There must be something wrong in their human resources management because of the rate most of their staff complain about how they are being treated. The worst mistake any financial institution can make is to ignore the welfare of their staff knowing fully well that their "stock-in-trade" is cash and financial instruments. |
Friday, April 30 03:09 pm SkyNews © Sky News 2010 * Buzz Up! * Print Story A grandmother has shocked her friends and family after revealing she is having a baby with her own grandson. Pearl Carter, 72, says she has never been happier after beginning an incestuous relationship with her 26-year-old grandchild Phil Bailey. The pensioner, from Indiana, US, is using her pension to pay a surrogate mother so they can have a child, reports New Zealand's New Idea magazine. She said: "I'm not interested in anyone else's opinion. I am in love with Phil and he's in love with me. "Soon I'll be holding my son or daughter in my arms and Phil will be the proud dad." Her lover is the son of Pearl's daughter Lynette Bailey - who she put up for adoption when she was 18-years-old. When his mother passed away, Phil tracked down his long lost grandmother and they quickly fell in love. Pearl told New Idea magazine: "From the first moment that I saw him, I knew we would never have a grandmother-grandson relationship. "For the first time in years I felt sexually alive." It was during their second week together, after dinner and wine, that Pearl made her move. "I called Phil into my bedroom, sat him on the bed, and then I leant over and kissed him," she added. "I expected rejection but instead he kissed me back." Phil revealed: "I wanted to kiss her there and then. My feelings were overwhelming. "I love Pearl with all my heart. I've always been attracted to older women and I think Pearl is gorgeous. Now I'm going to be a dad and I can't wait. "Yes, we get laughed at and bullied when we go out and kiss in public but we don't care. You can't help who you fall for." The pair paid $54,000 (£35,000) to find a surrogate mother and buy a donor egg to inseminate with Phil's sperm. They placed an advert asking for an open-minded surrogate, and Roxanne Campbell applied. "Initially I was shocked," says Roxanne, 30. "But they're a brilliant pair and I saw how much they loved each other. I know the baby will be loved too." Pearl said: "I am finally going to be a mum and not forced to give up my child. Phil's going to be a great dad. "I never in a million years thought at 72 I'd be 'pregnant' and in love with my grandson. "I make no apologies and I believe God's given me a second chance."

@ poster: so many missing links in your story. U cud start by answering the questions of N101 |
So so sad. We had a similar case in my school 2 years ago. The boy (a final year student)left school for home in Lagos but never reached home. It was only after 3days the rest of us noticed that he was missing. A month later, investigations showed that he withdrew money from his bank account in Kaduna. That was the last we heard. The boy was later found after 9months when it was as if all hope had been lost. He now calls himself LAZARUS. I feel for Niran's parents; especially his mum. I pray that Niran will be found this month. There is nothing impossible with God. |

On Monday, the DG of NYSC said that corpers posted to Jos should remain calm and should not move about anyhow in Jos. Will that solve the problem? NO. The people residing in Jos were in their homes, probably sleeping jeje before they were brutally killed. Perhaps the NYSC officials decided to post only people residing in Jos and/or Hausas/ Moslems to serve in Jos, perhaps. |
Just heard on 6:00pm news on RayPower fm that 902 corpers were sworn-in in Jos. |

@ Aieromon: So so true about the salary for youth corpers that served with Zenith. @ poster: U have no reason to complain. They paid corpers that served with them =N=35,000 after their youth service. With the so called small salary u earn, have u tried to upgrade urself in professional certifications? U can always walk away. Ur post as ET is not a do-or-die affair. Try and see the bigger picture. Where do u see urself in the next 5yrs? Do u see urself earning just a fat salary package or doing an activity or job that gives u ur desired satisfaction. |

I went for an interview and one of the interviewers was like "So you say you are chartered, where is ur certificate". I replied,"I just got chartered and until I attend my induction later this year before I will be given a certificate". The next statement that came out of his mouth was the most idiotic statement that someone who claims to be a professional should. His response was ''Then you are not yet a chartered accountant''. He went further to brag about his certificate and that he also lectures. I simply replied again that whether or not u have been inducted, once u pass ur qualifying exams that is the most important part. I find it hard to believe that someone within the age of 30-35years could brag to another that he is older than by 10years or more of his ''superior'' chartered accountant status. Take it or leave it there are young scholars these days that get qualified at age 20. While some people are busy equipping themselves with other certifications, some are standing on their roof tops and parading themselves as local champions. |
@ poster: Yes oooo, I concur. It's gud to exercise self-control whether free or not. Awuff dey run belle o. Take my brother for example, he has been having sleepless nights because of this phone browsing of a thing. It got so bad that one day when we were about to pound yam, he held his phone on one hand, even though he was downloading a software. I've given him a target of a day without browsing. If this happens, then I'll know d spell is over ;--))) lol. Hmm, he is a heavy poster on Nairaland esp this section so I'm not surprised. |
@ Ade_Creeze:- Do u need to ask again? U'll notice that its the poster and a helper, just 2 usernames that kept on thanking themselves to increase d number of posts. |
