hmmm...the post you quoted was not a scholarly assessment of Economics, I only invoked "miserly" to casually get rid of the prestigiously noble Economics from the mind of the would-be respondents. Of course, it will be sheer naivety and inexcusable ignorance on my part to scholarly denigrate the importance of Economics to the society by reducing it to a mere parsimony. Besides, my post was never set out to be a treatise on Economics. All the same, thanks for pinpointing the prudent nature of Economics.

True, but dead mathematics can't pay the expected interest and account would probably rule it off as a bad debt, presumably there was a collateral and the agreement signed between mathematics and law allowed law to take control of the collateral so he was probably gonna sue based on the contractual agreement (the collateral)

Well thought out analysis. But, considering the presumptive existence of collateral, both economics and account can as well lay claim on the properties pledged by the late Mathemaics.

Guess what? I think law is the obvious answer.
Using the principle of pattern deduction; since the story is about central unifying theme(i.e characteristics or jargon) of each subject, and the word "SUE" appears in the story which is a legal cliche..... then, law was responsible for the statement.
Wow, the story is not much of a conundrum after all and neither does it require rocket science to crack.
