Believeintruth: even when the country reverts to regionalism it will be worse, because you are now constrained to your province, so if your province is not within Lagos province dude you are not a Lagosian, go and ask your grandfather who experienced regionalism what it was all about. Try and get some small sense. I was conversing under the assumption that you had a brain. I might be wrong tho. During regionalism, only Lagos Island was the FCT. The whole of the Mainland, including Ikorodu was part of the Western region. Now that Lagos island is no longer the FCT, under which region would it fall? Tell me, Okoro. An alien telling me to vacate my ancestral yoruba land. Wonders on Nairaland |

Believeintruth: Oga that one is a lie. Nigeria was divided along state lines. If your ancestral home is not within the boundaries of Lagos whether you are yoruba or not, you are not a Lagosian. Let me ask why are you ashamed of your state? go back to your state. you cannot be guilty of the same thing you accuse igbos of doing. stop marginalizing true Lagosians and go back to your state. You may cry as much as you want, but this is reality. The reality will manifest better when this country breaks up or reverts back to regionalism. Hehehe |

Lol everyone who has fished you bigots from that backward region out is living on 30k allowance? I can tell that Lamidi Kanu is vacationing with your senses in Kuje . Oga call your state with your full chest and leave Lagos for the real lagosians. Why are you vibrating all over the thread cos of this news? Later you would complain that your trybe is being stereotyped. I can bet that you're from a particular deserted region |

Hmm. For those wondering why Nigeria can't be found despite the oil and population, check out the peoples of the first 20 countries. Compare how they behave and see national wealth/positions as call to service. Juxtapose that with the average corrupt and 'I must chop my own' mindset of an average Nigerian. There, you have your answer! |

Tribalism has blocked your senses. I only have issue with empty boasting which can potentially cause interethnic frictions. As a mater of fact, it is in Yoruba interests if others can compete educationally, economically and so on. It will drive up productivity on all sides. |

Oga shut up, you're bringing politics to it. You people find out that top 5 scorer of this year jamb are from the east, probably top 3 are from Anambra and that will be an added advantage to Peter Obi presidential quest hence you come up with this headless and meaningless excuse.
Yes , Mmesoma Bleep up, but the most important thing is, even when she was exposed, the legitimate top scorer of that year Jamb was still a girl from the east, Anambra precisely.
Before you come for me, I am not Igbo, this is an Akwa Ibom man typing here . In the last jamb, 6 out of the top 12 candidates came from the SW. Only 1 came from the east and even Edo alone has 3. So where is this empty braggadocio coming from? You people with st00pid chest beating sha |

There was a time she told me directly that she can never understand math, that it isn't for her) and my best student got c5. I served at a School where they would write answers for them on the board during WAEC exams. It was that time I knew that corruption has permeated every facet of this society. Good. Now, Government should remodel our polytechnics as technical training institutes for certificated courses like modern welding technology, construction designs and carpentry, automotive repairs and product management. And Government should fund the training institutes heavily. These courses can take our young population to Europe and Dubai to make money. We should forego empty paper qualifications and only professional courses like Medicine, law, pharmacy etc. should be taken at government universities. Trust me, we will say bye bye to graduate unemployment in 10 years to come. |

I'm not impressed. This man has carried his impactless projects to the federal fronts. That's how he designed abakalikki with debt funded flyovers with no direct impact on the economy. Ebonyi people remained poorer and inter-clan wars enveloped some parts of the state. If he was borrowing as a Governor to build world class rice mills and support for rice agripreneurship in Ebonyi, at least that would have been better than using debt to build flyovers for cosmetic bragging while 70%+ of Ebonyi people languish in EXTREME poverty. |

Do we have a foreign investment policy at all? I understand making some concessions in certain sectors but it's not every foreigner who promises to invest that we will ass-lick. We should have a policy for controlled FDI in sectors currently above the capacity of local flouting. We should discourage others coming to kill the local industries except they agree to transfer technology in the long run. All said, we need basic infrastructure requisite for development i.e. good road networks, functional healthcare, stable electricity, and an education system that actually produces and develops 21st century -readied human capital. |
