thanks for your compliment.. And as for the profitability, it's highly profitable because supply doesnt always meet demand,I have visited my friend's ugu farm beside the river were I saw a lot of farmers with already harvested ugu sailing towards the spot made for ugu sellers.

Sure u can still plant ugu if u have access to constant water supply and also u need to be up and doing in controlling pests and insects as they are many in the soil during dry season..

After getting the bamboo sticks home,I started by digging holes in the ground were the pillars that Will be holding the platform will rest upon and also I covered the bed from my local birds so they don't get to destroy the plants sprouting out.. so I built the platform and also roped all the ugu (pumpkin) leaves the base of the platform..

About the other day getting bamboo sticks for building a platform for my ugu(pumpkin) leaves to twig upon. My cousin had to take me to our ancestral Village (otokolomojo). Otokolomojo is on the eastern part of ugbetulu in Idah local government of kogi state. On getting to ugbetulu, we had to cross the river in a canoe which was paddled by my cousin.
Tho I was scared but I enjoyed every bit of the trip

38 days old pumpkin, u can leave to crawl on the ground during dry season without issue of diseases, but i love seeing the beauty. Pumpkin is a perennial climber. … sorry for the late update, stress too much.

I got that 5 for 2400 but 2 out of them were completely damaged so I think it depends on the availability..

No, I don’t but it can be gotten from the open market. Either in pods or measured i in small paint bucket but u need to check the seeds to make sure is a viable seed and also if buying the pod open before payment to confirm the seeds because the first pods I got 2 out of 5 were completely damaged. The darker seedlings are more viable compared to the white brighter ones..

Watering: I water the bed every 24 hours… pumpkin is drought tolerant, but that doesn’t mean it hates water. Pumpkin grows well when it have ready supply of water… so to get optimum yield, water your pumpkin every 24 hours

Just sold my third bed excess pumpkin yesterday. Sold 2 last month. And they're growing back already. Never planned it. Was just too much for me to consume alone and someone came to buy it. The way the lady has been pestering me is making me consider doing serious commercial dry season farming for it next year.
