Well, I blame the girl for making public a private issue between her and her father; that's the reason you could call him stupid...

Religion / Re: Should Christian Women Wear Makeup Or Jewelry? by egodswill(m): 8:36am On Mar 11, 2018
CuteMadridista:
According to OP, makeup and jewelry wearing is okay as long as its "Modest". That word in quote is what my question would be based upon

WHO IS THE JUDGE OF WHAT'S "MODEST" AND WHATS NOT?

The reason I ask is because, what's "modest" varies from place to place and from time to time. the average Nigerian youths female dressing today would be regarded as a prostitute's dressing decades ago and what's regarded by majority to be "modest" in America today might be seen as immodest in Nigeria.

To give you an example which most Nairalanders can relate to. in the mid nineties when trouser wearing was just getting into Nigeria, a lot of religious people not only called it immodest but many infact called trouser wearing "Demonic". Today, reverse is the case as several churches allow females to wear trousers even when coming to church

my question again, who is the judge of what's modest and what's not?

CC: egodswill PharmaGirl PstBiola haryorbarmie83 Amarabae ishilove Emmanystone

Nice question... So, let's talk: how do we determine what's modest or what's not?

Today's, so called tongue speaking sisters dress like night clubbers to church and to them it's modest because it's the normal dress code all around... Does that made it OK?

Some wear outlandish makeups like the eyelashes they fix and look like owl grin... Some show their breasts everywhere like Pof Pof for sale...

Jesus Christ's death gave us liberty from the law.

....and gave you license to sin or wear ungodly clothes?

The law said thou shall not kill, don't commit adultery, don't bear false witness,.... Etc...
So, we are now free from these laws? So, New Testament is sin galore? Please, think again

Liberty from the law doesn't mean freedom from obeying God's moral principles, but freedom from the bondage of the law as we now have the Spirit in us to help us obey those laws...

They should first become born again and wear good and godly character...

After this, the Spirit in them will guide them about what to wear and how to wear it...

What we have mostly today as so-called christian women are arrogant, proud ladies, who hardly submit to their men, are largely worldly minded, dress half-naked in seductive satanic attire, and yet, speak in tongues... shocked cool

I want to buy dollars easily from my home and I read that I can buy from everdon bdc.

They claim that they will credit your dollar account after sending Naira to their account.

Please, has anyone dealt with them?

Kindly share your experience just to help me and others understand their services...

Religion / Re: Stephanie Otobo Shows Money Apostle Suleman Paid Her Via Statement Of Account by egodswill(m): 5:54pm On Apr 08, 2017
In my opinion....

Account statement showing cash transfers from Suleiman may be admissible as evidence of some relationship or communication or business between both of them but NOT evidence in itself (alone) to prove her accusations against him...

She stays overseas, and many times Nigerians at home pays cash to Nigeria's bank accounts of people in diaspora for easy transfers and/or easy cash equivalent payment to foreign parties..

More evidences required to prove her case...

He looks like he will rather be in the bed with Okeke and Otobo than to be playing this fake love game. You can fake postures but not facial expressions. He looks distracted and obviously posing for the camera.

Hi wife also needs to upgrade herself. Has she seen Okeke's dressing? Okeke is using the church money for better looking clothes and shoes. Not this awkward raincoat she wore to play in the garden. It's obvious Alfa Sule does not spend as much church tithes on his wife as ms Okeke, because this dress style was popular about 5yrs ago.

Abeg, him wife fine... Better and more decently clothed... See her sweet face... See her fine set...

The last time I checked, Okeke was more naked than clothed... Wearing only bra in her last video...

So.... After the whole scandal and accusations, the following still holds:

1. Suleiman still lives with his wife, and happily so, possibly happier than before..

2. Suleiman still retains his global followership -- no proof his membership or influence diminished..

3. The Christian community leadership has not in anyway excommunicated Suleiman...

But.... It appears (from her dressing during interviews and comments) that lady has officially entered a book of record as an international stripper and prostitute ...

Lesson: the world isn't ready to listen to you and won't give a hoot about what you say, if you yourself isn't credible enough to be believed...

Career / Top 5 Habits That Will Lead You To Success... by egodswill(m): 9:21pm On Mar 14, 2017
It would be unreasonable to suggest that top names in business don't have a strategy or certain routines that have ultimately led them to huge success. In fact there is a long list of habits that an entrepreneur may adhere to.

Take a minute to think about what they could be? … Now let's take a look...

Adopt These Habits Now:

Get Up Early

Big names like Richard Branson (Founder of Virgin Media) and Tim Cook (Apple CEO) encourage getting up early to start a successful day. Very often you will find they have a solid morning routine and they do it every day without failing -- whether it's having an early breakfast, reading emails, sipping coffee, or just siting and thinking out the next idea. Those early hours seem to be the best times to plan the day and prepare the mind to surmount challenges.

Work Hard
If you ask any successful person, they will tell you ultimately the key to success is hard work, and to recognise that there are no times when you can't work, even through the rough patches.

Mark Cuban, owner of NBA's Dallas Mavericks, said: "Work like there is someone working 24 hours a day to take it all away from you". If Mark Cuban’s outlook (and his success story which proves it) doesn't motivate you to do just that, I don't know what will.

Find Success, In Failure.
There is no harm in failing, it is the most important teacher you will ever have. The American automobile manufacturer, Henry Ford, once said: “Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently”.

But do not dwell on the challenges or rationalise the failure. Find a way to be positive, being negative is a waste of energy; and trust me, you don’t have that much energy to waste.

Work Out
A huge proportion of successful people report part of their morning routine is to work out before the day starts. You would be surprised at how many successful people all share this common habit. Working out helps them get ready for the day; helps them focus and relieves tension. Richard Branson, Howard Schultz and Michelle Obama are among them.

People are busy quarreling about the title, not actually debating the contents as published...

Being the leader of a Northern interest group, can we say his assessment of the present administration (as quoted below) is correct and unbiased?:

Yes. We are disappointed. Nigerians are disappointed. The Buhari administration is a failure. It is a monumental failure because this is not what Nigerians expected when they gave him the mandate in 2015.

If yes, then I think it's time we engaged one another, irrespective of ethno-political divide, in seeking solution to our collective problems, Nigeria is ours.
