Same with mine, I tot it awkward for a toddler not to like cartoon, he just likes dragging chairs scattering tinz, cooking imaginary food with my pots, bring my pots from the cabinet, play with water n once in a while he plays with his squad bike by pinning d bike to 1 corner, press d buttons n touching the tyres as it's rolling , very annoying sometin.

Really i thought it awkward at first, even my MIL thinks it is a big deal that he doesnt watch cartoons because her other grandkids did. I’ll just tell her he will watch when he is ready, abi is it everything we will read meanings to? Let him explore jare, even me i didnt watch cartoons as a child.

I want to laugh but I cant because this and many more are my current struggles. When I want to rest, I just put her on the bed and lie beside her pressing phone. The bed is quite high so she can't climb down so she stays there either pulling my nose or dragging my hair or thumping my stomach but at least I'm not shouting No. Leave there. Hey. Chai.

For me,i shout from morning till night. We're in 24hrs curfew here in kaduna(no sch snc monday). I wonder what my neighbours will be thinking of me! Cus everywhere is dead silent so u can imagine me shouting in such situation.

I just sllow them SOMETIMES o,if wat dey r doing is not harmful to them.

LOL. A friend actually suggested stacking plastic plates, cups, spoons and maybe his toys on the floor for him. I tried this some weeks ago and it worked for about 1hr 30mins, i even dozed off sef. I think he is now bored of it because i keep doing this every weekend I need new suggestions too

Lol, just allow him scatter, it is u that will not mind d scattering, what I usually do is to remove important and dangerous things out of his reach, i close my room door and d kitchen door and let him be, if i get to doze off by d time i open my eyes it will b as if an elephant entered d house but i ve learnt to only arrange whe he is really tired of playing and wants to sleep, naso we go dey manage d scattered parlor o

I usually let him be, but he keeps going to the TV stand which is my fear sef. Even the standing fan has fallen several times, but he always escapes it. You need to see the speed he makes when something falls off him, i just laugh because he knows he cant handle it but keeps going there. He has just slept now since morning, i hope to hear his voice in another 3 hours jare. Night sleep is never his problem. Thank you

Hello mums, please i need ideas on activities to keep my 15month old son busy for at least 1 hour, or is 1 hour too much I just need him to let me rest small on weekends.

@Cappo Jina24 and other mamas... We were doing fine until yesterday afternoon oo. I'm beginning to experience a different kind of pregnancy as against my first. I started to spot yesterday afternoon. No cramps or pain and what not. Kind of disturbed, but I'm really not freaking out per say...and i dont want to get crazy with meds. I'm on my way to get a sonogram, so I can see what's really going on inside me. We are 12 weeks plus 4 days today, so I really don't get what all this nonsense is about. Anyone experienced this sh*t before? How una manage?

Hello mamas please help me. I have been exclusively breastfeeding my 4 months old LO. I'm due to travel for 2 weeks in November so I started by introducing him to formula, but he won't even suck. When he manages to take just a tiny bit, he starts throwing up everything in his tummy. I first thought it was the brand of formula I gave him, but he has done the same even after changing from sma to cow and gate and enfamil. He doesn't even suck expressed breast milk. I have also bought him some already made puree and pudding, that are age appropriate but he still throws up heavily once the spoon touches his mouth. Please help me as I must make this trip and I can't take him along because he doesn't have a visa. I would appreciate your kind inputs. Thank you.

Hi beatiegirl, how is your dd’s feeding habit now? I was going to reply to your post but i forgot to.
I guess she is feeding well now.
What i did when i was to resume work and my baby refused to take bottles/ formula and would throw all manner of tantrums was to leave him at my mother-in-laws place and let her feed him.
She told me to just leave him and when he is hungry and sees that i was no where around, he’lld be forced to take something. Gradually, but very slowly he started eating.
If she’ll be staying at a trusted creche, you may also want to adopt this method.
I like to think i was as worried as you are at that time too but we got a hang of it.

I wasnt exactly happy when i got the BFP, but i just knew this one was here to stay. Only once i did it without protection in my presumed safe period, and i had that gutted feeling i was going to be pregnant(dh actually prayed on my belly after action because mans wanted another baby lol).
I had plans to have a baby next year tho, just thought it would come later, but right now i am particularly happy i will have this baby early next year so i have time to get on with other plans. My prayer now is for God to knack me twins oo and seal this childbearing phase for me. Baba God, abeg.
Congrats dear, you will be fine just keep a positive mind and you know you can still pursue those dreams of yours and still rock at work. Pregnancy is not a disability, you just have to take good care of yourself and dont stress too much. Wish you a very easy bumping

HFM is Hand Foot and Mouth disease and a rash like this appears on those 3 body parts.
I'm not sure what you should use cos I'm not familiar with this type of rash which is why I advised you to see a Dr.

If not, then it could be an allergy. Probably ate something he's averse to. See a Dr to be absolutely sure.

My son has this around his mouth region, not itchy, no fever and looks like there is a pus in it. Noticed it some 2 days ago and it has since spread to some parts of his cheek. Please any ideas on what it could be and what to use?
