WhoDeyHause: Good coaches are even now scarce in the market. Nagelsmann has renewed with Germany until 2026. Xabi Alonso snubbed Bayern and livarpool so he'll wait for madrid. Amorim is probably headed for livarpool. Thiago motta is almost Juventus bound. Zidane is avoiding england. Looks like we might likely see Tuchel at the club again. he's the best manager for us, it remains if our owners would swallow their pride and have him back |

Kimbeast: Wrong decision in my books. Liverpool and Bayern are going to get new coaches in the summer so those options are already ruled out for the foreseeable future. Barca as well will get a new coach. Meaning his only viable option after next season is Madrid if they sack Ancelotti. I am having a sneak feeling he already has an agreement with Madrid. It only takes one average season from Leverkusen next year to damage his reputation. you are talking with certainty as if those coaches will all succeed and won't get sacked in the future |

CSTRR: You absolutely need to have a phD in economics to be a CBN governor.
CBN is not child's play.
Macroeconomics is not balance sheet or profit and loss account.
You need to understand developmental economics at the doctorate level to be effective at that level. what if I tell you the equivalent of a CBN Gov in US is a lawyer? |

naijalander: Mr Felix Bankole Cardoso (1925 - 2006)
Educated at Holy Cross primary school followed by Methodist Boys high school. He quickly distinguished himself and his devotion to duty won him one of the first training awards for Nigerians to undertake the Crown Agents course in London.
This was followed by a scholarship to study accountancy and in short time was able to dismiss with pleasurable ease the final exams of the dreaded institute of corporate and certified Accountants (Uk).
He returned to Nigeria as one of the earliest professionally qualified accountants and went to work in the ministry of finance where he spent the period up to independence working his way up the civil service structure. When the decision was finally made to select appropriate staff to take over the running of the ministry from expatriates, His exemplary record came to bear when he was finally appointed the first Nigerian Accountant-General of the federation of Nigeria in 1963. He retired from the civil service at the age of 47 and joined Barclays Bank in 1972 as the assistant to the general manager, as always he quickly rose to the enviable position of the first African vice chairman and managing director of Barclays Bank of Nigeria, under his leadership the bank became Union Bank.
In 1980 the federal government decided that he should employ his expertise in another of its nationalised banks but as he had reached the peak of his career in two different professions, declined the move and instead chose to retire a second time. He was also a member of the stock exchange since 1975, he became a member of council of the exchange in 1983.
He was a quiet and private Man who did a lot of philanthropic work and was very generous to the older members of his family. I know this because he was my grand uncle and I spent the a lot of time with him whenever he came to London. so your cousin is the new CBN governor? |

popizaino: This is the misconception that has stayed for so long and needs to be debunked.
Who made Tottenham the best team?
Which bookmakers gave Tottenham favourites to win anything in those years?
So if Arsenal doesn't win the league you will tell Arteta is a bottler because you and i tipped them to be favourites in june?
Mauricio Pochettino simply overachived with the Tottenham side and that's why you even considered them worthy of winning in the first place.
It was on the same nairaland that some of you told us your favourites in Mourinho and Conte were going to perform signs and wonder if they ever managed Tottenham but as usual,i allowed time to vindicate me and i was met with excuses as to why they couldn't perform this so called miracles when they got this Tottenham job.
Like Pochettino who didn't win anything with Tottenham, Ancelotti also didn't win anything with Parma and Juventus before been entrusted with Ac milan job in 2001 that saw him winning 2UCL and two league titles in 8years.
So wanting Pochettino here is never a step back or what have you. If you take cognizant of tactics during Pochettino's game, you will realise he is a very good tactician and will surely do well here. Might be unlucky not to have win with other team but Chelsea will always any good managers chances of winning trophies. he is a bottler and tier 3 coach, if you like write epistle to defend him he went to PSG and lost the league title they've been winning years before he got there and made an attack of Neymar, Messi and Mbappe look like shxxt |
