Jobs/VacanciesRe: Mattventura Is Calling For Jobs by Eggyloo: 8:53pm On Oct 16, 2009
Isn't administration charge meant to be when job seeker has gotten the job? I guess u want to allow ''Richmond'' reach his target at the detriment of others.

CareerRe: Is It Worth The Trouble? by Eggyloo(op): 8:18pm On Oct 16, 2009
I believe a good start salary is a relative concept that involves considering the distance, number of working hours per day, the job function and job satisfaction.

This could be between 30,000 and 100,000; depending on the factors mentioned above.

You could also check this thread '' How much is a good salary worth in Nigeria? ''
PoliticsRe: Under Superman Fashola Potholes Are In Multiples In Lagos Roads by Eggyloo: 7:41pm On Oct 16, 2009
@ poster:- Pls spare me ur long gist. There are many state roads that have been ignored by various administrations but when Fashola became the governor, work was resumed and now my area that had been long forsaken and abandoned has become the pride of alimosho local govt.

If only other state govts can do a quarter of what Fashola is doing, i bet you, Nigeria would be transformed to a beautiful nation.

AdvertsRe: 2011 Dv Lottery Has Begin by Eggyloo: 6:59pm On Oct 08, 2009
@ atkis n venuss: Good thing u posted, but if u noticed even after ur posts, pple still kept on sending their e-mail addresses. I wonder why some pple are not patient enough to look at details.

All u dudes posting ur mail address, be careful. It isnt good for a person to be too desperate. Ensure u analyse things before jumping. Remember, this is the season most pple would portray themselves as having the techniques of making US Lottery successful. Is it possible for about 5,000,000 people to apply and 80% of them taken.

@ poster: if u actually wanted to help, u shud have included the essential info & better still, the website.
SportsRe: Germany Vs Nigeria (U-20 World Cup) [3 -2] Ouch! by Eggyloo: 9:48pm On Oct 07, 2009
So the summary of the cause of our loss, scrolling from most posts, are:
1. The role of Haruna was a minus to the team. Therefore, Haruna can be likened to Garba Lawal.
cheesy cheesy

2. Siasia didn't replace the injured player on time. Therefore, he is slow in taking strategic decisions.

3. The entire team as a unit could not use the 1-man down to their advantage.

Anyhowz, I'm about to eat. I cant allow this to weigh me down. Besides, what can u do to an eagle that has refused to fly? Let the eagle mingle with the ducks.

Afterall, the shocker from flying eagles is not as bad as super eagles. If it were to be super eagles, I would scarcely watch the match. cheesy cheesy
SportsRe: Germany Vs Nigeria (U-20 World Cup) [3 -2] Ouch! by Eggyloo: 9:14pm On Oct 07, 2009
We really postponed our defeat, remember we just manage to qualify from the group. Everything seemed so right at the beginning until a one minute mistake caused this great fall. Flying eagles welcome back to Naija.
CareerIs It Worth The Trouble? by Eggyloo(op): 3:29pm On Oct 07, 2009
A friend of mine(BSc Holder) that stays close to Ogun State has been called to resume work in a company on the Island. Salary is between 31,000 and 37,000.

Fellow Nairalanders, Is it worth the trouble considering the distance involved and where my friend stays is very quiet before 6:00am as Okada riders do not operate at that time (since he/she must leave home latest 5:30am to beat traffic) and the traffic again coming back.
Besides, lateness attracts deduction of a certain amount from salary.

@ Joe50: I thot so too but i opened google, they deducted and I felt small thing but when i opened facebook, nna men, without uploading or posting, they charged me heavily for it. Since then, I switched over.
PhonesRe: Mtn Has Gone A.w.o.l Again! by Eggyloo: 3:03pm On Oct 07, 2009

