akagson:

Mine was scanned in coloured.. How can I convert to black and white?

I just discovered a way to change a coloured picture to black and white.
Here is how:

1. Right click and copy the picture

2. Open Microsoft Powerpoint and paste the picture

3. Click on the picture, on the 'Picture Tools' bar, click on 'Recolor' - which is located at the upper left corner of the 'Format picture' tab

4. On the 'Recolor' dropdown menu, under 'Color Modes', click on the first, which is 'Grayscale'. The picture should change to black/white

5. Right click on the picture again, and select 'Save as picture'. On the 'Save as Picture' dialogue box, select the filename, format (JPEG) and location, then click on 'Save'

You can then convert it to PDF.
This tutorial is based on Powerpoint 2007 (Windows 7)

Please, anybody experiencing the same problem?

And my documents were scanned in coloured.....what can I do?

Schooling will get you where you want to go, but education and skills will sustain you when you get there.

Na wa o. Wetin concern Army with arresting fake pastors, I thought that was the work of the Police?

Anyway, since it's time for role change, then I guess its time for the Police to enter Sambisa forest.

Benin Republic of all countries? This shit is getting serious.

Tell it not on TV, publish it not in the newspapers; lest the daughters of the Philistines rejoice, and sons of the uncircumcised exalt.

It is regrettably lugubrious that a country that is adjudged to be the giant of Africa continues to be throdden by miscreants.

I think it's time for a REAL National Conference to determine the fate of the Nigerian state.

Education / Is It Possible To Apply For Direct Entry With Third Semester Result? by ekoson95(m): 8:36am On Nov 09, 2015
Good morning Nairalanders, please I need your expert opinion on this issue.

I'm an ND student in my third semester in a Federal Poly, and would be rounding up my programme by August next year. Lately I've contemplating on the next step to take, bcoz I want to continue my schooling in a University immediately I finish this one next year; my options include either I rewrite JAMB as a fresher or I apply through Direct Entry - and D.E seems to be the most feasible route. However, during next year's DE application period, I would still be in my fourth semester, or my final result would not be released.

So, my ultimate question is can I use my Third Semester result in the D.E application; or should I just input my anticipated GP. My current GPA is 3.85 which I hope will not drop below 3.8 in my last semester.

And during the application, will I required to submit my academic transcripts to the school/JAMB?

NB: My course of study is Accountancy, and the school I intend applying to is ABU/UNIJOS.

Please your meaningful contributions will be highly appreciated.
Thank you.

As for d height, I'm sure you'll likely increase to 1.68 before the AFSB so that shouldnt be a problem. #eat beans

Just pass your JAMB, perform excellently at NDAEE, train hard and pray hard and let's see if you won't get selected.

Religion / Re: Who Is The Son Of Perdition? by ekoson95(m): 5:47pm On Oct 27, 2015
MrPresident1:
Anybody has any ideas what this place is talking about?

2Thessalonians 2:3-8
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Based on my little understanding, I believe the man of sin should be the Antichrist, you will during a time of great apostasy (falling away); and he will proclaim himself as the sovereign god, probably during the first 3 and half years of the tribulation and shall demand worship from everybody.

Basically, what I can deduce is that there will be no rapture until after the tribulation, which will be followed by the second Coming of Christ, which will culminate in the battle of Armageddon.

Hmm guy we r on the same track. I also want to apply for psychology too but don't know what's up with the JAMB combinatn...wch state r u 4rm?

Same here too. But this is my plan:
For JAMB I'll write English, Maths, Biology and Govt; then for NDAEE I will substitute Maths for Econs, so it now become English, Econs, Biology and Govt.

Why dont you start checking this thread from page 0 - 10, there you will get the list and web addresses of all the participating schools. Visit their websites to check their respective requirements and downloadd their application forms.

They usually ask for address and phone number of the organisations you filled in. Though they don't usually have time to call each and everyone of these organisations but you never can tell. You wouldn't want your wonderful application to get disqualified because filled in details that are not authentic.

Thanks for the insight bro
