PoliticsPreventing The Desperate Drug Baron Access To Ebonyi State Government Hou by Eidolon(op): 12:36pm On Nov 19, 2024
It has come to the attention of the Association of Umuekumenyi Elites, of which I am the Publicity Secretary, that some unscrupulous individuals are sponsoring Chukwuma Odii - a man known for his drug dealings and lack of integrity - to attack and smear the image and administration of our illustrious son, Governor Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru, with malicious falsehood, sinister misrepresentation of facts, and desperate campaigns of calumny aimed at distracting him from his visionary leadership.

Umuekumenyi Elites wants to sound a warning to Chukwuma Odii and his band of mischievous supporters, who erroneously believe that they’re in the shadows, without realizing that their identities are fully known to us, that we will expose them and their diabolical plans for Ebonyi State.

Through Moses Idika, the head of the media of Chukwuma Odii’s campaign organization, Anyi’ Ga Emeya Movement, a malicious falsehood was released against our son, His Excellency Governor Francis Nwifuru.

We understand why Chukwuma Odii is desperate to smear the governor in his deluded hope that it will help his capture of Ebonyi State Government House to provide protection and storage for his dwindling drug manufacturing business, and to use the purse of the Ebonyi State government to finance his drug business.

This is the sole reason why Chukwuma Odii is willing to spew all kinds of falsehood, disinformation, half-truths, malevolent propaganda, and deliberate misrepresentations against the person of the governor and his administration. But, one thing the intellectually deficient Chukwuma Odii, who parades a big echo chamber for a head, forgets to realize is that nothing he does will stop Governor Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru from going for two terms in office.

Umuekumenyi Elites will not sit by and watch a character like Chukwuma Odii smear the image of our son, Governor Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru.

In his falsehood, Chukwuma Odii shamelessly alleged that governor Nwifuru bought SUVs valued at N10 billion Naira for himself, his wife, the speaker and the chief judge, without clarifying that these cars were bought for all members of the legislative, all high court judges in the state, and members of the state executive council and was duly appropriated for by the state assembly. Unlike in the past where properties bought with state money are privatized through the monetization policy.

Under Governor Francis Nwifuru, such purchases are done through due-process and are assigned as properties of the different government arms and departments as the case might be. Housing quarters do not individually belong to the judges but the judiciary, same with official cars, thereby ensuring continuity and reducing recurrent expenditure.

It is really shameful and regrettable that Chukwuma Odii is not mentally equipped to be aware of these and needs to recruit some aides that can slowly and painstakingly explain it to him like a toddler.

As the Publicity Secretary of the Association of Umuekumenyi Elites, I uses this medium to call on all Nigerians, particularly the people of Ebonyi State to ignore the falsehoods of Chukwuma Odii because they are the rants of a man frantically desperate to use the resources of Ebonyi State to revitalize his dwindling drug manufacturing business and enrich his pockets with our collective patrimony.

Signed,
Dr. Joseph Ogaranya Nkalagu
Publicity Secretary,
Association of Umuekmuenyi Elites

My igboness is pure and reliable and my support for atikuobi unchecked coz I understand what such can bring to all....i reason and breathe igbo but I doubt if u do same.

Am only stating a verifiable facts that is even visible to the blind.........it may sound funny but is going down the permutations.

as of today nobody is leading atikuobi campaign in enugu and ebonyi state....full blooded fact.

Added to the grand plan is mbaka being used to execute the master plan.....to work in line.
They believe his grand followers will sway vote against obi no wonder u guys are using him to endorse buhari publicly......maybe this is still hypocrisy abi?
So, based on your support, you think it is wise to insult revered Igbo leaders like Umahi and Ekweremadu?

If Peter Obi even an asset to PDP and Atiku? Peter Obi that couldn't win his state for PDP in 2015 even though he was in charge of South East campaign.

Peter Obi is actually a liability to PDP and Atiku presidential bid. He has no grassroots structure and support in SE.

You cannot compare Obi to a man like Ekweremadu who, almost singlehandedly, ensured the survival of PDP. If it wasn't for DSP Ekweremadu, there would have been no PDP for Atiku and others to join.
LLobiorah:
No man!!
Your writeup posits your inclinations bro!
If you hate no ebonyi, You wouldn't judge the lot over umahi's political inclinations or ekweremadu's. Tackle these two men, and leave the citizenry alone; it ain't much to ask for, if you really know your onions.

