weild his sword to his advantage... he could have decide
to take a drastic step and lots of lives will be lost, he
could (1) Annul the on-going Presidential election and stop
any further announcement just like IBB did in June 12,
1993 presidential election.
(2) Sack Professor Attahiru Jega.
(3) Declared a state of emergency in all states.
(4) Divide Nigeria back into Eastern Region, Northern Region, Western Region and Mid-Western with full
federalism.
(5) Appoint military administrators to manage all the
regions.
But he did NOT. Indeed he is a man of peace.

I haven't read the previous posts so my apologies if any of what I say below has already been said:

First of all, I think it's great that you have some ambition. That really is the first and most important step. Secondly, investment bankers do not invest the bank's money. Let's just be clear on that now so you know exactly what it is you are trying to achieve.

I'm not too informed on the i-banking scene in Nigeria but I honestly believe you can get into any of good I-banking outfits with a decent undergraduate degree and some solid preparation for interviews/tests. Luckily there isn't that much emphasis placed on networking in Nigeria (when compared to the U.S for instance) so your academic track record and performance in interviews should be sufficient.

If on the other hand you want to play with the big boys on Wall Street (a feat that is by no means unattainable for you) and make $200K while working 120 hours a week, your most viable option is to get some credible work experience and apply to a solid business school in the US. Potential for leadership opportunities at work is probably more important than your pay check if you plan to apply to business school so choose wisely when you complete your NYSC. Also try to work at a company with a brand that is globally recognizable (PwC, EY, Deloitte > Zenith, FBN, UBA). After at least 3 years, apply to a top US b-school. When I say top, I mean top, do not waste your time and money applying to any school outside the top 10 if you want to even be looked at by a reputable bank. The best finance schools are probably Chicago Booth, Wharton or Columbia and if you can make it into any of these schools you will have more access to these banks than you ever thought possible. This is of course no guarantee of a job but it's more access than you would ever have otherwise. Typical U.S b-school offers a 2 year MBA. You will have the opportunity to intern at an investment bank over the summer between your first and second year of school and provided you don't do anything silly (like refer to investment banking as dealing with financial ratios and investing the bank's money) you should get a full time offer even before you start your second year. And just like that, you may achieve your goals. It is insanely competitive though so the fact you are at any of these schools is no guarantee of anything. The school provides the access, you have to play your part and work HARD!

And yes, a lot (not all) of the top schools in the U.S offer financial aid both in terms of merit based scholarships and loans that do not require a U.S guarantor so if you can succeed in getting in, lack of personal funding is typically not a deal breaker.

I got married when i was quite young without proper education then my husband just got employed.
His family introduced me to him when he wanted to get married because according to them then i met his requirement.

my husband have a good paying job so i can say he have it all good

At a point in our marriage i became insecure, i went snooping on his phone, calling some of his contact , warning people unnecessarily i never knew i was destroying my marriage.
MY HUSBAND been a very patient man warned me to stay off his phone and all but i didnt listen.

When my last daughter was three i called one of his senior colleage to stay off him which made my husband angry and said im being hostile to him so he wants a divorce, the issue became so big that my husband and i got seperated.

my husband is the traditional type that doeesnt do any house chores, i taught there was no way he was going to saty without me but to my greatest surprise he stayed without me for 3 months plus he rather had his neice stay with him than myself.

His family had to interven before he reconciled with me, when we got back together i noticed he had a girlfriend this time with so many love text messages on his phone, i got emmotional n deleted them all, he noticed i deleted them without saying a word he passworded his phone by then i already had the contact of the girl unknown to him but because of our initial dissagrement i was reluctant in calling her but it got serious, my hubby started making night call , talking to her on phone for hours, visiting her n coming home back late.

It got to a point i called her and warn her to stay off my home, she wanted to know who the caller was but i ended the call, after sometime i noticed she called hubby and hubby ask her to give him the number of the caller so he can check if he knows the person, she gave him anh he told her to go bed there is nothing to worry about. he came to me and ask me why i did that, i pick up quarrel with him but he didnt say anything afterward, the next he went out and came back by 11;20 in the night. He doesnt talk much so i tried confronting him about the woman but he didnt say anything but he kept seeing and talking to her. i called the woman again to tell her to stay off my husband but she told him and that cause another misunderstanding between us, then hubby told me that he will marry her and there is nothing i can do

he said he needs a friend, someone who sees marriage as love not as responsibility.

He asked his people to pass the message to me

He said he will still be responsible for me and our kids
He will keep us under one umbrella n everybody will be happy, its natural if i get emmotional but he is not going to hurt me
He is sorry if he is hurting me but i should know that i destroy our home not his incoming wife.

I feel terrible i cant help but regret, i taught it was a joke but to my greatest surprise its reality

I wrote FR and wasn't happy with my performance. I was still in question 1(compulsory qtn) wn the invigilator announced 1 more hour to go. At that junction i got dazed cos i still have 4 more questions to answer and haven't yet finished qtn 1. My time management was bad and i paid dearly for it. The questions were not too difficult just that d qtn 1 whch was compulsory was loaded and highly demanding. So it took all of my time. I struggled eventually to make an impact on the other questions. Sad!