Anyways, Etisalat is the mainest thing ooooo. The link is reliable and fast.
PhonesRe: Phone Users: When Did You Visit Cyber-Cafe Last? by Eggyloo: 3:29am On Oct 06, 2009
I visited public cyber cafe last about 4years ago to browse apart from printing out registration docs. I dread going to cybercafes because most of their links are highly unreliable & nowadays, most cafes are mushroom sized and u get busy-bodies peeping at everything u type or read. Joined the MTN club of ''awoof'' in July but since they've been unpredictable I've migrated to 0, 8, 0, 9ja 4 life. Etisalat is the ''bestest'' ooooooo.
SportsRe: Nigeria (2) Vs Tunisia (2) on Sunday 6th September by Eggyloo: 9:30pm On Sep 08, 2009
My question for super eagles is: ''Why use all ur life lines on question one when on the hot seat and then stare at the audience for help to reach a gauranteed level''

The reason World Cup is not yearly is because FIFA expects it to be the battle of the last man standing which reflects the level of preparation.

My cry in 2005 when we could not qualify was that we should use our misfortune of not going to build a better team. Unfortunately, 4years after we are still on the same issue.

NFA would soon start sourcing for a foreign technical adviser. If Eguavon and Siasia our very own could make us proud, I do not see the use of looking outside Nigeria. Besides, our super eagles are not hungry for national team as they are for their foreign clubs; compared to Golden Eaglets who scramble dearly for ball because they want to grow.

So NFA, make 2014 a reality and start planning now!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Oil And Gas For Immediate Employment by Eggyloo: 5:05pm On Sep 06, 2009
Yes ooooo. Pls pls and pls, job seekers, be careful with WHO and the ADDRESSES you send your CV to.
@ Jodeci: thanks for exposing.

@ poster: Besides, why should a company with that number of vacancies use a personal address for sending CVs?
CareerRe: Career Change- Fed Up Of Accounting. by Eggyloo: 6:31pm On Aug 29, 2009
@ poster:- U should build ur career in what u are passionate about . Even though accounting is ''the bomb'', after u've graduated u could go for British Computer Society if that's what u are passionate about but hey look!!!, what aspect of Information Technology do u want to specialise in?

It would interest u to know that IT and Accounting can be merged. U could become an IT auditor or go for a professional course like CISA. Funny enough, I have some friends that studied Mgt Information Systems as their 1st degree and still went further to write ACCA & CISA exams, while some that studied Accounting want to learn Oracle.

It's not too late dude.
FoodRe: What Can You Eat With N100? by Eggyloo: 7:02pm On Aug 25, 2009
Food is relatively cheap in my area. You could buy:
=N=50 rice,
=N=10 Beans,
=N=15 Plantain,
=N=20 Meat,&
=N=5 Pure Water

And U 'll eat to ur satisfaction.
Hi-Tech Construction workers & secondary school children can testify to this. What am I saying sef, at-times they spend =N=70!!!!
CareerRe: From A Heart That Loves Oceanic Bank by Eggyloo: 6:39pm On Aug 25, 2009
I believed in Cecilia Ibru's regime but what I noticed in Oceanic Bank branches I have visited is the overcrowded banking hall and front desk officer(s) most of the time are not courteous to customers.

I must admit that the best customer service I've had are from Spring Bank and Intercontinental because their staff pay attention to customers, even though they are doing well right now.

I just hope the new MD CEO of Oceanic Bank is able to instill ''customer service excellence'' culture and give the bank focus.

CareerRe: Why Nigerians Don't Get Jobs When They Apply by Eggyloo: 10:17pm On Aug 13, 2009
@poster: Wow!!This is a nice piece, one every job seeker should go thru. Though I wish I saw it a day before but its neva too late to improve one's self. I've learnt how to present a better cover page from ur post and how to be more careful in sending CV's. Thanks.
The most common mistake is that of forwarding cv's, listing too many skills and stating too many objectives. Remember, a CV is like an undergrad project which each student would be called to defend individually.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Graduates In The Uk:pls,i Need Your Advice -should I Go Back To The Uk? by Eggyloo: 3:29pm On Aug 10, 2009
@ poster: all comments and advice u need has been said. They sound like words from the elders. Someone once told me dat b4 things get to its turning point to change for the better, it actually gets too bad & looks as if there's no hope left.
In these present times, u need to keep be strong and never be discouraged; even thou there might be discouragement.
To me, i believe in sourcing for jobs in Naija. The final decision is urs.
