The 34-year-old Wycombe striker is available for selection as long as Sam Allardyce serves chicken and contacts him with the news via WhatsApp Adebayo Akinfenwa has told Sam Allardyce he is ready for an England call-up... but only if chicken is served for a pre-match snack. The 34-year-old striker, who recently joined Wycombe Wanderers, is ready to be England's new saviour "for the last 17 minutes of a game" and partner Andy Carroll up front in a new-look Three Lions squad. With Wayne Rooney's captaincy up in the air, Akinfenwa's super-sub promise could yet garner more rewards, just as long as 'Big Sam' has his WhatsApp details. "I'm going to say it out loud: I'm available for England selection if they serve chicken for pre-match [food]," he said at partypoker 's 'Big Bluff' event. "That's it. Chicken, me. No chicken, no me. That's not arrogant, that's just what I need to eat. "Sam, big man, listen, hit me up on WhatsApp because I feel, [in the] last 20 or 17 minutes of the game, bring me on, back stick and BAM. Me and Carroll. "I'm not saying you are long ball, but I'm effective in the last 17 minutes of games. Gareth Ainsworth hit me up on WhatsApp and I signed for him. You could hit me up on WhatsApp, so let's make it happen." What do you say, Sam? http://m.goal.com/s/en/news/13712/extra-time/2016/07/25/25929192/akinfenwa-wants-england-call-up-on-one-condition |
Rot-Weiss Oberhausen have offered a contract to Zlatan Ibrahimovic after his release from Paris Saint-Germain. And while the semi-professional German minnows, who compete in Regionalliga West, are unlikely to offer the star the pay packet he is used to, there are a number of perks in the offer. Zlatan will effectively be given the keys to the city, with the Ebertbad, a venue which houses concerts, theatre productions and other cultural activities, to be filled with water should the striker fancy a swim. - Hide Videos More impressively, though, the city of Oberhausen have promised to implement a monarchy and name Ibrahimovic as the king. And as such is the power of the Sweden international, Ewo, the city’s electricity supplier, will supply customers from Zlatan’s house. Then, having had Ikea re-build their new stand, they would sell Schweden-Happen instead of Bratwurst, and the famous local beer ‘KonigPilsener’ will be re-branded as ‘Ibrahimovic Pilsener’. It’s not your normal contract offer, but it would massage the Swede’s ego nicely. http://m.goal.com/s/en/news/13712/extra-time/2016/06/02/24187942/oberhausen-offer-ibrahimovic-hilarious-contract

The Algeria international has scooped the prestigious award after a phenomenal season that has seen him score 17 times, with 11 assists, to help Leicester to the top of the table Riyad Mahrez has been named the PFA Player of the Year for 2016 seeing off competition from Leicester City team-mates Jamie Vardy and N'Golo Kante and Tottenham's Harry Kane to scoop the prize. The Algeria international has been inspirational for Claudio Ranieri's side this season with his 17th goal of the season on Sunday helping them move eight points clear at the top of the table after a 4-0 win over Swansea City. Mahrez has also contributed 11 assists for the Foxes, who remain hot favourites to win their first ever Premier League title with just three games left to play. The Algeria international's Leicester team-mate Jamie Vardy came second in the vote with Tottenham striker Harry Kane finishing third. "It's extra special because if the players vote for me it's because they've seen I've been great this year so I'm happy," said Mahrez on accepting the award. "Without my team-mates I wouldn't get this award. We are like brothers, it's everywhere on the pitch. That's our strength. "If sometimes we are not good, we know we are going to run and make the effort for our team-mates. That is the secret of our success." Mahrez is Leicester's first-ever winner of the award and also makes history by becoming the first African player to pick up the accolade. The 25-year-old Algeria international is also the first winner not to play for Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham or Manchester United since Newcastle United's Alan Shearer in 1997. Elsewhere, Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli was named Young Player of the Year, Jamie Vardy received an award to recognise his record 11-game Premier Leageue goalscoring streak and Ryan Giggs received the PFA Merit Award. http://m.goal.com/s/en/news/1862/premier-league/2016/04/24/22755432/mahrez-named-pfa-player-of-the-year |

