I heard and I believe it strips the hair off its natural oil. When I had my 1st baby, by 3months to comb his hair was war but for this one, his hair is still very soft and curly. Hth.

Toh i guess it’s not the same for all babies. I wash my baby’s hair everyday and he has a head full of hair. Maybe if he was a girl sha i would consider washing once but this one i know i will end up cutting i cant be bothered for now.

Happened to me until i started giving my baby formula. Infact my MIL begged me to stop exclusive( she’s always been an advocate of combi-feeding), she would say i was not looking good as i used to before pregnancy and that breastfeeding was taking the better part of me lol, even advised me to use multivitamin. But then when i resumed back to work, started gaining weight and i guess i’m back to my pre-pregnancy stature.

Teamie, since he has full hair, covering with cap again will make him sweat. What I did that worked for me is washing his hair once a week, then I use coconut oil for his hair too. My Lo's hair is still very soft. Just sprinkle small water on it, pour my coconut oil and we are ready to go. Learnt it on this thread too.

If i may ask tho, is there a reason why one shouldnt wash baby’s hair everyday? Does it lead to hair loss? Sorry to take u back just seeing this.

Please, my dd coughs like once or twice every day, plus one or two sneezing too. Should I be worried? I'm afraid I've exposed her to too much cold because of the weather and how she sweats. She sweats while breastfeeding, and if she feels small heat like this, she won't be able to sleep again.
But with this once once cough everyday, I'm afraid I have overdone trying to keep her cool. I used silverbird around her bedside and on her bib, and since then, sleep has eluded her. We're 5 weeks plus.

Please what can I do? Help a worried ftm

Worry no more. Sneezing, my baby did a lot of that and up till now he’s not had catarrh/ cough. That once in a while cough also occured and i was gon get meds, but doc told me not to since it wasnt a serious one. But me i just got Vit c and was giving him but it was never a serious thing. I guess it’s a baby thing except it is a badcough sha

Is there really a need for swallow sha? This plate of soup looks filling already.
But honestly ehn, SS people are very generous with soup. A week ago, i bought semo and afang from one calabar kitchen and while she was serving the soup, i could count like 4 big pieces of smoked fish(piecesed tho) going into the plate, the soup itself almost filled the plate. I was going to tell her not to add meat/fish to it but i didnt want to be the reason she would stop putting all the orisirisi in her soup so i just asked for goat meat. Good evening mothers, please I noticed that my baby boy is starting to go bald from the back. I mean he still have plenty hair in the front but his back start to fall off and making it look bald. Please what could be the reason. And also he is 6month plus but he not adding weight at all. Just still skinny like he was. Not even a little bit of flesh. What could be happening.

Do you think he is not adding weight because he is not chubby or u checked his weight recently and noticed it? My baby is also not chubby but not skinny and he is adding weight, his bones are really strong and me thinks thats all that matters. Not all babies should be chubby. And ur baby has flesh o otherwise all u’ll be seeing is skeleton lol.

Hello sis, we are fine oo. He eats but not without crying lol. I think he just feels he should cry whenever we are feeding him. Good thing he has started cereal and he takes it well. He also loves purees and water(those two things he takes without crying) How are you also and lo?

75mls of water and 2 heaped spoons of cereal (as on the pack). Not so thick but not watery. He finishes it most of the time and other times he sleeps off (he still cries a lil while feeding but takes it better than milk)

This creamy porridge is a cereal and there are other flavours (combos)A carton contains 6 packs.

For the cereal, cow and gate is good and affordable i guess. A pack of 6 goes for 6900 here and u do not need milk. Started with my baby yesterday and i didnt see a single spit out, someone that can spit out milk for africa, he even tried to force it out but for where, it had settled in his stomach. That alone has made me approve it lol.

@Mammybabe, i dont think green poop is always a thing to worry about tho except it’s been on for a long time. When i introduced my baby to formula, he had green poop for about a week after which it changed to the normal colour(brown). I thought it was the presence of iron or just simply a change in his meal and after his body got used to it, it went back to normal.

@ booqee I think its just so u dont slip and fall. You just gotta be careful with it and not be on it for so long. I wore it all through my preggy but i made sure to have a slippers with me. And i didnt work for long with it, most times when i get to my destination i wear it and slay
