It is JESUS or You, not Jesus plus you. You cannot add to the finished work of CHRIST on the Cross, else you are telling God that Jesus is not enough that you have to add your own to merit your Salvation. We dont even deserve God's Salvation cos all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God through Adam's sin, but through CHRIST death and RESURRECTION on the Cross, we are redeemed by placing our FAITH on CHRIST and His finished Work.
