170,000,000 population and generating 5000mw of electricity and Nigerians celebrate....now i see there is no hope for that country. its even a shame for the government to announce that. it shows the level of backwardness in that place. it should be the country generating the lowest mw in the world. FYI i am not politicizing any thing here, just stating the fact. |

A man who knocked a 16-year-old girl unconscious in a street attack because he "didn't like the way she looked at him" has been jailed for four years. Michael Ayoade was caught on CCTV running up behind teenage student Tasneem Kabir in Plaistow, east London, and punching her in the face just after midday on November 13 last year. The footage was released by the Metropolitan Police in a bid to catch the man, who turned and ran off seconds after delivering the blow, which knocked the teenager out and left her sprawled on the pavement. When arrested by officers, the 34 year-old, of Plaistow, told officers that he had attacked her because "she didn't have a friendly face" and said that "she had started it" - even saying she had "intimidated him". Ayoade told police that the schoolgirl "made (him) feel like a pauper with her facial gestures" and that he "couldn't cope with taking an insult from a little person like that".He admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm at an earlier hearing and today was jailed for four years at Inner London Crown Court. At a previous court hearing on February 5 this year, Ayoade admitted an attack on another stranger at Plaistow tube station the year before on November 20 2011. Again, his victim was knocked unconscious after being punched in the face as she waiting to buy a ticket for the Tube. A third charge relating to an attack on a third woman on New Year's Day 2012 - again at Plaistow Station - was dropped by the prosecution earlier this year. The court heard how the attack on 16-year-old Tasneem Kabir - who was just yards from her family home in Plaistow - had knocked her unconscious and that when she came round she had three broken teeth and a split lip. Prosecutor Bandana Batra told Thames Magistrates Court previously how Tasneem Kabir was walking along with her brother when she realised she had forgotten her mobile phone, leaving him to go home and get it. She told the court: "She (Tasneem) remembers seeing the defendant looking at her from the other side of the road as she went back (to collect her mobile phone). "As she came out he was inside the gates to her street and she says he approached her and was within 30cm of her face. She found this strange but she carried on walking. "He started jogging up behind Miss Kabir and he struck her her on the side of the head causing her to lose consciousness and that's why she doesn't remember what happened. She added: "It was an unprovoked attack on in a lone female. She is pretty petite in size - you can see the size of Mr Ayoade. "He said he admitted to doing it, it was a misunderstanding on his part. He had had too much to drink and smoke that day. "He said he was going about his business and was intimidated by her look, she looked like she wanted a fight. "He did not approve of the way she looked so he went back and punched her...." Speaking after the attack, the teenager said: "I was walking and I saw a guy coming towards me - I walked away and walked towards Plaistow station and that's it - I don't remember him coming up behind me. "It was really bad. I had a migraine, my chin was grazed and sore, my teeth were hurting because they were chipped and I couldn't talk." http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/crime/9892995/Man-who-knocked-16-year-old-girl-unconscious-in-street-attack-jailed.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebJBVqrZHGM

You also sound like a bigot and tribalist. why has heartbreak got to do with tribe? she broke you heart just like any other girl have done. pick up the pieces and move on. it has nothing to do with where the girl comes from. Its what she wanted and i think you just turned this into tribal issues. Welcome to the matters of the heart. |