Pope Francis on Wednesday April 6 met Elizabeth “Lizzy” Myers, a five-year-old American girl who does not know she is gradually going blind from a rare genetic disease, Usher syndrome. Her parents are trying to get her to see as many things as she can, including meeting the Pope. Accompanied by her parents and her little sister, Lizzy was able to speak to the 79-year-old Pontiff in an emotionally charged encounter at his weekly general audience at St Peter’s. Pope Francis stroked the little girl’s face and gave her a rosary. “She was awestruck. She just teared up,” her mother Christine Myers, who is Catholic, told reporters afterwards. “To her he’s the big guy in the white hat.” “He asked us to pray for him and told us he would pray for us,” she added. Lizzy, whose case has received big media coverage in the United States, is not aware that she is suffering from Usher’s Syndrome, which will eventually leave her deaf and blind. Her parents said they would tell Lizzy, who already wears a hearing aid, about her condition gradually as she asks questions. She could be blind in about seven years so they have started what they call a “visual bucket list” of sites and people they think she should see while she can. The Myers family, from Belleville, Ohio, have spent the week in Rome taking in the city’s historic sights as part of the “bucket list”, drawn up in the knowledge that Lizzy has only limited time to see some of the wonders of the world. Lizzy gave the Pope a piece of a meteorite she was given when she was a special guest at the Warren Rupp Observatory in Mansfield, Ohio, one of the first places on her parents’ list. Her condition, Usher Syndrome Type II, means that she will gradually lose her hearing and her sight. Following publicity surrounding her diagnosis, the family was offered free flights to anywhere in the world. After reading of her case, an airline offered them round-trip tickets to anywhere in the world and the family chose Rome. They opted for Rome partly because Lizzy had been struck by Francis’s fatherly air. As well as meeting the Pope, she has this week visited the Colosseum and been treated to a VIP tour of the Italian capital’s zoo. “I feel like I have very little time to show her so much,” her father Steve Myers said. Her mother said she and her husband wanted to make sure that she also saw simple things while she could, “like bonfires and fireflies” http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKCN0X31I2

Lionel Messi has left Barcelona in turmoil by agreeing to join Real Madrid at the end of the season in a record-breaking five-year deal that will be worth around half a billion euros. The Argentine forward, winner of five Ballon d'Or awards and considered one of the greatest players of all time, will cost Madrid €250m to buy and approximately the same again in agent fees, commissions and wages. The move was announced directly before Saturday's Clasico at the Santiago Bernabeu in what appears to have been a deliberate move to destabilise the Liga leaders. Messi, who joined Barcelona as a 13-year-old, explained that money was the only factor driving his move. "With Financial Fair Play, Barcelona could not give me what I wanted and deserved," the 28-year-old said at the pre-match press conference. "I recommended they fund my contract by selling the Camp Nou, but for some reason they valued the club more than me. "When I learned this, I was heartbroken and our relationship was finished. "A man of my status should have a 2000-metre long mega-yacht, staffed and powered at all times. Like [Roman] Abramovich. The purchase and operating costs alone demand that I take home €50m per year after tax. Minimum. Is that too much to ask?" However, Goal correspondent Garry McGarry obtained exclusive information hinting at other reasons for the move. "Gerard Pique kept beating Messi at Fifa," McGarry explained in a series of poorly-worded tweets. "Messi hates to lose and became angered when the club refused to replace Pique's left hand with a pirate's hook. "That was it for the ‘little dictator’, and he has done the unthinkable." Sources in Madrid have indicated that Messi has also been offered the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar, "when we get it back after Britain leaves the EU", information which was not confirmed or denied by the Messi camp. In an official statement released by Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo said he was delighted to welcome Messi aboard and that he was "looking forward to receiving his support from the wing". Barcelona, meanwhile, continue to be beset by financial difficulties but are expected to replace Messi with Leicester City's Jamie Vardy, who will be mentored by Uruguay star Luis Suarez. Many people know about this drug. It is probably the most common contraceptive in Nigeria. When I was doing my mandatory Industrial Training(I.T) in a Community pharmacy, I noticed this drug was highly marketed. It is one of the fast selling drug. I know a particular lady who comes to buy almost every 2 to 3 days. 1.What is Postinor-2 (Levonorgestrel) It is a hormonal contraceptive commonly called 'the morning after pill,' It is a second generation progestin used hormonal contraceptives, including combined oral contraceptive pills, progestogen only pills, emergency contraceptive pills, intrauterine systems, contraceptive implants, and hormone replacement therapy. It is used for emergency contraception after unprotected sex. Postinor-2 can be taken 1.5 mg (as a single dose or as two 0.75 mg doses 12 hours apart) taken within 3 days of unprotected sex, with one study indicating that beginning as late as 120 hours (5 days) after intercourse could be effective. It can act to prevent fertilization by inhibition of ovulation. The International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) however warned it cannot prevent implantation of a fertilized egg. It was observed that the contraceptive efficacy was reduced in women weighing 75 kg [165 pounds] or more, and levonorgestrel was not effective in women who weighed more than 80 kg [176 pounds].' In November 2013 and January 2014, the FDA and the EMA said they were reviewing whether increased weight and body mass index (BMI) reduce the efficacy of emergency contraceptives. Other Uses Intrauterine system Contraceptive implants Hormone replacement therapy Note: If you are pregnant, DO NOT TAKE IT If you are taking ampicillin, teracycline, rifampicin and prednisone 1.1 Potential Dangers and Side Effects Its quite obvious Postinor 2 is really powerful hence many women who have unprotected sex resort to the drug as " saviour". For evrery pros, there must be cons and this is also the same with the drug. Some of the unwanted side effects and risks are frequently witnessed. They are Abnormally Long or Heavy Periods Absence of Menstrual Periods Bleeding Not Related to Menstrual Period High Blood Sugar Other side effects that are irregular. They are Depression Discharge of Milk in Men or Women when Not Breastfeeding Rash CANCER: This drug is suspected to be cause ovarian cyst Breast Cancer is also found to increase with increased use of oral contraceptive |