And you won't deny the fact, that you have never displayed ugly vituperations and angst on this platform against ebonyians. Bros, my response to you tonight, is as a result of those nkogheri gi. And possibly tonight's responses and opening of your nyash, would be the last you will get from me.

Tomorrow, You can unchain yourself and act as a rabid hater that you are. Forming gentleman like person no sabi you.

Child of hate!
Why should he tackle DSP Ekweremadu and Gov Umahi? Who is even Peter Obi? A man who could not win his State for PDP in 2015 despite all the resources he had at his disposal as SE presidential campaign coordinator for GEJ.

If it wasn't for the same DSP Ekweremadu that some brainless folks are insulting, would they have been any PDP left for others to join?

Atiku’s decisions and Gov. Wike’s hypocrisy*
 December 5th, 2018

By Desmond Okotie

Was I the only one, who read about Governor Nyesom Wike’s “attempted” resignation as South South Campaigns Coordinator as splashed in the front page of Sun Newspaper last Saturday (1st December 2018)? So, Wike too wants to be consulted? What a double standard!

As a Christian, I am pretty sure Wike is very familiar with the Bible verse (Luke 6: 38), which says that the measure you give is the measure you receive.

When South East PDP leaders expressed their discontentment over the manner Atiku Abubakar named his running mate without consulting or even giving them prior information on his choice as the beneficiary geopolitical zone before announcing it, those who should know better responded by blackmailing and besmearing them in the social media. They didn’t reject Peter Obi’s nomination oo. But they were described in unprintable terms, called names, and each accused of nursing vice presidential ambitions (as if it is a crime). They were branded as spoilers and political never-do-wells asking for too much. After all, they don’t have two heads. They also have a PVC like every other citizen.

Governor Wike, who was still smarting from the self-inflicted humiliation of failure to “singlehandedly” deliver Governor Aminu Tambuwal as PDP’s presidential candidate as he desperately wanted (for whatever reason), accused South East PDP leaders of poke-nosing. After all, they facilitated Atiku’s emergence through their regional block. So, as far as he was concerned, it was very okay that they heard the news of Obi’s nomination as breaking news like none-PDP populations of Nigeria.

Wike gloated on the 1st November 2018 edition of Sun Newspaper that “the mere fact that the vice presidential candidate is coming from the South-East does not give the zone the sole right to nominate a person since the entire country will benefit”.

When the South-East said they were not consulted before Peter Obi was nominated, where did we meet as a party to agree that the vice presidential candidate must come from the South-East. But, we said, if the presidential candidate believes he has somebody to work with, so be it”, Wike added in a bid to add salt to injury.

So, I was surprised and truly had a good laugh reading in the papers how Wike whinnied, complained, and tried resigning as the South South coordinator of the Presidential Campaign Council for non-consultation in the appointment of heads of directorates of the Campaign Council.

According to the Sun newspaper report, “Barely a month after, Saturday Sun gathered that Wike is not comfortable with the way things are going in the campaign especially lack of consultations of appropriate party leaders before vital decisions and appointments are made”.

Haba, Wike, I thought consultation has become a political anathema. Why the double standard? Why are you being so “selfish”, “childish”, and “asking for too much” like those South East PDP leaders. Don’t tell me that you are not aware that whatever is good for the goose is also good for the gander.

Anyway, I am happy some senior party stalwarts have prevailed on you to reconsider your decision. Please, oga Atiku, don’t mind my elder brother, Wike. As a workalcoholic governor, he can be temperamental sometimes. When he sobers, he would remember that the Waziri Adamawa retains a blank cheque to decide everything without consultations. After all, one good Waziri head is better than 100 put together.

I wonder why you and Wike are pained over non-consultation? You guys argued that South East leaders weren't meant to be consulted and therefore their protestations were misguided.

Okay, that is fine, but why then are yous beefing Atiku for not consulting Wike? Isn't it hypocrisy to say that SE leaders shouldn't be consulted yet want Wike to be consulted?

My friend, go back to sleep joor. It is obvious that you didn't sleep well last night.
