PLSHELEP: Don't be scared. I personally think winter is the best time to enter. No pretenses, the weather gives it to you hot hot... or in this case cold cold.
Layer up and you'll be fine. Thank you for your kind words |

wizean: The weather suddenly changed of recent. It gets too dry at night and we wake up with uncomfortable sinuses and bleeding nostrils. There is a way I apply the Balm with the humidifier and it gives so much of relief when it saturates the room. Obviously I would still be needing it till around March next year, so I don't mind December. I assume you aren't a first timer here for you to choose to come in December. I will bring them for you then. Meanwhile, I am a first timer o. I’m so scared with all the reports about the weather. |

einsteino: Yes, you may send a pm. Just to keep your expectations in check, pls note that it is a very small group and it is often quiet unless there is really something to talk about or answer. I totally understand. I have some engineering questions that I want to ask in the group. Sending the pm now |

einsteino: There is a chemical Engineer I know that recently landed a process engineer job, you might want to hook up with him for pointers. We have a very small whatsapp group of Nigerian Engineers in Canada, it might help to join the group to get a diverse opinion as I can only know so little outside my discipline(Civil Engrng). Pls can you add me to the whatsapp group? I have a background in petroleum engineering and hope to be landing in Alberta in the later part of the year. Can I pm you my details? Thank you |

Greetings to all our seniors in the house. I’ve been following this thread from the first part even before I got Ppr. I’m currently awaiting COPR and I’m trying to plan the next phase of my life, my career especially. I’ve gotten loads of tips and answers to most questions I had in mind since I’ve been reading through the thread and I must express my gratitude for the time taken to respond to all questions. God bless all who took time to respond and assist in various ways. At the moment, let’s just say I’m worried of my career path, being that I have a B.Eng in Petroleum Engineering and with the stories I’ve been reading about the economy in Alberta... not sure anymore if that’s a favourable career path. I planned to do a masters in the same petroleum engineering, with the mindset that it will help me integrate properly in the system but I’m not sure anymore. I wouldn’t mind the inputs of our seniors especially those in engineering and any other person with words of wisdom for me. Cc @salford1 @sixsigma @maternal @blackbuddy @vcole @ all the good people in the house |

Stencil: Please edit and delete part of the quoted post. It makes the thread unnecessarily long. Thanks! I’m so sorry about the long post. I’m still getting used to communicating here. Forgive me |