His name is Bakos. He is an Ethiopian eunuch, a court official of the Candace, queen of the Ethiopians. The name wasn't mentioned in the bible but is still famous in the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church and the church has many reference for this part of the bible and the whole. You can find the story in Acts 8:26. Philip the Apostle taught him and finally baptised him. According to Church Scholars, Bakos is the first person who took the knowledge of Christianity out of the middle East and introduced to the outside world, even before the Apostles did it. |

As I entered my friend's house with correct hunger, I saw assorted beverages in his rack. I did the Sign of the Cross and quickly went and collected almighty garri and added water without delay. Wetin my eye come see no make sense. I opened the tin of tea, nothing oo. Na so I open everything and they were all dry like Sahara desert. Na so I drink raw garri. I don't know if this is a common practice by Students. They use empty beverage tins to 'decorate' their room even those that finished since their first year!

Have anyone rooted the Camon C8 successfully? Pls genuine suggestions on how to root it are needed |
Please this thread is not meant to be a beef, it is a genuine observation. I have been using Tecno products( Tecno M3, H7, R7 and recently Canon C8.) When I used Tecno M3, it used to hang a lot and cannot handle multitasking well. I forgave them because the phone has merely 528 mb ram. I disposed it. I enjoyed the Tecno H7 because it handled multitasking nicely and was almost lag free. The 1 gig ram was quite effective. So was the Tecno R7 with 2 gig ram, though the camera at low light was not good. But my pain comes from being deceived by Tecno about this their "unmatchable" Canon C8. I bought it and fell in love with the camera and its sleek nature. But fastfoward one month, am beginning to be confused. The phone is said to have 1 gig ram. It also has 16 gig internal memory( 10 gig is usable). It should multitask smoothly and lag less. To be frank, it is easier said than done. I cannot run up to three apps without losing my data in about two of the apps. Each time, you have to reload everything afresh in those apps. Please if you are using Camon C8, You can tell you experience. It is not funny |
"I have nothing to say. Nothing to say. Nothing to say," he told BT Sport after being asked his views on the match. "I'm so sorry I have nothing to say." When asked if he was worried about the current situation, Mourinho replied: "Worried about what?" and when pressed further about whether he was concerned about his future at the club he simply answered "No". |
