I absolutely disagree with you that Nigeria is a poor country. We are not poor by the most fundamental standards: Human Resources and Natural Resources. However, I will agree with you that WE ARE A POORLY MANAGED COUNTRY. Even with the decades of waste and stealing, NIGERIA WILL BE A FORCE TO RECKON WITH, WHEN THE LEADERSHIP IMPROVES TO JUST AVERAGE. We need a leadership class that has the good of Nigeria and Nigerians at heart. We've been cursed not only with poor leaders, but wicked leaders, who absolutely do not care about the entity called "Nigeria." Let's not kid ourselves, Nigeria is not a poor country. No matter the mess in our country, serious countries cannot just toss Nigeria away. THE POTENTIALS OF OUR COUNTRY ARE HUUUUUUGE. We need to demand better leadership that is accountable to WE THE PEOPLE.

The problem of Nigeria is both a combination of Nigerian people and its Politicians .

When we breed more children ,the parents cannot handle . Its a recipe for disaster .

The resources will be nothing , look at U.A.E, Norway , Qatar etc . They have tiny population and their wealth is covered .
If we see resources per capita , even with all undiscovered lithium , Coal etc .
Nigeria is no where to be found in top 20 countries.

Controlling population along with good leaders will take the country forward.

Some times i, laugh at Nigerian people stupidity .

We are raised from birth that we are giants of Africa etc. so much so that a average Nigerian person who is abroad is boastful and become lawless and keep on irritating the local people and their governments .
While people in Nigeria think they are superior to other blacks or Asians , Go to any online platform and we will see the same boastfulness about GDP ,Population . You hear reactions like why you are going to ordinary Kenya, Ghana, India, Vietnam etc .

Guys and Girls wake up Nigeria is a poor country masquerading as a rich country for many decades .,Where you drive BMW, Merc, manufactured about 5 to 15 years back and show off . No Asian countries import second hand or third hand cars like we do ,hey we are Nigerians and we want to show of .

With this GDP rebasing the Nigerian economy has come down to third place in Africa and finally truth is gradually making sense .

We have lived beyond all our means for many decades , Tinubu is doing the final saving act .

If Tinubu fails , Nigeria will be a failed state or it will split .

Imagine servicing 70 percent of your revenue or income in servicing debt .No serious country except Zimbabwe or Venezuela does that .

Times are hard and will be hard for at least 1 year .

We are paying for the sins of these Anglo American controlled politicians from 1967 , They honey trapped us and our politicians .

This proves my point even further. Urbanization of third world countries is useless. Ghana kind of urbanization is slum concentration - nothing to do with development.
As for India and Kenya, they beat Ghana in all indices that measure development. GDP, GDP per capita, GNI, life expectancy, birth and death rates, literacy rate ( India beats Ghana in HDI) , infant mortality rate... Name them.

Comparing India to African countries except Morocco ,South Africa ,Botswana ,Namibia ,Mauritius, is foolishness of high order .

India ,after this Modi guy has come to power is transforming the country like any thing .

Lack of proper town planning is the issue which binds India and Majority of African countries , there by perception of African countries ,that India is very poor .
White people dont like any other race to progress , Happened to Japan in 1980s ,Korea in 1990s ,Chinese in 2000s and now India .
Western Media has programmed their citizens for poverty porn , According to western people, visiting slums whether in China, India or African countries ,they will have the real feel of the country .
Majority of people are programmed by western media to view these countries.

When Iam growing up ,we have seen many insults and derogatory videos against Japanese, Chinese, Koreans and now Indians in western media ,even though western leaders appear in media to praise these countries.

Right now ,majority of African people are awaking and we need, just one leader of a country in mold of Park Chung Hee(south Korea),Deng Xiaoping (China) and Modi(India).

Posting beautiful landscape pictures does not change anything . Our leaders and people should stop aping these western countries and follow these Asian countries and get to know ,how are developing within short space of time.

People who wants to do japa must do urgently before ur visa gets rejected, As developers are in frenzy to develop other countries.


One of developers below me wants to legalize here as well as in abroad it will be win win for them its eems.

Next 2 years will be painful for Nigerians .

Russian President Vladimir Putin met mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin after the failed Wagner group mutiny last month, the Kremlin says.

Prigozhin, who heads the Wagner mercenary group, was among 35 people invited to the meeting in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov added.

"He also gave assessment to the 24 June events. Putin listened to the commanders' explanations and suggested variants of their future employment and their future use in combat."

According to the spokesman, Prigozhin told Mr Putin that Wagner unconditionally supported him.

The Wagner chief's current whereabouts are unclear.

Last Thursday Belarus leader Alexander Lukashenko - who brokered the deal that ended the mutiny - said Prigozhin was in Russia.

The BBC tracked Prigozhin's private jet flying to Belarus in late June, and returning to Russia the same evening.

The Wagner Group is a private army that has been fighting alongside the regular Russian army in Ukraine since last year's invasion.

But following setbacks for Russia on the battlefield, Prigozhin took to social media to lash out at the high command.

He has been particularly scathing about Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

Prigozhin did not directly condemn Mr Putin during the mutiny, but analysts described it as the biggest challenge to the president's authority in more than two decades in power.
