sherina10: Yes he has done so much for me but what he wanted is children thank God I'm having one very soon so I won't be all selfish though he said he loves me n wish he met me earlier, as far as am concerned he has done no wrong to me but I just think I'm not suppose to be his wife, we don't belong to the same world so I'm going for a second degree n make myself independent. If I become independent i can at least have a voice. i hope u won't regret taking dat decision later |

CSTR2: What are you on about? The SW is well represented in pressid. And no, the SW does not have not the highest numbers of first class per capital. In your SW schools, the SS and SE are well represented in like 40-50% of the total student population and then when you look at schools in the SS and SE , the number of yorubas there is not very encouraging. The stats are very correct. list d schools whr SE/SS have 40%-50% of d total population n tell me hw u came about it? dis is d way u guys claimed u av d highest population in Lagos n u thought u r d majority in Nigeria during election dat led to GEJ defeat.....my guy i tink u r only LITERATE nt EDUCATED |

Babyosisi I saw ur advice it was one of a kind but I couldn't mail u because d worst had already happened then.
I was pregnant n I didn't even realise maybe God wanted to punish me for being selfish though I will soon put to birth as I'm almost due, I still had ur mail in my diary n what I wanted to mail u then, my husband also saw the thread n became very unhappy.
I really appreciate your advice and your understanding, thank you very much.
By the grace of God what I'm planning to do after I put to birth is get another marketable degree which will take maybe 5 years or so outside the country and hubby has agreed to sponsor me, after that I might get a job n become independent then maybe have my life back but I don't want to be dependent of any man ever again. @ babyosisi what do you think? so u plan to leave him after u might av become independent after all he's done for u?..... |

jejemanito: You're on 2:1 and you're misusing a word as simple as 'inhibit'? everyone is fallible no one is perfect |
Education › Re: How Do I Imbibe The Habit Of Reading? by eitsei(op): 2:55am On Apr 13, 2015 |
Samakinr: Well firstly, i don't think you meant to write 'inhibit'. When you inhibit something, it means you wanna stop it. I'll assume you wanted to write 'imbibe'... If so, here is my own little advice: 1. Have the right drive. By this i mean, have a target of what you wanna have in an exam, (do you know you can actually be better than 2:1?), have a vision of what you wanna become in your field. Just a graduate in the field of a thorough professional?... Your set vision will spur you to read more. 2. Reshuffle your friends... Birds of feathers flock together... If you keep people that reads, their character rubs on you and you join them in time although, you must abide with what suits you most but then, there're times that you'll need encouragement. These are the people that will drag you to library when laziness wanna crept in. 3. Have a target every semester, for every test exam, and practicals... I mean high expectations that is higher than your perceived ability...trust me, it works. I call it 'positive pressure... .....my advice.... thanks for the correction and for the advice |

I'm a currently a 200 level student in one of the Federal universities in south west and my CGPA is on 2:1 but the problem I have is reading/studying constantly before exam. it's bad to the extent that sometimes I might have not read a course before until a day to write it during exams though I still manage to scale through having good grades at the end But the thing is I want to be enjoying reading like some people I see always reading because I have started doing courses that is deeply related to my course of study and I want to have thorough knowledge about them not just read to pass that I do most times.... what do u think I can do? your helpful opinions and suggestions are needed...... thanks |
