Can't remember but it's regulatory authority related and has something to do with babies not being able to cough phlegm out. Was the doctor who okayed it a paed?

Errm not sure about her being a paed. Never asked. Ok, what options do i have to treat the cough? Thank you

According to my paed you shouldnt deworm babies under 1 or less than 10kg (1 year old weight)
Take him to the hospital let them check him out. He could have a sore throat or inflamed tonsils making it hard to swallow
Also benylin or any cough syrup isn't appropriate for children under one. Was it prescribed for him?

About the benylin, was told to use 2.5ml as against 5ml which is to be used for children above 1. I got it at a pharmacy and my doctor said i could use it. If i may ask tho, why is cough syrup not appropriate for children under one? and what can be used for cough?

Mamas can i deworm my 6 month old son?
I ask this because he has lost interest in food. He has been on cereal since 4 months and he’s been taking it well till about a week ago.
I have checked his body well and no sign of discomfort. No fever and he is playing well.
He takes water well but breastmilk not so well(he doesnt really call for it)
I force him to eat, spank his mouth open and lock him in my arms so he can eat. This i’m getting tired of cuz he keeps wailing and the cycle goes on and on.
I have tried another kind of cereal and even pudding. Also tried indomie and egg yolk but once he takes a little he will just shut his mouth.
What can I do again pls?
Yes let me add he has been on benylin(cough syrup) for a week now, he uses abidec and also Vit.c
Please what else could be the issue? Helllllpppppp

Painful something. I know when my baby wants to bite me. She always has this mischievous smile on her face and then I tap her cheeks and say NO but as I'm dragging the breast out, she is doubling down on it with her tiny teeth. So painful. Smh

They produce more saliva at this stage so it is normal.
As for the sucking, stop him oooo. Whenever he puts his thumb in his mouth, take it out. Wear mittens for him. My baby tried to suck in fact i think all babies at some point just try to enjoy the sucking feeling but i didnt allow him, i will always take it out and wore mittens for him too. I sha succeeded in taking it from him.
One woman even told me to let my baby suck bcoz babies that suck dont disturb, i told her to leave my baby to disturb me abi which work did i sign up for again?


P.S i think this babycenter app helps with baby developments and milestones. There u get to know what is normal and what is not. What you should except from ur baby as they grow on a daily/monthly basis.

Mamas that are breastfeeding babies with teeth, how do you do it please? My baby is steady biting my tips and he will even drag it again.

The teething process has began but the teeth may not come out yet. My baby started drooling and had itchy gum around 3 months and at 5 months, the first tooth came out while the 2nd one followed a week after. Now we have 2 teeth and some days ago i noticed his palm and feet were a lil hot, so i gave him pcm. I dont know about meds for teething tho. But if he has a temperature, u can give pcm or neurofen like mums here suggest.
