Realtruth2023: Why are you people so dull and dense that you now bring bigotry and politics to your statements? From the guy's how did you know he voted PO? Did he tell you he voted PO or you just assume that anyone who say the word " come and suffer in this harsh Tinubu regime" is automatically an IPOB and supporting PO? Must you bring PO into everything? Is it what they told you in your WhatsApp group to always link everything to PO and smear his name so that people will not choose him in 2027? For your information with the wrong moves Tinubu is making with the economy he is making PO's job very easy. Because now the north will not look at his side. You should locate your senses if you don't recognize that guy as your fellow 1p0b . Of course you were also triggered, hence this hogwash of a response. IfnobeGod20: How I wish you quote a section of the constitution that those advocating for his release is breaching. Some of you will just wake up at the bad side of your bed and start vomiting nonsense. Those that liked your comments or shared it are like you. Even in developed environment people advocate for the release of notorious criminal for various security reasons. You wonder why many notorious Boko Haram terrorists are been released always. The aim is to limit and not aggravate killing and kidnapping of innocent civilians. You should have suggested same for those releasing terrorists captured. No single law is broken for advocating for the release of Nnamadi Kanu by anybody, if it is done for the good of the country and not because they are campaign for the festering of his group. The last time I checked, they attached reasons for their advocate as to stem down the spate of killing in the SE. No serious government subject the lives of her citizens to danger and wanton destruction because of just single person. You save the lives of the generality first. It's is liken to a driver driving his car with full lord of passengers and his car developed brake failure and in an attempt to save the lives of his occupants, he went hitting a lone passerby and killed him. Do you know that traffic rule permits such killing to save lives? You won't know because your learning has not gotten to that level. Have you asked yourself why government give amnesty to notorious killers of citizens, even though they have caused serious collateral damage to the system. You won't understand because is beyond your understanding. You people just want more damages on the good people of SE and their property but God pass you. All these illogical shalaye should not make the government of a country capitulate to terrorists' demands. If I was Tinubu, Kanu would be satisfied that he is still breathing. |

Brendaniel: I now see some of the reasons why some of you elect nonsense into office when some of you don't even know what you are doing... Can you stop making nonsense points already please? How would northerners not fighting with Igbos in the civil war would have developed the North when even the SE remains underdeveloped, impoverished and deserted until now? How has federalism hindered the growth of Igbos when even the Igbos are asking for more freedoms and resource control. These are things you can only see in a federal system. Would you prefer Ironsi's unilateralism? |
Politics › Re: Gwoza Suicide Bombers Given As Low As N20 –retired Captain by EleventhWeirdo: 8:32am On Jul 03, 2024 |
Brendaniel: Nigeria operates a federal system and that system has been used to sabotage the Igbos for decades but its changing.... I don't think you understand what federalism means. Which other system would give the federating components the freedom, autonomy, and control being yearned for across states? If anything, we should be strengthening what we have already and practicing it truly. You've contradicted yourself too much |
Politics › Re: Gwoza Suicide Bombers Given As Low As N20 –retired Captain by EleventhWeirdo: 6:41pm On Jul 02, 2024 |
Brendaniel: Because they are lumped with people like you who keep sabotaging the entire system like bringing people like Tinubu into power... But you were suggesting that the North would have been developed if they were lumped up more with the Igbos firmly entrenched in their system. I asked you why the Igbos couldn't demonstrate such superiority of intellect by projecting their home base as a developed hub. You replied saying, the same integration you were prescribing has made it impossible for Igbos to develop their region from the current ragtag of a deserted enclave it currently is. Can you spot the gap in your logic? |
Politics › Re: Gwoza Suicide Bombers Given As Low As N20 –retired Captain by EleventhWeirdo: 6:35pm On Jul 02, 2024 |
Brendaniel: If they worked with the Igbos when the British left and started learning and fine tuning their system, the possibility that the north would have been like this today will be very low....
Instead what did they do? They started killing Igbos in the north and taking over their properties and chasing them away from positions they earned by merit and placing their own people in same positions without merit and continued their system that has kept them at this level since then....
If they had put in efforts to adjust their system and learn on improvement to compete healthily with the Igbos it may have been a different thing today and they may still gotten what they wanted to achieve based on merit, but instead they chose fight when Igbos did not offend them... This is a whole lot of rubbish and empty braggadocio. You talk as if the Igbos themselves are internally developed. If I may ask, why haven't the Igbos achieved such meritorious and developed system in their region? Instead, that region is regarded as one of the least livable, ranking side by side with North East. This guy is funny sha |

