Thanks so much for your assistance and apologies for my persistence.
Just want to ask a few questions.
1. Is the storage room very safe, so as to avoid stories that touch

2. If I get to camp on Tuesday very late, say 11pm. Will the gates be opened for me or will I be turned back

3. If I arrive early enough on Tuesday, can I start my registration or I have to wait till Wednesday morning (the official opening of registration).

I just like due diligence before embarking on any mission.

OBS is a busy task on its own, band is even worse cos u gonna be on parade ground all d time. It depends on wat u wan, wat i dropped wz hw to escape parade drilling

what you dropped may have worked for you in B15 stream 1 but it never worked for B15 stream 2, I joined the HIV awareness group and there wasn't any preferential treatment at all, the RSM was always barking and chasing us around like a mad dog even the red cross were reduced to just 4 for every parade.
You know Lady Ngozika has a kinda different personality.

there is extreme competition in the OBS here and joining the band doesn't gives you any previledge in fact you will go through extra drilling. Akwa ibom is a leveled ground for all corp members.

Hello everyone it's a pleasure to welcome you otondos to
The land of uncommon transformation Akwa Ibom.
I'm a serving corps member in this great state and I must
confess the experience is mind blowing. Camping akwa
ibom ain't too fun due to the rigid state coordinator Lady
Chukwuka Ngozi Nkirikuka who has a very strict nature
and abhors corruption.

'Influencing' your posting to Uyo and other big cities are
very tough because of this same state coordinator, so y'all
have to be careful who you hand your money to..but
make sure you get close to the ICT guys who will register
you on that first day because trust me they won't say it
but they are the surest people to help you influence your
posting, disregard all Local Govt Inspectors and Platoon
Officer because Lady Ngozika doesn't give them slots
anymore The common slogan of Akwa Ibom camp is
Discipline and neatness, don't litter the floor or you might
be shocked at what the soldiers might punish you with
Power bank is very important because there are no wall
outlets to charge your cell phones in the hostels
Important to mention are camp activities: Please don't
participate in camp activities thinking it will help them
give you a favourable posting - this may be done in other
states but not in akwa ibom, What I'm sure of is that
make sure you register early as soon as camp open
(0001-0150) are sure banker for Uyo LG, you might also
get posted randomly and not by your level of participation
in camp, worthy to note is that our general commander
was posted to a thick forest even after he commanded
the parade for 3weeks, same thing happened to others
that participated in drama, dance, peagentries, quarter
guard and even parade.

There are very very few links to influence your posting e.g
camp commandant, the ICT guys and probably if you
have a high ranking soldier as a relation... Advisable local
government to get posted to are Uyo - but with a very
high cost of living, Eket, Ikot Ekpene, Nsit Atai, Oron,
Abak and Ibiono Ibom.

The state pays 10,000 monthly allowance but only to
those posted to state government parastatals or public schools and it doesn't come until 3 months time.

FG have banned posting of corps member to Oil companies so take off your mind.

Pls tell them "our own mother loves corp members like her own children and won't allow them go for endurance trek o and let the guys avoid ECOMOG hostel.

Lagos corpers are used for cheap labour, Akwa Ibom is the best place to serve with a sense of duty. The state coordinator Lady Ngozika Chukwuka sees all corp members as her child and we call her our own mother, she fights against this kind of maltreatment and no employer in Akwa Ibom does this to corp members in fact they treat us like the "untouchable Government pikin"
I cherish my duty as an Ibom Corper in ikono Local Government because I have the opportunity to impart on the students in this part and it gives me a sense of responsibility.
Finally gallant corp member, you are not serving; you're being used as a cheap labour though it will sharpen your view and prepare you for the task ahead after service but you don't have to die in silence.

have you ever been to akwa ibom? This is ikot ekpene(IK) and the location you posted is the plaza opposite Sheraton four point hotel (under construction). I'm sorry to disappoint you but this is the only development in IK apart from good roads moreover akpabio is not from ikot ekpene.
