So yesterday, I deactivated my account and I don't know if all these is directed at me but I just decided to say something
I moved back with my husband yesterday and I was all happy and glad to be back home though I noticed I was having slight pain in my lower abdomen.
I tried to sleep but my sleep was just disturbed, I started having stabbing pains and I thought it would go, I just tried to move around with janelle, then the pain got stronger and I just knew I had to get to the hospital. I was bleeding when I got to the hospital and it was late. I had a miscarriage. I never believed in charms and curses but now I'm starting to think I'm Cursed.
I just felt hopeless and I deactivated here cause reading through my diary brought me so much pain. If you read my diary u would know how much that pregnancy meant to me.
Benignasweety, I know nothing about this, I got your mail and I already replied, it's just sad,my home isn't a 100% perfect, u know what I've been through. Now it breaks my heart to see this. No woman should be made to feel bad for having issues in our homes, The Priority of every woman is to have a happy home. So benignasweety, I had nothing to do with that.
I don't know if i'll be back here, but I could really use your prayers, I'm pleading. It's going to be so hard for me to pull through. I want to stay strong for my daughter she needs me but It's just so hard..
To those who were there for me, stephmiracle, dunasy, Rhemy2013, Benignasweety, I can't really call out everyone lol. I say a very big thank you to you guys. I'm sorry this is so long(Pardon me). Yes read and waka pass or If you want to acknowledge, do it in your own diary and not outside since twas in her diary she wrote it and not outside. How will you feel when you pour out your body and soul in your diary and somebody will carry your matter to another section outside diary section to advice/bash or either make mockery of your condition ni. my sister it is better now. Although, he cries a bit when he is being fed but he still takes it and doesnt throw up. I know he’lld get used to it soon. Thank you fine girl

Sorry I'm late, I see other mamas have replied you. Try feeding milk with plate and spoon, also try pap if milk doesn't work. Better for him to be eating pap while you are away than to be hungry and screaming. You can always catch up on the breastmilk when you get home. That's what I did for my baby.

Guess what he is taking milk. I dropped him off at MIL's and she says he is eating. I'm soo happyyyy, heading home soon to finish him with kisses. Thanks to queensnow, mitche15, LadySarah and goodfortun for your inputs. Fyngal1, that miracle happened.Thank you

That singing one does not move him. I use this my angelic voice to sing for him all the time, the boy go still dey cry. I will drop him at MIL’s tomorrow and go to work hoping that he takes it.

This is for eksbabe and other mommas whose babies are refusing bottles; have you tried the feeding bottle cover like in the picture? In the hospital where I gave birth, they use bottle covers to feed formula to babies whose moms don't lactate on time. And we continued this when we got home. So my baby has actually not used the teat before and hes on both formula and expressed milk. It minimizes infection from the teat and it'll be easier to transition to sippy cups and cereal bowls when the time comes.

One still has to be careful and sterilize properly. It's painstaking but more effective than cup and spoon in my opinion. The covers are flexible and can be bent as you please particularly the avent bottle covers

maybe your lo has found your 'mumu' button and is pressing it real hard. i started giving formula early but still i had serious issues when it was time to resume. i felt he didn't want formula so i got a breast pump. for where? all the milk i pumped was wasted because 'oga' no gree take from bottle. i tried spoon-feeding, changed bottle, changed teat. nothing worked. i contemplated resigning from my job because i couldn't bear to leave him crying in a creche but my mum refused. she insisted that he would eat if i'm not around. the first day of my resumption was like hell for me. i kept calling my mum every minute untill she got exasperated and warned me not to give myself high blood pressure. to my surprise, when i returned home, i found my son drinking formula happily.

he is one year plus now but anyday i'm at home, he refuses to eat any other thing except breastmilk. so maybe your baby will eat when you are not around.

Thanks for this, it put a smile on my face. I’ll go to work tomorrow and i pray this miracle happens

This thing can be hard ehh, especially when you are resuming work, monday is around the corner. What worked for my last baby was: i changed the bottle i got(avent) to timmie toppie abi na toppie timmy, some1 told me it was soft like a nipple and bla bla, she took the milk small when i changed bottle, just small oh. I was still looking for solution till i was advised to try aptamil, i did and on the 2nd day she took it. They said aptamil tastes close to breastmilk.... problem be say the price wasn't funny but God provided. In summary, persistence, bottle and milk.
I know this time i'm going to start formula by 2 months, i don't want to enter the kind desperado mode i entered before. Goodluck dear.

It is very hard. Sad thing is both my Mum and MIL warned me about this but i will say “ which work do i have, let me give him from source”. The few times i gave him bottles before this total rejection, he took with ease so i thought i had no problem. I have cried this morning cuz he vomitted so much after he took a little of it. A friend also says i should try aptamil, will do so today.
P.S- For new mamas and mamas to be, dont make this mistake pls. Start giving bottles asap. Either expressed breastmilk or formula, just give bottles. I am still praying to God to see me tru this phase and i know it will pass soon.

My son will never take bm frm bottle except frm bwess have tried countless times he just won't take although he use to accept formula frm bottle but stopped suddenly maybe u shd change the bottle depending on how long uve been using it since he takes it before

The bottles are still as good as new. Did ur baby eventually take bottle or u did exclusive?

some babies will never use bottles like my boys,as it is my bottle packs are still unopened after 2 kids,infact you need to see the disgust on their faces when i bring a bottle of breastmilk or anything to them whether i did or another person

what i did;I alternated between spoon/plate and cups.I dont know how old your lo is but you need to make him accustomd to it before starting work.you can also try pap/sma gold with spoon...

Thank you. I am trying to be calm but it is draining. He vomitted this morning again after dh managed to get him to take a little. I dont know if he is rebelling or the milk is not just going down well with his system. He is 3months and 2 weeks.

My baby is not taking anything asides breastmilk and it has to be from source(breast). I thought i had this all sorted out cuz he used to take it sometime ago but i stopped for about 2 weeks and he also stopped taking it.
Whenever i give him bottle, he cries alot and when he even manages to take the milk(while crying, he doesnt suck the teat i just let it drop in which takes forever) he would end up throwing up. I am so worried cuz i resume Monday and he is still rejecting it. I have tried spoon and cup but it is the same.
I even took him to MIL’s place yesterday and left him there to see if he would take it but she called that he was crying endlessly cry.
Please help me oo. Giddyperson i remember u had a similar issue, how did u do it? Other mamas pleaaaaase tell me how to go about it.
