franchasofficia: The only true Nigerian billionaire on that list is this young man, the rest there are Nigerian corrupt federal government made billionaires, that is why you didn't see any Igbo man there and that is why they are ready to kill to make sure no Igbo man become Nigeria's President because they know how they have been corruptly siphoning Niger Delta crude oil to enrich their tribesmen, friends and loyal cronies since the military era.
Wale Adenuga was made rich by IBB
Aliko Dangote is just a placeholder for most ex Nigerian heads of states who have been using him to hide their loots.
Rabiu I don't have much information about him but I don't trust his origin either.
Femi Otedola became rich through politics, his father was a former Lagos state Governor for those that don't know, and he was broke and owing huge loan that AMCON was on his trail and he ran away to Ghana until Goodluck Jonathan became President and forgave him and returned him back from exile in Ghana, that was how he bounced back and started getting richer and richer through oil deals.
Otedola and Dangote used to be sworn enemies around 2000s to 2006 when they were having issues with Dangote using his brother Rabiu to venture into oil business.
But you see this Yoruba man that founded Calendry, he is a true innovative young man that deserve his billionaire tag, the rest on this list are politically made billionaires all thanks to corrupt past and present Nigerian Military Heads of states and civilian Presidents.
You can quote me anywhere any day, I no send your Papa.
As for the hungry, poverty stricken youths celebrating the fact that their corrupt Presidents have been busy enriching a few of their tribesmen through dirty oil/gas/FOREX dealings to the detriment of their own future, I have nothing to tell you paupers, your reality outside the internet will teach you all hard truth about life, so continue celebrating your corrupt government made fake billionaires without any genuine innovation or invention. Chai see fresh tears. Ehya, pẹlẹ. Drink water and go argue with Forbes on why your generation never smell wealth before |

Usefulsense: Sir, I am not packing trash in Australia. I work in the warehouse. I make in a week my gross in a month in Nigeria. After the monthly expenses, I have 1,600 Australian dollars left in a month. This is more than my monthly gross.
If I had known, before coming to Australia, I would have obtained membership of ANAN. If I had ANAN, I would have been a member of CPA Australia. They recognise ANAN. They don't know ICAN. They recognize ANAN but an ANAN member has to take and pass four CPA exams to become a member of CPA Australia. They would have proposed same to ICAN and ICAN probably rejected it because ICAN would want equal recognition as that given to it by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales. I hope you return to the field to do what you love. As a tip, you can upskill in the area of data analytics or cyber security. That would be a big addition. |

If you had ACCA from Nigeria, I believe your experience with accounting job hunting in Australia would be different. Its hard to imagine an FCA of our noble ICAN packing trash in Australia. ICAN needs to do more in terms of bilateral cooperations with other professional bodies. You would have been able to practice with your FCA in England, I believe |

Only two members were killed. No wounded or apprehended member. Even the names of the killed ones are not mentioned in the post. No identity of ESN was allegedly found in the raided camp. So, how was it ascertained that the two people killed during the raid belonged to ESN? This ESN mugu is in pains |

Politics › Re: Akinwumi Adesina Proposes ‘United States Of Nigeria’ by EleventhWeirdo: 8:26pm On Mar 30, 2024 |
chopnaira: Regionalism is better. People are more united that way by tribes, tongue, and culture and it helps to foster regional nationalism and healthy competition between the regions. As much as I share this view, my concerns bother on two issues - one, what happens to geopolitical zones that are largely heterogeneous i.e. the North Central, North West, and South South? Already, some states are tension grounds for ethno-religious conflicts. Lumping more diverse peoples together is like making the zones fields for bloodbath. Two, how does one make the Federal Government surrender power? As it stands now, this central government has held on to it as if it's life depends on it. Even the National Assembly would not want to surrender the legislative supremacy in some matters. Same applies to the Judiciary. If these arms whose cooperation is vital to the restructuring project are not onboard, then it will be a pipedream. Look at the state of electricity. It's a national embarrassment that a country this huge in resources and potentials is still on a meagre 4000 megawatts while South Africa is above 50,000 megawatts. Most industrial investors won't take us serious and that's why government trips to solicit for foreign investments have always been mere tourism in effect. Do you see the federal government hurrying electricity from the exclusive list to the concurrent list? It is recently that they are making some minor concessions in the sector, but the urgency attached to such a vital matter is still very much laughable. |