MakindeHassan: I don’t swim in mud like you. Your education is a total waste.
After Awolowo did these good deeds for the South West what efforts did he make to pacify the South East for the decisions taken during the war. Even Gowon apologized, he visited the widows of old Nigerian Army comrades that served in the Biafran war and made efforts to reconcile.
The major point is tribalism is fueled by the politicians for their benefits. If the SE hated the whole Yoruba nation because of what Awo did then they wouldn’t even vote for Obasanjo. I have traveled to over 24 states in Nigeria and have friends everywhere and proud to say I listen to all sides of the story. The SE personally did not vote Awo for what they felt he did to them and it was personal. Awo on the other hand did not make notable efforts to reconcile. The SE does not hate the SW and educated people like us don’t hate our brothers in the SE.
Free your mind from all these tribal nonsense, the white only see us as one people that are at the bottom of the food chain and we cannot progress with this attitude. Germany and GB nearly finished themselves in WW2 but today look at them cooperating and progressing. Black man in Nigeria has been hating themselves since 1960 - 2024 Germany and UK progressing, so why did the UK opt out the EU or why did they not knock down the artificial boundaries and self-declare as one people? It's because your brain is slow to realize that cooperation is best fruitful and feasible when hinged on clearly defined, demarcated boundaries between autonomous parties. Do you have that down here in Nigeria? We are fighting for a structural change that will revisit age long injustice of destroying the regional autonomy as we had then, but "anthing-goes" pacifists like you are asking for Awolowo to apologize. Apology for WHAT For stopping Biafran advance on Yoruba soil or helping the defeated pick up again after the war? The problem with blockheads like you is that, you would rather sell out your own to appear politically correct or detribalized, but you don't realize that you are basking in delusions. Maybe it's the one or two ladies there that you've dated who made you lose your senses. But Yoruba won't fade away because of omo ales. Never! We will either secede from this useless, hopeless country or regain an autonomy that places us in a position to impose good governance on ourselves without compromise from external parasites or internal omo ales!!! |

Billthrils: How can you compare the ZIK of Africa to Awolowo of western Nigeria. Haba let's be reasonable for once. Awo is not Ziks mate in any form. One is an idealist who frolicked with philosophers about empty, impracticable visions of some bogus African unity/one state while the other was someone who has actual, globally reputable achievements to his name, some of which are solely upscaling education, arts and literacy of his people to competitive and exemplary heights. |

MakindeHassan: Some of you are unredeemable tribalist. You need to study history. Awolowo was the brain behind the blockade of the eastern region during the civil war that led to the starvation of Igbo children. Secondly he was the Finance Minister when he decided on the £20 policy that made the SE lose all their savings after the war.
I might be Yoruba but when I see the truth I will say it. If it were you would you vote for him? It was personal against Awo.
It was their choice to vote Peter Obi in 2023. How is that a crime. He was the youngest and most technical and I know Igbo guys that supported Osinbajo until he lost primaries. Rest. Lol all these emotional weaklings deluding themselves as yoruba liberals. They always introduce their mistaken foolishness with the line, "I am Yoruba, but...." Who cares about you being Yoruba who lacks wisdom doesn't understand that what we do to protect yoruba and Yoruba interests in this "dog-eat-dog" federation is best describable as preservatory ethnocentrism, not the tribalism you lots are bleating about. It is what Awolowo did that made the GDP of the then Western region to be equal to the combined GDPs of other regions. It is what set us apart in education as seen in our universities and grammar schools then, in health and social services as seen in our novel TV station, UCH and Cinemas, in our agronomy with cocoa industry and so on. The moment the omo ales started creeping in to discount our autonomy as yoruba people with those pests at the Federal level at the cost of our development as a racial people, the result is the progressive rots we are experiencing today in every facet of the society. Ebubu: Ezza people are troublesome.
When you fear Ebonyi man is easily irritated and can easily pick up a fight, it is an Ezza man.
Their ancestors were warlords.
All these things Fulani herdsmen do, they can’t try it in Ezza land or any land Ezza people have interest.
Uffiom people are not indigenous Igbos, migrated from Cross River and Benue. Although they are now indigenous Ebonyians, they speak and hear Igbo, but speak their distinct dialect which Ebonyians don’t hear.
However their quarrel with Ezza people are decades long, and Ebonyi govt is siding with Uffiom, however Ezza people don’t want to let go and are massacring Uffiom people. Uffiom people massacre them too, but are outpopulated by Ezza people. Ezza people just want to massacre them into extinction or send them back to Benue/Cross river so they can take over their arable land.
The Ebonyi state Government Peace committee instituted by the Governor has sided Uffiom people, but the Ezza people are not having it. You tried in your narration. I served in Effium from 2019-2020, and I can tell you for free that it was a segregated community with the two sides living in parallels. Sometimes, the kids would try to bring the talk and hate to the classroom but I forbade it. Ezza kids would come to me in secret to tell me ridiculous things about Effium and Effium kids too would do same about Ezza. I would only smile. I knew war was imminent because the hate was so deep that you could feel it the moment you step into Effium town. Ezza people regarded Effium indigenes as a backward minority that would not allow them to develop Effium in the name of their indigenous claims on the land. Effium, on the other hand, saw Ezza as invading land gabbers who are there to take their land in the name of development. Ezza people were far richer with many having access to Lagos connections and other resources, but Effium folks are more battle hardened and do not joke with their land or culture despite their poverty. The only way is to partition the land and make laws banning encroachment. The ezza may not be indigenous, but they have made soo much investments there that expulsion is not realistic |
