RealAdewole: some serious private firms in nigeria also place what you can offer above certificate. I know someone that teach mathematics in a school who do not have a degree in math, among the applicant that he was interviewed with was a Msc statistics and a math graduate, the Msc guy was given a second chance to prepare and to be interviewed again another day, because the school was keen on employing someone with a higher qualification, but it was he that did nothing realated with math that finally land the job I teach maths, physics and chemistry and I don't have a degree in any of them but I'm good at what I do |

forgiveness: Oh! Really!? How? Was it by the 10 goals Osimhen scored? I know Aubameyang scored more than that. Are you aware?
If I go by your assertion, Youssef En-Nesyri was better than Osimhen last season. Onuachu and Simmy were better than Osimhen last season.
Why is it difficult to see? osimhen didn't play a lot last season due to injury and aubameyang played more and was dreadful Osimhen is playing in top 5 rated league and even without playing last season nobody would rate onuachu and the rest above him just say you don't like osimhen and stop all this dillydallying |

Humanoid01: Yes, he's a Chelsea fan. I'm also a Chelsea fan and I agree with him, we don't have good wingers. I think people forget this fact when Chelsea play and see them being disciplined at the back.. Chelsea don't have wingers, good ones and a creative midfielder so the onus of chance creation falls to Mount, Jorginho, and Kovacic and the FB of which James is injured and Chillwell is not in great form Liverpool have salah, mane and fantastic FBs.. City have Bernardo, mahrez, foden, sterling, ferran Torres and De Bryune.. Man U have Ronaldo, Sancho, pogba, Bruno, greenwood, Rashford leading their attack people should commend Chelsea for having the second most goals in the league and most scorers in the same team |

tonididdy: It won't work esp in Nigeria. Kids that attend regular schools still have 2 or more home school tutors. The facilities, environment, competition is lacking. it can.. I'm presently doing hometeaching and it's been working, just provide a conducive environment and get a good teacher or teachers |
Education › Re: Home Schooling Versus Regular School by eitsei(m): 10:48am On Sep 13, 2021 |
with this outrageous fees schools charge nowadays and a lot of irrelevant things they teach kids, homeschooling might be the way to go
it will give you opportunity to monitor your kids well yourself and you will be in control of what they get exposed to
but are you a good teacher? can you teach kids? if you can't teach and you can afford it, you should get a teacher for your kid(s) for primary school education because for primary school, a child only needs how to read and write and carry out basic arithmetics
Homeschooling can work and it works.. I have seen quite number of success stories
I used to be a regular school teacher before I started homeschooling 2 kids and they just finished writing their BECE exams, I registered them in a school around to write both state exams and NECO
the only downside to it is socialization, you should let your kids socialize outside your home if you are going to homeschool them |

Lamanii22: Until I get a stable job/income I'd rather home school my daughter...
What are the pros and cons of homeschooling... Or should I just take her to an affordable regular school? if you can teach or a good teacher, homeschooling is a good idea and it works I have seen a quite number of success stories of homeschooling, at least for their basic education Kids in primary schools are only being taught to read and write and do basic calculations in mathematics every other thing is just bonus, and you can do that yourself at home, just make sure the kid socialize outside the home |
Education › Re: Home Schooling Versus Regular School by eitsei(m): 10:33am On Sep 13, 2021 |
peeps4u: Please go ahead. I believe parents are the best to tutor their kids well and faster because kids will take lil time to understand which many teachers may dind quite stressful because of number of kids they have to attend to.
Though my kids go to school but I always personally tutor them almost everyday after they come back from school. I'm teaching them like 2 classes ahead their present classes. My daughter who is in just KG is already doing basic addition which they haven't taught them.
My son can do singular and plural, clock/time identification, addition in hundreds, tens and Units. All these they haven't done in his present class.
You will enjoy the bonding it creates with yiur kid and you will see your children becoming more and more fond of books. That's the best way to groom academically bright kids.
This is not to downplay the importance of regular schooling as it has its own advantages but if you dont have the financial wherewithal for that now, don't beat yourself over it and just watch the kid sit at home. Go ahead and coach your kid to how you want him/her to be
May good God provide for you not to fail as parents not all parents can teach or are good teachers, so if you can afford it you can employ teacher(s) to come be teaching them at home |

mrvitalis: Really the Adeleke family is worth more than osun receives from fedral allocation in 5 years
Which is less than a billion dollars
Debt servicing and wage Bill would eat 80% of that minimum
So $200 million is left in 5 years do the Adeleke family would risk their over $1 billion dollars wealth for less than $200 million in 5 years
Talk another thing
So who are u supporting sir One, Adeleke is not worth $1B two, You don't calculate the networth of a state by allocation alone.. mineral and human resources is worth more than the whole lineage of Adeleke. three, There are some licenses and accesses their money can't buy and being in government can get it for them for free. four, privileges and prestige attached to being a governor, money can't give you that...Dangote is the richest black man in the world and Buhari can ruin him in a day and he's way poorer than Dangote should I go on? OSUN IS Worth more and deserved more than What Adeleke would offer and who am I supporting? definitely not Adeleke |
