackled a part of the grounds so far they are riddled with rodent burrows, at least 1,000 of them. “Each would have four to eight rodents, we have not started on the buildings yet, the pest control firm is baiting the rodents with different food each day. “One day, it is peanuts and clarified butter, another day its roasted chickpeas, potato cakes and so on. “If one of a family dies after eating something, the other rats will not touch the same food, so we have to keep changing the menu.” Operation Kayakalp (transformation) began on Oct. 28 and is scheduled to run until Dec. 4. Karmakar’s company ran a similar operation at the hospital in 1994 soon after an outbreak of pneumonic plague in the neighbouring state of Gujarat. “We cremated 12,000 rodents at the local electric crematorium in the presence of government officials after Kayakalp I in 1994,’’ Karmakar said. However, there was no follow up by the hospital authorities and the rodents multiplied again. Report says the 950-bed hospital is one of the biggest government-run healthcare facilities in Madhya Pradesh state. It includes a medical college and is visited by over 1,100 outpatients daily. Officials said that poor refuse disposal was the main reason for the rat infestation. http://www.nigeriamasterweb.com/paperfrmes.html |
True with me. |
Impressive. We Need More Of His Type In The Country |
Grownaira. Why don't you create new/separate thread for this? I believe by so doing you get more traction & relevant suggestions. Meanwhile, I'm not much into broiler & may not be able to suggest something worthwhile here |
OP. Thanks for the response. However, I won't be making it to the event this year; I've prior engagements for today. Meanwhile, can you kindly post a notification of the 2015/related events here, 2 weeks before commencement day? With that, we won't have reasons not to be there. Thanks |
Wish I Heard Earlier, I Would Have Made Plans To Be There. What A Miss |
Meaningless Ranting. I Suspect You Are An Agent Of The Terrorists; Trying To Further Unnecessary Fear. |
Please, what is the poultry show all about? Am into poultry & interested in anything that might add to me. Kindly enlighten me. |
Nice idea. First thing to consider is which area of the City will the center be located? And what social class is your target audience from? For example, if the viewing center is to be located at Eleyele, the set-up & audience will be different from situating it at New Bodija. These (location & class of customers) will determine what you will put in place. While I was residing at Iyaganku GRA about 5 years back, to view a match at Joyce B hotel cost #100, while another place nearby was charging much less. Difference was the environment. Joyce B had a 42" flat screen TV, A.C. facilities & comfortable single seats. These reflected in the price. Hope you get my drift. Success. |
Why Always That Prison? Could There Be A Mole In The System? |
Farmtech. Thanks. Will Do Something In Line With Your Suggestion. Uboma. Ok. You're Appreciated |
Thanks Uboma. Mercylicious. They are being fed the expected quantity. While, I had thought of supplying artificial light due to the shorter day-length, I decided against it in the interim as it is only advisable after the birds have started laying on their own. All the same, thanks a bunch |
