PoliticsRe: Nigerian Army Pounds Damasak,as Reports Of Chadian 'liberation' Proves False by ejiro2130(m): 4:10pm On Mar 16, 2015

Please don't denigrate our soldiers. They are gallant and capable of effectively taking care of bokoharam once and for all.

In all news you read, please don't join the bandwagon effect, dare to be different by reading between, on top and behind the line.

To the question of mercenary.

It is a common knowledge that Nigeria army are currently undergoing an upgrade in the weaponry. Equipping themselves with more advance weapon in term of technology and it operation and for the Nigerian army to be able to use this weapon they need to be properly train on the handling and usage by those who knows how.

Don't forget this weapons are urgently needed weapons. Now my question to you is that, " will you preferred that the Nigeria army take this weapons to the training ground and be sending their men to the training ground to be train on how to handle, use and maintenance of the weapons or take it to the battle field where it is urgently needed and get trainers who don't mind training their men in a real battle situation?

What the Nigeria army is doing is killing two bird with one stone. They get and immediately put to use new weapon to fight bokoharam and at the same time getting their men trained.

Hope have been able to answer your question? And if you are asking why now ? Then ask the political class not Goodluck alone.

God bless us
God bless Nigeria
God save Nigeria from Nigerians
Yes you did answer my question, thanks

Those people you call mercenaries are not directly involved in fighting Boko haram. The are combat hardware experts/technicians sent from companies that sold our new equipments to us. They are only here to commission these new equipments and also train our men on how to use them since these procurements were made impromptu.

This narrative of mercenaries fighting for Nigeria must stop, our gallant military men are the ones taking Boko haram out.
Thanks for the info, I should have thought of that. I was blatantly wrong with my narrative.

God bless Nigeria!!

Which damasak are you talking about? I guess they visited the place in their dreams.
As of yesterday, the Nigerian Army was engaged in a serious fight with Boko haram to retake that town.

The only two towns that were recaptured by foreign elements ( we cannot even allude it to Chad only) are the border towns of dikwa and gamboru ngala.

Abeg stop mixing these towns up.

Please please and please, Reuters, BBC etc never visited damasak and Chadian army did not recapture damasak; instead they were round thrashed and beaten back by Boko haram.

I just hope the ever gallant Nigerian army have been able to push Boko haram out overnight.

Reuters ko, rooster ni. God punish all of dem enemies of Nigeria.
Why do u call them enemies of the state??

Because their report defers from those of nigerian army??

Let's say things are they are, if our army are so gallant why is our government paying mercenaries??

We have always been saying it here, Chad ain't sh.it. A single Nigerian Army Garrison in the southwest is bigger and better equipped than the whole Chadian army.

What the compromised Nigerian press ain't telling us is how Boko haram have been killing these Chadian soldiers like chicken and how they have allowed Boko haram break into their country when the NA pursued some of them that escaped from the NA Nigerian onslaught.

Shame on Chad, shame on the hateful western media and shame on the compromised Nigerian press. May they meet their Charlie hebdo karma soon as many have lost their lives due to their indirect complicity in this Boko haram insurgency.
BBC reporters, reuters all visited damasak are u saying they av been compromise too??

There was lots of confusion on nairaland some days ago, they where failing to differentiate between Chadian army and Boko haram. I felt that was embarrassing considering the fact Chadian army is referred to as the cream of West Africa. The BBC had to do a full reporting of they army praising them, well I decided to post pics of Chadian army unit been trained by US ARMY to avoid further confusion.

Ghana is "ripe" with poverty? where did you get that nonsense from? if you want to compare poverty levels in nigeria and Ghana, go to the united nations human development index and find out for yourself. most times, you nigerians talk as if you dont have brains inside your heads! fuckeduppedness! nigeria is rated among the poorest in africa grin
Ooh Jesus, which zoo did dis one escape from why should I go to a website when I can go to the country when I want??

What's poverty?? When 40% of miners in your country are sacked, when your inflation is at 50% when fuel price goes up every month, when ur currency loses 34% of its value in 12months.

If that is not a nation ripe with poverty the what is it??

judiciarypalava:
Honestly there is no need trying to play politics here.
This Tinubu's desperation and sudden S/western die heard relationship with GMB is not going down well with some big shots in the North. A University class mate of mine in those days in UNIZIK through which four of our class mates got jods in one of the ministries in Niger state with the help of his multi millionaire father(name withheld). Told me in confidence that 100% support for Buhari is a very dicey game. That they are still regretting what happened to Yaradua.

That they did not understand what Obasanjo's plan was, all they thought, they have destabilized the South with Obasanjo and the nomination of GEJ as vice. That if it were to be that Yaradua was from the South and GEJ from the North. That as far as they know the South has taken their turn. Meaning that they will not consider what happened, after all you played politics with your turn.

Just few years after, almost the same group is at it again. That the initial game plan was Tambuwal or Kwamkwaso. He said that if not for their religion and agreement bound by Koran, that they would have unanimously made it clear their stand in the presidential election. Now they are between the devil and the blue sea.
That they are just praying that he wins, then they will tell him how to handle Tinubu and co, while also praying that God should spare his life beyond the 8years of his tenure.

Ordinarily that they would have waited for just four years more since they have waited this long and could not return it back to the North immediately after Yaradua's demise with all their gimmicks.
Lets not deceive ourselves, the West is more interested and more catholic than the pope here.
Just managed to remember some things he told me because l was doubting him then, moreover, my mind was on getting a contract paper he was pushing for me through his dad's office.
Lets see what the game changer will be.

God bless Nigeria
I stopped reading when I saw you linking OBJ, yaradua and GEJ

If you think OBJ planned everything so GEJ should come to power then sir, your iq is so bloody low
